    Tri tip sandwich and tots

Great flavor. Not very hot. Friendly service. Didn't have a long wait time. My favorite were the tots. Love the crispness of them! They came to my place of work for the employees to grab a quick lunch without having to leave. Thank you!

    More cheese please
    Linda J.

OK, I've heard that their grilled cheeses are really good. That is not a true statement. I hardly had any cheese on my sandwich. I added bacon and they put bacon crumbles on it. The sandwich was not worth the $11 plus price that I paid very disappointing come on. Let's have put some cheese on that sandwich.

Tots are clearly listed as $8.00, why did they change $10?!

DISHONEST!! Just got ROBBED by Drewski's Food Truck at a car show in Vallejo. The Famous Tots were listed at $8 + tax, so I ordered one order and gave the attendant a $20 bill. He only handed me back a $10 in change. I asked why I only received $10 back in change, and the attendant said he had charged tax. The tax rate here is 9.75%, so the total cost should have been $8.78. I stated that the tax couldn't possibly be 20% and the attendant said they charge more for cash. I handed him a credit card to pay instead and asked for my cash back. He ended up charging my card for $9.79. I asked my friends who were with me how much they paid for their food from the truck. It turned out they had charged them each $20 for an item listed as $16. My friends didn't catch it because they had their children go up and pay. Wow. I went back to the truck and told the attendant they had charged me more than the listed price. The attendant said the prices in front were not their correct and they had new prices, they just hadn't updated their menu. I told him that it is illegal to charge more than your listed price. He just grimaced at me and did nothing. I really don't care about one dollar, I just don't like dishonesty. And charging more than your listed price is illegal, immoral, and a really crummy thing to do, especially to little kids!

    Grilled cheese and French fries

31$ for a grilled cheese and a small portion of French fries from a food truck. That also took way too long to make my food. When they also had nobody in line? One of their main advertisements was tater tots and they're also not even doing them on this particular day for some reason? Outrageous. On another note I witnessed the dude making the food not wearing gloves while cooking but also eating the food too? This place is unsanitary and a rip. Don't come here.

Tri tip sandwich with garlic tots $25+
    Jackson T.

It's been 10+ years since I've tried drewskis. The food was good and decent enough. But the price was high. $17 for a tri tip sandwich and $8 for tator tots. I don't have a big problem with the price, but wanted others to be aware. For just my plate, I paid $30 including tax and tip. I wanted to try food from here again more for nostalgias sake than anything. Food was still good, but I don't think I'll buy from here ever again, just because I can get the same or better elsewhere, and for cheaper. I was at the Friday concerts in the park so decided this was the place I wanted to buy food from. Service seemed cold. Not friendly, but not rude either. The was only 1 person ahead of me and maybe 2 costumers behind me looking at the menu, so there wasn't a big crowd or rush or anything. Food came out fast, and when I did ask for extra aioli, did catch a bit of "attitude". But still got the sauce. Overall, 3 stars for the experience and food.

Loaded tater tots, fries, chicken sandwich, BLT, and grilled cheese

Who knew Drewski had a small brick and mortar restaurant. It's small, like 5 tables but at least you don't have to figure where their trucks will be parked. We just got takeout for lunch and the food didn't disappoint. Well, except the grilled cheese sandwich. Could have made it better at home. However, everything else was delicious. The chicken sandwich was crispy and tender. Their coleslaw was different. It was flavorful and not drenched in mayo. The only negative was it had two chicken strips instead of one patty so be prepared for a little mess, lol. Fries were crisped to perfection!

At Bradshaw Animal Shelter today to fundraise
    Kristen H.

Here at Bradshaw Animal Shelter today (Sac County shelter). Good unique food for a good price and good cause. 10% goes to the shelter today. Great food, great service, and highly rated apparently, says one of the best trucks in the nation. They're stationed at McClellan Air Force base for future reference. The Hemi seen below has sweet pulled pork, Mac and cheese, onions if you want, and I believe cheddar cheese on buttered sourdough. It tastes exactly as described which is awesome.

    Tricycle Sandwich and Fries

Grilled Cheese Food Truck Fries - 6.5/10 A slight cheese taste (probably placebo), nicely salty. I like the crunch and freshness of the fries. Tricycle (Three Cheese Grilled Cheese) - 6/10 The grilled cheese is pleasantly sweet and buttery, works well together. Not a big fan about the monterey cheese buts that's my personal taste. Cheese pull was amazing, literally oozing. I added some Tajín and it made both so good, definitely recommend (and the fries with the grilled cheese is good too)

Alright (cracks knuckles), here's the thing. It's fine, with the potential to be a bit better. Snapshot: - Fries - Yes, 7/10, fantastically seasoned. - Prices - N/A, it's 'food truck' pricing. Deal w/it. - Chicken - maybe...not dry, so that's a good thing Ok, the lowdown: Fries were good, crispy and seasoned very very well. Chicken was moist, and tasted like chicken. It's the batter that was a bit disappointing. It was, bland? Moderately crispy? I didn't expect the fries to outshine the chicken though. A quick fix, add a bit of the fry seasoning to the batter mix before the deep fry. Or, sprinkle a bit of dust as soon as it's taken out of the fryer. --also, this isn't a spicy chicken truck. Not mad at it per se, just needed to adjust my expectations. Honorable mention: - that aioli is pretty fire, ngl. Should've gotten (2) - the guy that took my order was pretty dope too, so that's a strong positive ;) Overall: get the fries, dip in aioli, go take a nap.

    Hot dog. Yep, indeed.

I'm a few days late on this review, met these guys this last weekend at a local Sports Card and autograph event. I was excited to hear they would be there as I'd been wanting to try them for years now. Limited menu but still got a sample of what they have to offer. Ordered their pulled pork sandwich (to share, which was a faulty idea). I ate my half and wanted more, so grabbed a hotdog. The pork sandwich was yummy, I had it open faced because the brioche bun was pretty ...significant. The hot dog was just as advertised. I think the icing on the cake was meeting the owner. Friendly owner? I'm here for it! Kudos on the biz.

pulled pork sando with mac n cheese and grilled onion

While attending a food truck event I remembered how long it had been since I had Drewski's and the memories came poring back to me. The menu was semi limited for a special after hours event; however, we both ordered the same meal the pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich and tots. The grilled cheese pulled pork sandwich came with both mac n cheese and grilled onions in addition to the grilled cheese. The bread was toasted perfectly, and was packed with cheesy goodness. To my surprise we received garlic tots. No complaint here as I enjoy garlic! These were not to heavily coated with garlic on top, but it was clearly in the oil they used to fry them up. There's nothing better than a nice crisp grilled cheese, or a crispy tot. The pork was very flavorful, with a sweetness to it.

Opted to try the HEMI, and it was Heavenly! Can't go wrong w anything in their menu. Give it a try!

So that's exactly what we did. For my sandwich I chose the Corti special. Basically you're able to choose your bread the toppings and some of the other condiments but you are not able to choose your mean. The person making your sandwich decides what they're going to put in it based on the different toppings and condiments you add to your sandwich. I will say that the service was quite quick there were four other people ahead of me and I will say I probably got my sandwich within 7 to 9 minutes. This was perfect time for me because I had never been to this specialty store before so I took that time to browse the area and the different aisles to understand what were some of the things sold there. I will say the space was surprisingly filled with items that were extremely high quality but reasonably priced. Also all the individuals working there were quite friendly they said hi and asked if I needed any help or assistance multiple times from different people. Now the sandwich itself I will say it did live up to the hype that was being tossed around all of Instagram. It was just so high quality when it came to the ingredients the bread was super fresh and each bite just had the perfect balance of meat to bread to condiment ratio. I highly recommend coming to try one of these sandwiches and one thing I didn't say earlier was at 9:00 a.m. it is not that packed so you definitely can get it early and again have it for your lunch later on.

Then walk around the store and pick up delicious cheeses, charcuterie meats, snacks, and fresh pasta. Their ravioli is pretty famous and reminds me of an upgraded version of the nostalgic soft, square beef raviolis that I grew up eating. If you don't want to commit to the entire box of take-home ravioli, you can buy it by smaller tubs from the deli. After 20-30 mins, your sandwich should be ready for pickup. The workers there are so friendly and provide great service. They genuinely seem to like their jobs. We got one guy helping us out from one end of the deli to the other end and he was so patient and happy the entire time. There was a sweet lady handing out cheese samples as well. Everything I tried was so delicious. I especially loved how thin they slice the charcuterie meats where they are translucent when held up to the light. Can't wait to go back for their fresh pastas and homemade sauces.
