You have a choice between french fries or baked potato. And you get a small container of slaw and a very small container of tartar sauce but they will bring you more. Plus two hush puppies. I was pleased with all of it. The deviled crab was heavy on the stuffing and light on the crab but it still tasted good and not dry. This restaurant has been considered a local favorite for many many years. I do recommend trying them out.

While stationed there at Fort Benning back in 1986-1987 for school and my final duty assignment, a fellow soldier friend insisted on taking my wife and me to dinner. It was so delicious that I vowed to return one day. And yes, I've been back to Columbus on several occasions, but never found the time to patronize Ezell's again. But I did this time, and it was just like I remembered it. Oh, and did I mention it was busy with locals? I think what was my favorite part of this meal was their homemade tartar sauce, which was very mild and accompanied the catfish perfectly. It was a wonderful experience, and being able to once again return to this fixture of Columbus. Five stars for wonderful service and delicious catfish...and all the sides that came with the filets.
