this weekend I took my boyfriend on a date to Webber's peach Berry Farm. We had such a wonderful time and the employees greeted us as soon as we parked our car. I don't remember the ladies name who helped us, but she helped us to decide which apples we wanted to pick. I thought that was such a unique aspect because we've been to other Apple picking farms and they don't tell you, which apples are on, which trees. Of course it's a little early to go. Apple picking so the trees aren't as colorful, but there are tons of apples and beautiful scenery. They clearly keep this farm. Very well kept. The employees even went out of their way to tell us about other seasons that we could come back for strawberry picking peach picking, and flower, picking which are all my favorites, so I will definitely be back .

Apple picking was very fun and a nice date night activity! GLOWS: -GPS brings you right to location. Plenty or parking and easy to find -Information on varieties of apples was helpful in knowing what kind of apples to pick. -The bag seems small, but a great amount of apples can fit inside. -There are a lot of crazy looking apples to pick through, but we found enough good ones to fill our bag Beware of bugs! GROWS: -Opening hours change often, so it makes it hard to plan a visit in advance

There is something so incredibly satisfying about picking your own fruit - it's like getting back to basics as a human being. Located less than 30 mins from the city, this pick-your-own farm is owned and operated by the Weber family, who might be familiar to you because of the Weber Cider Mill Farm Market in Parkville. Depending on the time of the year, you're able to harvest strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, peaches, and/or apples. PLEASE NOTE: they do not have regular hours - instead, they will announce dates and times via their Facebook or website. You must pre-purchase session entry (you'll get turned away otherwise). They are also very strict about time, and, of course, it's weather permitting. The staff are helpful but relatively hands-off - just follow the rules and be respectful. Great activity with kids!

Love love love this place..have been picking fruit here since 2013. Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, peaches, and apples, every year! So far I've done strawberries and blueberries this year with their social distancing rules in place. Paying ahead of time online is helpful, but a problem if the weather changes or if they run out. It does limit the amount of people there, at least. I'm wondering if they will keep this method for the future, as parking has been an issue in previous years. Staff is always ready to help teach you how you pick a particular fruit and what to look for.

Went here for the first time and am so excited that there's an awesome pick your own location so close by. During COVID, you need to purchase your apple pack before go and select a time to ensure there aren't too many people on site at once. Heads up but the driveway to the parking lot is a dirt road. It's not long but I was surprised so wanted to give people a heads up. There were lots of appe varieties to pick and they even provided poles to help pick apples from the tops of trees. The staff was helpful and the apples plentiful! Makes for a beautiful and fun Autumn event!

The vibe at the Peachberry Farm is so relaxing and inviting. The staff are friendly and so helpful. My son and I had a great time today picking the first set of peaches for the season and some gorgeous flowers!! Not to be missed

Cannot recommend this farm enough for apple picking if you're looking for a safe Fall activity outdoors. It's about an hour and a half outside of DC, so not too bad of a drive on a nice day. You have to prepay beforehand and make your reservation (in a COVID world) otherwise you won't be allowed to pick apples. They had about three varieties of apples available for picking and they also provided apple pickers to reach the really high apples that you can't reach easily. They had plenty of apples to choose from and they have all been really juicy, crunchy apples. You can't eat the apples at the site as a COVID precaution and you also have to wear your mask the entire time you are picking. My favorite part though was the DIY flower picking where you can build your own bouquet for $10. They had a lot of beautiful varieties and it was so fun cutting and creating my own bouquet. I will definitely visit the peachberry farm in the future and tell all my friends about it!

Had a very pleasant experience here. We intended on picking 1/2 peck but since that option was sold out we went with the 1/2 bushel. I am glad we were forced to choose this option because we had a blast picking away (64 apples to be exact). The staff here was very friendly and offered tips and tricks while picking. I highly recommend this spot for family and friends. The apple cider is heaven in a bottle and the market sold a variety of goods!

    PYO strawberries! ($2.99/lb)

This farm has several fruits available for PYO (Pick Your Own) throughout the growing season starting from May to October, such as: strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, peaches, apples, & pumpkins. It's very easy to get carried away and then end up with $30 worth of berries, but hey, it's still cheaper than buying it from stores. I *HIGHLY* recommend checking their Facebook page right before you plan on leaving to the farm because sometimes they are picked out, so they do a great job at updating their status on the PYO crops. Story time: I arrived here at 9:15AM for PYO strawberry (started at 9AM), me and my boyfriend were the last ones permitted to pick for the day!! The PYO event was suppose to last until noon! So definitely come early if possible (first come, first serve). I also want to add that this farm/location is different from Weber's Cider Mill Farm (their actual storefront....which is also awesome). Please dress appropriately, you may get wet from the morning dew, dirty/muddy from picking fruits low to the ground, & possibly bring back some critters with you! When I finished blackberry picking, I noticed a TICK (!!!) was on my pants! So make sure to tuck in your pant legs into your socks and always change and wash your clothes after picking! I totally recommend bringing a date here to go picking, nothing screams romantic than picking deliciously, ripened fruits! You can go home and then use a recipe with your new fruits too!....unless you prefer a boring movie and a dinner -shrugs-. I usually see families with their small kids here too, but I don't recommend it just because I did bring a tick back home with me and would feel terrible if a kid get bit because they weren't careful. So be safe and have fun picking!! :D

Weber's Peachberry Farm is connected to Weber's Cider Mill Farm, but they are not in the same location so beware if you're doing a quick GPS search and just type in Weber's Farm. The Peachberry Farm location offers a number of pick your own fruit options throughout the year. I have been several times to pick apples and strawberries. They do an excellent job of posting updates on their Facebook page about the hours, what's available to pick that day, etc. so definitely check there before heading out. You can get an idea of when the pick your own seasons start for different fruits by looking on their website. Their fruit is excellent and reasonably priced. Be sure to not wear your Sunday's best (I think that goes without saying, but I do see a lot of folks who are picking for the 'gram instead of for the fruit) and wear a pair of old shoes as you will get muddy.

Peachberry Farm was a wonderful pick-your-own fruit farm. We went for apples and a wild flower bouquet which was fun. Getting a time slot was a little complicated but doable. It's a bit far from Baltimore, but worth the drive. The apples were easy to pick (although the bigger orchards are kinda more fun sometimes). They had several varieties which was nice, they were all delicious and I made a great pie with some of the apples. During COVID, you wouldn't pick and eat which was sad, but i understand the protocol and am glad they set those rules. Wasn't the biggest fan of their flower variety but I'm just not a big wildflowers person. We made an okay bouquet out of the flowers they had. It was still a fun activity though!! Overall a great time! We went to the Weber's Cider Mill afterwards for some apple cider donuts and apple cider slushies - SO GOOD. Don't miss doing that, would higher recommend.

Great time! Buy by the bag at reasonable prices for apples ($19/peck). Apple picking is quick and easy. Perfect to get you in the fall spirit!

I browsed through all of their condiments, ice creams, and fruits & vegetables, which they had some pretty unique items that piqued my interest. But their wide selection of vegetables and herbs for planting in your garden gave me endless possibilities of things to plant. With so many rows of outdoor plants and garden selections I think you'll definitely find what you're looking for. Jones Family Farms has a good variety of tomatoes and peppers as well as different variations of your traditional herbs. I was able to grab some amethyst basil, which is a beautiful shade of darkish black, purple. They also had a vast number of lettuces to choose from to grow a healthy salad in your garden. All of Jones' items seem to be reasonably priced, given the quality of their plants and what you would pay at some other big-name stores like Home Depot or Loews. I couldn't stop myself from picking up little pots of garden staples but eventually told myself enough for now. Whether you're a newbie to gardening or an avid gardener, I think Jones Family Farms is a great spot to gather your planting necessities. And of course, they have you covered with all of the beautiful flowers to make your yard amazing.

Something in my body told me to check the website to see if…read morepeaches were ready earlier this week, and to my surprise, they had stopped the picking to allow more fruit to ripen. Do you know what that meant!? It means they had already started picking them and I was late! Again! I remembered to look again today and it said it was open but it might not last all day and they highly doubt there would be peaches available to pick for Saturday or Sunday. The website noted the late freeze in April didn't give them a great harvest this year. That meant RUN RUN RUN ‍ so that's exactly what I did. Although I missed two exits getting there SMH, I pulled up, changed my shoes, and opened my trunk to grab my little red wagon. To my dismay, it was not there! I could not believe it because how was I going to haul all my peachesand by myself?! I quickly called my mama and she told me she indeed still had its. I was heartbroken because I was already by myself and no one could come such last minute but now I have to somehow carry the heavy peaches through the field and the hot sun. I looked around and saw wheelbarrows but already knew they would be way too heavy for me to pull around the field so I quickly emptied a reusable bag for my box to go in, and headed to the stand. This year you have to purchase a entry band for everyone that is within the field. That $3 goes towards the farm and whatever they need. Years prior, container size you purchased dictated how many people could go into the field to cleft l collect for that box. Bigger box, more people. I noticed a sign stating I couldn't bring a tote bag in the field and the gentleman explained he would have to check it on the way out. I didn't really care about that and explained to him how I left my wagon and he offered for me to use one of their wheelbarrows. I declined at first because I knew it was going to be too heavy for me to haul around and I instantly had flashbacks of back in the day trying to move that thing. I decided to walk over and see how heavy it was. Guess what!? These wheelbarrows are so lightweight! They're not even made of steel LOL I was so happy and quickly grabed the wheelbarrow, put my box in along with my things, and headed into the field after paying. The smell of peaches fermenting has got to be one of my all-time favorites! It was a warm day today so I definitely took my time and tried to find shade as I picked my peaches. My box quickly filled up so I grabbed one, munched on it and then left after taking some video. What a quick visit. I knew my next stop was to grab my favorite peach butter so I headed to the store. They have less products this year and I wondered how our current climate has been impacting other farms which helps supply their store. They have a few different varieties of mushrooms all boxed for 10 bucks to include lion's mane, porcini, yellow trumpets and others. I made my way around the perimeter of the store and saw some of the usuals like beef jerky, beeswax candles, kraut, cheeses, milk and such. When I got to my favorite spot with my peach butter, there was none! The whole top shelf was empty! This has happened to me before and I had to come back. Hopefully I'll be able to grab some at a later date but if you go grab me a jar lol. I then started looking for to Taharka's ice cream and noticed a deep freezer with a sign indicating the ice cream was inside. I decided not to grab any because I wasn't too sure if I was headed straight home or not. The last time I had to eat both pints so that they didn't melt in my car . . . . . I can't wait for my next adventure at Larriland. The fall will be a great time to visit as well. Oh yeah, right now currently they have onions, tomatoes, potatoes, beets and some other pick your owns in season as well. Happy picking
