Wouldn't let us in without a referral. Condescending and rude. Would not explain why, just that we needed a referral.

He really enjoys coming to class and has learned so much about robotics, coding, and problem-solving over the years. The teachers are patient, friendly, and make learning fun for the kids. I also love how the classes encourage children to think independently, be creative, and figure things out on their own. It has been wonderful watching my son grow and become more confident with technology. He recently moved up to VEX IQ at almost 8 years old, and he is very excited about it. After more than three years, he still enjoys coming to class every week. We're very happy with his experience here and would definitely recommend this place to other parents.

The Parent and Me are helpful foundations that I then can take home and just practice directly. The 30 minute group lessons my kids are currently in have been solid. A few notes: - The instructors change out quite a bit (turnover and absences)where my kids usually have a different instructor each time. It is not usually a problem since the instructors are all solid and pretty consistent - The deck managers are A+++. Adrian in particular is phenomenal with my son who is nervous around water. Love their engagement and care. - Group lessons can be 4 kids (my kid swims way less) or 1 kid (basically private lesson) just depending on the absences of attendance. I appreciate the class size but the larger class size feels like my kid gets only about 10 mins of true lessons since attention is spread across so many kids.

A girlfriend of mine recommended the place she brings her daughter to, so we decided to give it a try. From the very first class, I was so impressed! Premier Swim Academy in Diamond Bar is new, clean, and super spacious. The whole environment feels safe and welcoming. Most importantly, the instructors are well-trained, professional, and truly know how to work with young kids My daughter absolutely adores her instructor Carson -- she talks about him nonstop after class! ‍ If you're thinking about swimming lessons for your little one, I highly recommend Premier Swim Academy at Diamond. I'm so glad we found them, and I'm sure you will be too!

She asked if there was classes for survival. Luckily I found California Survival School. We were fortunate to have Dan as the instructor. He background is quite extensive and impressive. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Although I thought my seven year old would get bored with the lecture portion, Dan kept the group engaged throughout. The hand on activities were our favorite, like building a tend properly. Both my daughter and I enjoyed the class and learned essential skills that can be used in everyday situations. Highly recommend the class for any age.

We took the core survival class, and found it to be very useful. Many of the essential components of surviving in the wild are counterintuitive, especially based off of pre-conceptions we have learned from movies and TV shows about wilderness survival. We are now much better prepared because of the knowledge we gained through this class. I won't give any spoilers cause that would ruin the experience- but on top of basic survival priorities, we learned how to build shelters, purify water, best react to dangerous animals, build fire, and even identify some plants. I also learned that I am kind of a pansy and really don't want to get lost in the wild. I would definitely recommend wearing long pants and long sleeves due to some of the tasks required during the training. Don't be like the girl that came (loudly pronouncing that she was) super hungover, wearing a super deep v neck and no bra (come on man- save it for Burning Man), because you are going to have to actually do stuff. This is a hands-on course, not a powerpoint presentation. Overall, would highly recommend this course for adventurers wanting to better learn how to be safe in the wild.

Classes are typically held at his many physical campuses in the morning, as well as in the evening to accommodate for the average work schedule, and Saturday mornings. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all classes are now being held online (the classes must go on!). Most, if not all of the content Doc Manny teaches is easy to comprehend, whether you have a medical background or not. Classes are year-round so you can start when you want, but they move at your own pace. It's not formatted like traditional schools, where they start in the fall and end in the spring; Doc is able to teach in a way that progresses each student no matter where they are or when they started. Depending on how quick you learn, you may finish earlier than others, even if you both started at the same time. This also includes taking/passing the AHIMA test (I finished mine & got my certification in 4 months! Thanks to my classmates too for all your help & encouragement). If for some reason you're unable to grasp what's being taught, Doc Manny will repeat it over and over again until it clicks. For incoming students, the whole process can be overwhelming and a bit challenging at times, but once you find your footing and get a feel for things, you'll be right on track. Dr. Manny Santiago has been teaching medical coding for 20+ years and he really illustrates the experience through his passion for the job. He is very knowledgeable, professional, caring, patient, supportive, approachable, and most of all, very accommodating to his student's needs. He is always ready to answer any of your questions. As an added bonus, he keeps students engaged through much needed jokes, and some times, unintended humor! :) Once you've passed his class and you're finally a CCS (Certified Coding Specialist), he will also assist you in getting a job. I really had an awesome experience at HSJ. I learned so much from Doc Manny, as well as from his great proctors GJ Blanco, Mike Agbayani and Marie Garcia!!! I highly recommend this school to anyone!

Stemtree in Diamond Bar is so different and stands out by doing just that. My kids go to Stemtree afterschool and they do homework, enrichment such as math and English, then Stem hands on activities such as science, making light up lantern (physic), make crystals (chemistry), slime, 3d printing, build legos that move, code (robotics) and more. The stem portion is very structured and organized with different activities planned out each week. Kids will move between different modules. My kids don't particularly have strong interest in stem initially but I choose Stemtree for exposure to science and hands on activity to build creativity. Also they try to prepare kids for future and just started testing reading comprehension with Star test for their AR level monthly. My school does Star AR test quarterly, but it's nice to have it monthly here to see the progress, help them see results and also improve on test taking skills. During the last school holiday (no school) they have a Columbus theme day where kids builds boats and have a competition of see who's boat floats the best in water and kids got prizes.
