Stopped by the Wine Village yesterday. It was a great day weather wise. This was my first time at this event. It's an annual event that only lasts about a month. It will be ending June 1st so you have a few weeks. It's kid and pet friendly. It's free admission. Parking is tricky but not impossible. There are seats available - you can bring your own chairs but on weekends it's packed. Get there right at opening time (1 pm on weekends, 3 pm on weekdays). We didn't bother bringing any chairs and really don't need it. We were able to get a table. There's international and local wines and spirits available. They don't really offer tastings. You just have to buy a glass or a bottle. I think it would be beneficial to offer tastings at a small cost that way you can know what you may like and want to purchase. The wines were a bit pricey. One of my favorite local wineries was here, Boordy's! The wine slushies in the pouches were popular. We tried the red wine sangria and agreed it was just ok. We stopped by the kebab spot. I tried the steak kebab in a pita and it was ok. Had to pay separately for the sauces. Way overpriced for what you get honestly. It's a cute event and something that was on my bucket list. I may possibly visit again before it's gone but if I miss it, oh well!

It was just ok. Something to do .... Nothing to go out of ur way for. Park the the garage on Lee st for $15 validated parking. Makes it easy to walk directly across the street. The portapottys were out of toilet paper. The two wines I had were amazing . I am a wine drinker and opted for a dry red and a rose. Can't remember the names . I purchased the chicken kabob which was ok didn't get a sauce because I didn't read they were paid for separately ... but the food was good ... I feel like this is over priced for nothing just to have something to do. Kid and family friendly. No drama just people chilling enjoying the beautiful day. Even tho I wasn't impressed I almost want to take my girls so they can peruse the vendors ...

Wanted to check out the Wine Village last year but never made it - bummer. So I'm glad I got to check it out this year. Admission is free and parking was convenient and it was perfect day to walk around the Inner Harbor and try some wine and check out some cute vendors. What more can a girl ask for lol There is ample seating or you can opt to bring your own chairs and blankets. It's also pet friendly for those who have fur babies. They offer a variety of local and international wines at a semi decent price. They do not offer tastings so once you order a glass you're taking a gamble. Luckily I enjoyed all the wines that I tasted, my friend not so much. They also offer a variety of wine slushies and other drinks so you're bound to find something that you like. While we didn't have any of the food since we went to village after brunch but they also offer a variety of food and sweets to enjoy. Glad I finally got to experience the wine village.

Just one of the many wine offerings to choose from

Loved everything about the wine village, from all the different vendors offering clothing, jewelry, vintage leather bags etc. to the various wine vendors and snacks vendors, I have an excuse to return at least 10 more times! The layout is family and senior friendly, various areas with chairs, shared tables, umbrellas for the sunny days etc. It's free to walk through to just enjoy the vibe, and movie nights on Thursday's! Definitely check it out next time you're downtown. It's open until 9-10pm daily!

The wine village is definitely a nice seasonal little festival near the Baltimore Inner Harbor, although the wine glasses are a little bit expensive and the bottles of wine are overpriced. You can purchase refills with their wine glass for around $8 to $10. I did notice that they measure out every wine pour as well. The frozen cocktails were not that great. I thought they were very bland, watered down and not strong at all, even after paying for an extra shot. I did have one of the bratwurst sausages, which was really good. They are dog friendly and I do enjoy walking around and seeing the different craft vendors. It is also free entry so you can go in and you do not have to spend a dime.

Wine village was soso. Family friendly, Get there early and get a sweet seat. Food is soso. I got a chicken and herb kebab which was pretty good. Also I bought a pretzel which I thought would be warm (there I go thinking again) would not get it again. The men at was really good to me. The froze I had tasted like water. Some of the venders were measuring out small pours for wine... and they were super small. Less that half a glass cost me 20$ This was a DC price. First glass 14$ the rest are 8$ each... they up charged a lot. And there are no tastings for wine. You have to just buy the wine and hope you like it. There were kids, babies and lots of smiles on faces. There were also jewelry venders, candles and a few other surprises. If you go on the weekend parking will be scarce. Got lots of sun and that was the best part! Might come back, might not.

The wine village in Baltimore was nice. There were good drinks, food, and plenty of vendors right on the water. It was just odd to us that no music was played nearly the entire time we were there (around 1:30pm-5:30pm) and they started playing music right as we left

Absolutely loved my time at Wine Village. There was plenty of great food vendors to choose from but my favorite was the Grill Kebab. The Steak on a Stick was delicious, I didn't need any sauce for that thang. I then tried the Bacon & Cheeder Fries which was a bit underwhelming. I thought it was going to be more of a cheese sauce situation instead of a shredded cheese. It was still good but I also wished it was in like a bowl of some sort rather than a cone. I didn't get the Onion Bloom but MAN did it smell so good. For dessert I had a classic tres leche's :). Ofc I washed it all down with a house wine. Refills were also in expensive. I can't wait for it to come back next year. Plenty of places to sit, music was lively but if you have a not so well tempered dog I would leave them home. My dog was a bit over stimulated by all the people and other dogs, lesson learned lol.

Another year at the wine village! This year is bigger and better but still has the same fun vibes and delicious wine. They have many different tents with new, old, and local wines. This year they also added a ton of fun new cocktails. We only had wine but it was a great day!

An experience at the wine village is always a ten out of ten! Great food, desserts, drinks etc. Bring your spouse, friends, or family it's an experience for everyone. Not to mention it's kid and pet friendly.

First time experiencing the Wine Village in Baltimore. It's nice to have a Spring / Summer event to go to in the heart of Baltimore . Admission is free and It's a nice , clean, safe, family friendly event. Plenty of vendors to try, food it's, wine, and even non-alcoholic options which I appreciate. The weather was perfect Lounge on the plenty lounge chairs with umbrellas and benches with umbrellas as well, listen to the tunes of music from the 2000's and bask in the smell of French fries, corn dogs, and bacon on a stick lol and of course you are welcome to bring your own lawn chairs. If you get here early around 3pm there is ample parking , after that I can't make any promises. Many people choose to Uber which I think is wise. Some folks brought there dogs , it's honestly not enough room for pets in my opinion, it's a small event . Cool place to end your work day if you are working from home and don't have any meetings. Beautiful views of the Harbor and surrounding restaurants. Everyone is really friendly and informative, there were for main stations for wine and libations- the fan fav wine slushy pouch was a hit amongst many. You can purchase wine glasses , stem or stemless and of course bottles of wine and Prosecco for sale amongst other beverages. I chose the highly recommended Premium Red wine from the European Wine station, not too dry and not too sweet , nice Italians blend. You can bring your food to picnic in the middle of the quad. There is a stage for performance and plenty of places to sit and relax with family and friends. Many folks brought there small children as well. Only thing I would suggest is that they install more Porta John's and wash stations for the crowd, it's not enough by far.

Came down the the Wine Village in Baltimore on a Friday afternoon before the Memorial Day holiday. We parked at the Lee St. garage where you can get your ticket validated at the village and pay a $15 flat fee. Upon entering, there were kiosks that resembled small village huts (btw these are the same ones used for Christmas Village) selling food, drinks, and other craft items. We got the Passionfruit slushy, a mix of Passionfruit purée, white wine, agave, lime juice, and. It was presented in an "adult-size" clear pouch reminiscent of a Capri Sun dress no for kids. It was tasty and refreshing. You could also add wine infused fruit (for an additional cost). All in all, a great event and let's hope they do it more often!

Overall, I really enjoyed my time at the Wine Village. I actually visited twice during the month it was open. I liked that it was free admission and you could pay as you go for wine, drinks, food and other goods. I also appreciated that parking at the garage on Lee St. was discounted to $12 (with the sticker you received at the carousel booth). There were many choices of wines. You could order by the glass or purchase a bottle. I honestly think if you're with a group and you all have the same preference in wine, you're better off buying a bottle. I did wish there were more food options but I did try the fries (they were ok), a chicken basil pesto crepe from the Crepe Crazy stall (surprisingly good), and mini donuts from the Deddle's Mini Donut stall (excellent). I also wish there was more seating and people coming to make sure available tables were cleaned regularly.

The "gladiators" pass you by on your way to watch a game of bocce ball. People are friendly as this is a block party festival that gives you a feeling that you are one big family. Very easy to start conversation and harder to end it. I learned today that the meat is not what makes calzone but the dough that hosts the meat inside. The meet was good but the dough was memorable. Speaking about the dough - how about delicious sweet fried dough for $3 that is impossible to finish by one person - even if you are a true Italian. I was advised by two elderly Italian ladies, "take real sugar because the powder sugar is too messy, and have sugar on both sides." I am sorry that I did not try meatballs but I can testify that calzone and pizza were the first class and worth the trip. I am very tempted to repeat the experience on a similar event - August 19 and 20, 2017 - this time just a saint will be different (St Gabriel in August).

We picked the later session for the sake of the summer heat and it couldn't have been more perfect once the sun set! We also enjoyed the live band that performed favorite, current & pop covers. Vendors of all types were there to offer a variety of things from jewelry, desserts, services, handmade goods, shirts, and many more. We took an Uber there, also my first time, so I can't comment on parking. What I found convenient was the portable sinks to wash your hands.
