Golf Course -- Management treats you as if they don't need you business. They turned on the sprinklers on the holes we were playing. The woman working at the club house was condescending treating us as if we had never golfed before. We had a 5some and she made us split up. We ran into a SLOOOOW 2some so we started playing as a 5some. She came onto the course and said "Maybe you didn't understand me when I said you can't play as a 5some. Split up at the next hole." Mind you there was nobody behind us and if there was, we would have held them up more playing as 2 groups. Course was in decent shape. Too far out of the way when there are better courses which offer a far better experience. Take your money and go to Village Green, Chapel Hills, Maple Ridge, or Harbor Golf Club. read more

Paid to play 9 holes, were warned that storms might be coming. Decided to try and play, but it started to rain on end of 1st hole. Played 2nd hole because it was parallel to 1st hole and ran back to clubhouse. Proceeded to ask for a rain check to come back and play; the owner states, "You f***ing guys." Awkward silence; and again the owner says " You f***ing guys. He (the employee running the pro shop at the time we checked in) warned you." Flustered at this point, the owner then instructs the employee to not give us rain check certificates, but instead reimburse us for 7 holes of golf. No problems with that. Do have a problem with obvious disrespect from an owner of a business that we have been customers of since under his management. Perhaps we were in the wrong heed the pro shop employee's warning. Spring and summer storms are hit or miss; this was our logic. Its not like we were out to get two free holes of golf. Regardless, we walk out the door, not saying anything, but I felt pushed to express my discontent to the owner for being disrespected so blatantly. I half open the door and state to the owner, "That was unbelievably disrespectful, how we were just spoken to. We will not be coming back to give you business." Close door, proceed to car to load golf bags. Within a minute owner comes out and says something like he was joking with us (bologna), I've know you guys to come here awhile and I was seriously joking with you. Words are exchanged, nothing else vulgar, but we were told to not come back by owner. Thinking to myself, "Fine, I already told you we are not coming back." And that was how the 2018 golf season was opened for my partner and I. Again, we might have been in the wrong to play in first place, knowing storms were coming in. Just hope anyone who reads this will not be in a similar situation that we were in. read more

A nice golf course a little of the beaten path in Ohio. Easy to walk and priced right ($15 to walk 18 holes.) The staff was friendly and courteous. Heading back there today to play another round. I would recommend some bug spray though. read more

Cow Pastures and Moonscapes. Do not play here unless you're into self-torture. The Cleveland Browns might as well adopt this as their home course because BROWN is the color of EVERY ONE of the 18 "greens" on this course. Of course, it's hard to have green greens when you don't invest in maintaining your grass or any kind of sprinkler system. Sand traps? Try mud traps. This place is a horror show. Skip it. read more

Worst camping experience of my life. Concentration on the golf course is near impossible when you get up to the holes behind the campground. The dogs barking, running off leash and loud partying of the seasonal campers is enough to keep us from ever returning. The buildings are run down, unkept. The owners are rude and could care less how they treat their customers. I would never return, and will never recommend. read more

I have played this course when it was a dump in 1981! I have played it today May 26, 2018 for the last time. Thirty-seven years, since I was a teenager, I played here. The present owners did wonders improving the course, however, on this day, it was in TERRIBLE condition. Possible storms coming in but we decided to try to play and dodge the rain clouds. Finished 2 holes and had to call it. Simply asked for a rain check ( did NOT ask for a refund). That's how business is done on the golf courses. Owner was completely disrespectful to us and cursed us two times. He grudgingly told his employee to charged us for the two holes and just refund money. We told the owner that he was completely disrespectful and he would not receive our business ever again. Folks, seriously, do not give this course your business. Owners are very pompous and non-courteous. The course isn't that good and they should be very thankful for the business they get but they are not. read more

Stayed here in July on a cross country trip. Owners were VERY friendly and we completely enjoyed our experience both camping and playing golf. Course was a little dry because of the drought but the greens were in excellent shape. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in Ohio. read more
