When I was a kid, my dad and I used to come here for beer, as we Windsor, Vermonters did not want to pay the 30 cents deposit. My dad once in a while, let me get a treat, may it be a can of soda, or a candy bar. We used to drive here in an old Chevy Luv Truck. I remember it being quite "rough" and dusty sort of place. Most folks come here to get beer or cigarettes. It's a local sort of place. Please come.

It seemed dead amongst the nearby businesses in that little enclave, but a hint of human activity pulled me towards Vermont Spirits. After my coy request and use of the restroom (what a relief!), I stood at the bar and asked about their line of products. Barkeep Meg was nice enough to allow me to sample some of their offerings, including the super secret juice! Also really appreciated being able to talk with the chief, Randy, and exchange eclipse experiences. Really friendly folks, and it truly kept my sanity in check. Big selection of all types of liquor, pretty much anything you've ever heard of. Big selection of wines too, curated surprisingly well for being out here in the middle of nowheresville. Prices are reasonable and much lower than private-market stores like the Coops, Hannaford, etc. The store is efficient, down-to-earth, and safe, with good parking. Their website is excellent: useful, simple and efficient. I recommend checking it out before going to the store. It lists all of their items, and the complete current price list, including sales. It shows exactly what's in stock at each store location (IIRC it is updated each morning).
