Two words; Good Vibes! I found Wine and Design on Yelp last night for a last minute night out. Booking the class online was easy. Parking was a bit limited but we lucked up (try to get there 20 minutes before your class). The studio was a vibe! The owner Josh is cool; very personable and knowledgeable about painting and art. A finished painting of the blue crab was on the easel and looked pretty intimidating lol but he reminded us to have fun with it. And we did! Thanks to some good ole Riesling Thanks again Josh for your patience and easy going instruction, we appreciate it and will def be back!

For my birthday this year I decided, quite last minute, that I wanted to do a paint and sip with a few of my close girlfriends and needed to find a spot ASAP. I emailed Wine & Design and they responded even while they were on vacation in the Bahamas...such great service! It was amazing that I was able to organize with Vanessa my entire event within a few days. She gave me the entire room as a private event and was just so amazing. On the day of the event, our artist unfortunately cancelled, however being the amazing host/organizer that she is, Vanessa dropped everything and came there herself to be our artist so that my party would not be disrupted. We all got there and she helped us set up - providing glasses, wine openers, music, and anything else we needed. She basically made the entire event a success for me and my friends. I've been to other paint and sips, but this one by far has been the best. From the ambiance to the artist to the selection of paintings! I just want to say thank you so much Vanessa! My friends and I had an amazing time and I'm definitely spreading the word!

I visited Hoboken with my mother and my daughter and we did a paint & sip with Vanessa. I...was...shocked! My 8 year old daughter painted that lion with no help! Vanessa did a great job and everyone was so pleased with the paintings. We have them all up on our walls! I highly recommend checking them out when you're in the area and if you live there...you're missing out if you haven't gone! So much fun!

    Our beautiful paintings!!

I was so nervous about making a mistake, but the instructor (Vanessa) was super cool and very helpful.

We try to support vendors for our team events, but our experience with "Paint the Town" was chaotic…read morefrom start to finish. We booked a premium, full-service package for a team-building afternoon, but instead of relaxing, my team spent the entire time stressing, moving boxes, and cleaning up after the staff we hired. We aren't trying to be difficult clients; we simply wanted the service we paid for. Instead, we faced a massive burden: The setup was chaotic and late: For a group our size, the policy is a 40-80 minute setup window. The facilitator didn't show up until 1:33 PM for a 2:00 PM start. Her assistant didn't arrive until after the event started. We were left watching the clock, wondering if our event was even going to happen. We had to manage their logistics: The assistant arrived late and without ID. Since we are in a secure office building, she couldn't get in. Instead of the vendor handling this, my team had to stop what they were doing, leave the event space, and go down to the lobby to retrieve her and haul up the supplies she was carrying. Dismissive attitude: Mistakes happen, but the facilitator's attitude made it worse. She was dismissive about being late and shockingly unhelpful regarding her own assistant's supplies. At one point, when asked about the materials her assistant brought, she refused to help, telling us she "couldn't hang onto that." It felt like we were imposing on her, rather than the other way around. My team did the physical labor: Because they were so behind, the setup wasn't done until 2:30 PM--30 minutes into our paid time. To save the event, my colleagues and I had to step in and physically unpack boxes, set up stations, and distribute materials. We paid for a full-service event but ended up doing the heavy lifting ourselves. Contract issues: We paid extra for the "all new supplies" option so our team could keep their materials. Despite this, the facilitator packed up and took many of the paints and brushes back with her. They walked out on the mess: Despite the event starting late due to their tardiness, the facilitator refused to stay a minute past 4:00 PM. She started aggressively cleaning up while people were still painting, then bolted out the door right at 4:00, leaving us to finish the cleanup and break down the boxes. I cannot recommend this vendor. We paid for a fun, stress-free afternoon and instead received a chaotic experience where we had to work as the setup and cleanup crew.

My friend and I shared a light snack. We were able to talk and paint and also listen to the instructor. Honestly as someone who is not artistic my painting came out pretty nice. I would definitely come back and recommend to do this for a bday, girls night or date idea. There is a parking garbage near by . It's Hoboken, so parking is not easy so keep that in mind and go early.

This is a wonderful place to have a date night!…read more My date and I learned how to paint alongside other people who signed up for the class. There were only 10 participants (including ourselves), so it was not too rowdy at all. You're expected to bring your own wine and snacks for the event because it will last up to four hours (6-9pm) but time goes by quickly when you're having fun. There will be music playing while you paint and you're free to talk, so don't stress about this being taking super seriously. The painting is taken step-by-step and the instructor was a very patient young woman. She encouraged us to ask questions and request help if needed. She who knew her craft, but never looked down on us if we weren't painting exactly to the original material. After all, art is subjective. By the end of the event, you'll be able to take your painting home so it's encouraged to leave your signature. I felt incredibly proud of my work and it's a great conversation topic to go on about for the rest of the night. I would come back over and over again, as long as I have a partner with me. It's more fun with someone you know.
