The ambiance is great and the wine selection is incredible'! We got a flight and the server was very helpful to recommend what to get. The other menus online aren't accurate - this is accurate as of 12/24!

What does a person do before attending a play at the Actors Guild? We decided to check out Wine Down on Market, after all wasn't far away. When we arrived we were asked if we had reservations. Which we did not, so we were asked if the bar was okay. Not only was it okay, it was fantastic! We were treated like royalty. Andi, answered all our questions although she was very busy. Her kindness was very nice and a pleasant surprise. I was afraid we would feel out of place but that was not the case. The other couples at the bar area greeted us and made polite and great conversation. Advising us about their favorites and to save room for dessert. We ordered a plate to share of mushrooms and noodles and also a flatbread. My spouse had an Old Fashion and I had a wine flight. The food and drinks did not disappoint. TJ the baker, made an awesome chocolate dessert to top off a delightful experience. We already warned Andi that we will be back!

I could talk about how good the food is, because it is. But unless u r dressed impeccably I wouldn't enter this place, except if you are a masochist and enjoy people talking down to you. I was first treated rudely by the waiter and asked to move tables, if they want people sitting at certain tables then they should have someone to seat them. Instead of asking people to move. Second I was sitting outside not once was my drink filled. So I sat there sweating bullets till my food finally came. The only pictures I have posted are the only 2 that matter. This restaurant is trying to pull the bait and switch. The first photo is the one on their web site! It clearly shows 3 Arancini with a dish of sauce. So imagine my suprise when the rude little waiter brought me one nugget on a mound of green stuff. It looked nothing like the picture. It looked like a classic bait and switch. I tried to ask the waiter about it, but he was too busy trying to greet his next table to worry about me. So he said let me get my manager with an attitude. She came out and told me that the picture on the website was old and that is the way they make it now and she didn't know what to tell me. I have worked in the food industry and this isn't the way you treat or talk to customers. I won't be back ever! Enjoy the bait and switch pictures.

Our appetizer the Burrata. Fresh mozzarella and warm pita triangles... the real show stopper was that balsamic glaze.

Cute atmosphere but waited far too long (20+ mins) for a drink. Absolutely not busy at all.

My boyfriend and I were passing through Charleston, WV during our roadtrip and looking for dinner…read moreduring the work week. I wanted to try something new and interesting and through my Yelp research I found this spot. It's located in downtown with metered street parking free Monday-Saturday nights after 6pm and all of Sunday. Luckily, we were able to find a spot easily. Inside was modern and relatively clean. We had to wait a little bit to be seated as they were pretty busy; however, this place had a decent amount of seating and space. Service was good overall, but it wasn't as consistent as I would've liked for actions such as water refills, asking for extra napkins, etc. This was partly because they were very busy that night. They have a variety of food options - apps, salads, sandwiches, pies (pizzas), and dessert. We ended up ordering a large pizza (thin crust) to split - half Thai and half Chicken Gouda. Both were yummy although the crust was a tad burnt - nothing bad to the extent that taking bites were an effort. Overall, I preferred the Thai since I've never come across a Thai style pizza and I could really taste the curry sauce. The only downside of the Thai was that the shrimp were slightly overcooked, which could be potentially explained by us ordering a pizza split in two styles with them cooking the entire pizza evenly versus what is needed for each ingredient. We finished the entire pizza between the two of us, but I could see someone having some leftovers. If possible, they might want to do some minor pest management. The entire time of our visit a fruit fly or gnat was hovering around us and the food. We tried to catch it and protect the food, only for it to ultimately take a permanent dip in my water. My overall assessment was that it was a good place to try in the city. It's not something I would crave, but I wouldn't mind coming back again if I was in the area.

We didn't eat food…read more We went for wine tasting. I walked up to the hostess and said "HI, we've not be here before. Is there a certain area for just drinking wine?" Hostess, mind you, no hi, "Do you know if you're buying bottles?" Me: "No, we've not tried it. I guess probably not at this point." Hostess: "Everything is table service." I said okay and went and told my family in the car. She walked us back to a table. No conversation was had. It is a very pretty area, BTW. It was pretty quiet. It was Friday at 4 so not dinner time yet. We sat for 15 minutes, watching waitress socialize, play with dogs, etc. My husband stood up to find out about a server, and our waitress came. I dont know what her name was, but she said "Sorry no one told me you were here, hope you haven't been waiting long." She served us our flight very quickly. She came to check on us once and then disappeared. After waiting longer to try to pay, we went inside to pay. We were going to buy a bottle of the Chardonnay, but everything took forever, we gave up.
