Great wings! If you want jumbo wings, go somewhere else. If you want a wonderful customer service experience, go to a place with waitstaff. I prefer my wings small; the flavor is incomparable. As for the service, it is as expected. You place your order, wait for them to cook it, get your food, and leave unless you want to eat there... always a spot to sit. The food is cooked to order, so it's always hot and fresh. I guess it could be a little more welcoming. Throw up a little décor. Please the sensitive folks. I was meaning to try this place since moving here because we would drive past it all the time. And it definitely didn't disappoint!! There's not many pictures or reviews on Yelp, but from the ones I've seen on Google I knew I had to give it a try. I called for a pickup order and it was still good after my 20 minute drive home. Normally I have issues with ordering wings from certain places because the wings would be either chewy or dry. But it wasn't the case at Hot Wings Express. Their wings were nice and fresh, not overly drenched in sauce, and so tasty. I'll be back over and over again! I highly recommend this location! On my way thru town, I was starving and looking for some place quick but not a national chain. Spying the "Just Open" banner, I did a quick turn to check this place out. I ordered a 6" philly cheesesteak, fries, and an unsweet tea. The restaurant has minimal decor, and is very, very echoy and loud. They really need a carpet or some fabric panels on walls or ceiling to cut down on the echo in the place. There were only 4 people in the room, and I felt it was uncomfortablly loud. I can't imagine if the place was packed. The food was okay. The cheesesteak to bun ratio was off...too much bread for the amount of cheese steak. Fries were good, and the tea was adequate. read more

Came here for pre-dinner when the place wasn't busy. The decor is bare as it gets and makes you feel like you're in the "cheap food" area within an amusement park. For the food, the tl;dr description is that they are a bit sugary. I ordered "hot" wings, yet they tasted like BBQ wings with little spice kick. Cole slaw had a very sweet aftertaste. This review teeters between a 3 and 4... the food was pretty good and very reasonably priced. We got 20 wings, fries and drink for about $13. The wings were kinda small though but very flavorful. We got just regular buffalo with medium heat. And they were HOT! Well hot for me, and I tend to like spicy food. I'm not saying this was a bad thing, just warning you :). Keep in mind that the restaurant is more of a take out style, meaning you should probably take your order to go. The wings are smaller than most wings i've had so I'd order around 15-20. This was the worst place ever. They got my order wrong three times. I had to wait at least 40 minutes. There is no refund on your money in or out of the store once you purchase the food. No one speaks English except for one lady at the register. The black young lady was very nice and apologized a LOT. I went to wing city today and even though it had bad review I wanted to try it out for myself. I ordered 10 wings for myself and a order of catfish for my grandfather. The wings were good but very small, I think they got the chicken wings mixed up with hummingbird wings. And the catfish was good also but very small and thin, think they got the catfish mixed up with the bait because they looked like minnows. I ate my meal and had to m as me myself a hamburger because the meals were so small. I am not big about 185lbs and this was the smallest wings and catfish I have ever ordered. Do not go here unless you want a appetizer to go with a meal. Nice place to get a appetizer from. Will not be back. read more
