I visited WingMan during Food Truck Fridays of Summer 2026 (though it was a Thursday) at Reno, NV and wanted to leave a review! I appreciate the prices being clearly listed as most food trucks don't do this nowadays and the man taking my order was kind. The photo doesn't do it justice, but this bowl was huge and filled to the brim with all the fixings. I was sharing this with my partner, but don't think I could have finished this all by myself! The flavors were good and thought the quantity matched what I spent. If you see WingMan in your area, give them a shot!

Came here today while at the Grounds in Roseville for some food and wow this place was impressive. Really like the staff here they are very friendly and what a great burger for 16 bucks and you don't have to drive you really can't beat it!! Also the lemonade is really good!!

The burger was juicy and had great flavor, and the wings were crispy and well-seasoned without being over the top. You can tell they know what they're doing. Amazing food, great service. They were super efficient and didn't make you feel rushed even though they had a pretty big line (which speaks to their food quality and taste!) Can't go wrong with the big bird fries but next time I want to try one of their smash burgers.

I encountered the wingman truck tonight at the All American Speedway. Let me tell you, the moment you step up to this beautiful truck Mohammed makes you feel like family. Hes so nice. He listens and he really wants you to enjoy your meal. I had the chicken sandwich with fries and drink. The chicken was fried perfectly and was juicy and delicious. The sandwich was huge, fresh and absolutely delicious. The fries were hit and cooked perfectly. I liked the cajun spice on them as well. Ill definitely eat here again. I'll start by saying I did not eat the food but it looked delicious. Friday 10/17 I had taken my husband to Sutter hospital in Sacramento. I'm temporarily in a wheelchair and haven't driven since 2021 until last week. At Sutter we received the news that my husbands heart required surgery immediately. I was not able to stay so i drove home (40ish miles). I was a mess with his diagnosis and not knowing how I was going to get the wheelchair out of the car. Here comes the Wing Man part of the story. The food truck was in front of our apartments. I asked if anyone could help me and they immediately responded with help. AJ followed me and took care of me. Our car is new and I hadn't driven in the dark and didn't know the dashboard very well. He helped with everything and wheeled me to my apartment. He asked if I was hungry and was going to help with that too! I had eaten at the hospital. Character matters and this young man is remarkable. I will track down this food truck because if they have someone with that much caring and integrity their food must be delicious. A+ Wingman! read more

We spent the weekend @thegrounds Roseville for a tournament. There were lots of food options and this was the only place we ate all weekend long!! They were super accommodating when I wanted to switch out sauces on my smash burger. The BBQ sauces is 10/10! My daughter was obsessed with the chicken on a bun. We had some bites from this food truck while attending the Marley Brothers Legacy Tour concert at Toyota Pavilion in Concord this past Tuesday. There was a line to order, but the wait wasn't too bad, and our order was ready in about 15 minutes or so. Staff was friendly and provided sufficient service. We got the spicy bbq chicken sandwich and loaded fries with regular bbq sauce, and ranch on the side. Both of these items were saucy and had a similar level of spiciness (even though we ordered one spicy and one not), and the chicken was juicy and delicious. I particularly liked the unique combination of flavors in the loaded fries, piled high and topped with mac n cheese and jalapenos. The quality of ingredients could be better (ie. the cheese and fries were reminiscent of what I used to get in my high school cafeteria), but it was satisfying enough to enjoy picnic style at the event we attended. read more

Wingman was hands down one of the best food trucks at our kids' basketball tournament! We tried the smash burger and the mega fries, and both were absolutely delicious. The burger was cooked perfectly with great flavor, and the mega fries were loaded and so good. The customer service was just as impressive as the food. Having tried their food ever since they opened their very first truck around 2013, I've been a fan ever since. And hence the name "hefty" means you are going to get a hefty amount of food that will undoubtedly fill you up. One very cool thing is that they're locally owned (out of Sacramento) and serve at many major events. This includes being at Golden 1 Center, FoodieLand, SactoMoFo, California State Fair as well as offering their truck at weddings, festivals, caterings, charities, and corporate events. I ended up eating here after checking out the all-new "Citrus Heights Food Truck Plaza" (off of Auburn Blvd/Twin Oaks Ave) which debuted in July 2026. Much to my delight, I parked in the small dedicated lot and proceeded to check out several other food trucks before settling with Hefty Gyros. As for the menu itself, it is simple yet very effective. They offer a variation of pitas (falafel for the vegetarians as well as chicken & beef/lamb), rice plates, fries (available in plain, Cajun, or Greek), hummus, and Baklava. Drinks are your standard canned soft drinks as well as a lemonade-strawberry beverage; perfect for the hot days. Since I arrived on an empty stomach (which was during the evening on Saturday 8/15/2026 at 6:00pm), I went with their "Mixed Rice Plate". This monstrosity comes fully loaded with both chicken and gyro meat over brown basmati rice, side of salad, and hummus spread in two pita breads. I complete my meal with one of their "Lemonade-Strawberry" drinks. After making my payment, I was handed a small pager (that would beep when my order was ready). In less than 5 minutes, my food was ready. And since I was talking with the owner/manager for a few minutes while telling him how legit their food has been over the years, he even throws in a complimentary "Baklava" to enjoy! Once proceeding to the cozy seating area (which was well-shaded) for maximum enjoyment, I opened the container as this packaging was loaded with pure deliciousness. And the weight was indeed hefty as this more than likely weighed in at nearly 1 lb! They did not skimp on the meat while the sauces were freely flowing while covering the salad, rice, and fries. Even as hungry as I was, I had to have my lady help finish this plate. All in all, this mixed rice plate hit all the high notes for me; savory, filling, and very delicious.
