The portions are yuuuuge so over the course of time my sister & I learned that we can split a 10 piece boneless order and STILL have leftovers! The only thing that make the wings complete is the fries. Oh, the garlic parmesan fries!! They really are to die for and my mouth is watering just talking about them. They are the best anywhere, hands down! We loooove us some sweet Thai chili and we get extra for dipping. My niece gets the 3 piece tender meal and never finishes it all. I finally got to check out the new Sterling Heights Wing Snob today, or at least the outside of it ... everything is carryout / curbside now with COVID. I have been to their Southfield location before and everything was very good. Today they were offering 5 free boneless wings, no purchase necessary, but I also ordered some garlic parmesan fries online. When I arrived, they had a separate car "lane" for the free wings, and you could choose either Honey BBQ or Jamaican Jerk; I can't do spice, so I chose Honey BBQ. I mentioned that I had placed a curbside online order, and the "wing man" said for me to pull around and they'd have it out for me shortly - as soon as I pulled back into a space, someone else was out with my fries. Super fast service! Everyone was wearing masks and gloves, too, which I appreciated. The wings were nice and juicy. The sauce was served on the side, but I'm guessing that normally it's tossed in sauce. My favorite wing place recently has been Detroit Wing Company, in Troy, and these were comparable to those wings, although I like DWC's Honey BBQ flavor a bit more; this flavor was sweeter than DWC's. The garlic parmesan fries were DELICIOUS and I will be ordering those again at some point. From the pics I've seen on Yelp, this Wing Snob location has a nice big dine-in area, so I'll definitely be back at some point to dine-in, once restaurants have re-opened. It's about a 15-minute drive from my house, which is a little bit closer than the Southfield location (and that one is more of a carryout place, anyways; it does have seating but it's very limited). Love it. Great wings, fast service, and friendly staff. Everything is fantastic here and there's plenty of options to keep everyone happy. Anything from boneless, tenders, traditional and even cauliflower wings! You for sure get a lot of bang for your buck at wing snob. Iam surprisingly impressed, we happened to stop in coincidentally while in the plaza. I must say the food is really really good, I usually avoid chicken due to hormones, preservatives etc but the mini chicken sandwiches in garlic parm sauce is delicious . We went back several time and we were highly satisfied. It takes a little Longer than a regular take out but well worth it plus it doesn't have that frozen after taste that some places have. Tried out this new place, new for me, and I can be quite picky when it comes to wings. Buffalo Wild Wings is ok, I like some of the Wingstop stuff, and I love Detroit Wing Company. This place I tried for pick up. It looks very clean and they're popping up all over the Detroit metro area. I got pick up and the place looks very clean. The employees are nice and ordering online was very easy. The few things I don't like are personal so it varies with folks. It's a Pepsi place so that's a knock from me. I like Coca-Cola so there's that. The ranch dressing for me was subpar as compared to others. I like naked wings with ranch mostly. The offerings I only tried 2 and one was disappointing for me and one was surprisingly good. The garlic Parmesan was so so. Not great. It's good. But that's my go to wing flavor. The sweet chili was surprisingly very good. It's kind of like a general tso type that was good. I don't get fries at these place because they're all terrible. Not to be confused with your typical sporty corporate wing spot, this place is bright, casual, and fun! Very inviting, you don't feel to cramped or close to other tables next to you. Wing snob offers the greatest value of the major wing chains in metro Detroit (Buffalo wild wings, Wingstop). Their wings are meaty, not little nuggets like you're used to getting at Buffalo Wild Wings. Honestly 6 boneless wings is probably the equivalent to 15 boneless in sheer mass of their competitors. They have a healthy selection of sauces too, my fiancé always gets honey bbq and I love their wing snobby sauce. A tangy bbq that is like a sweeter version of open pit. I also recently tried their chicken and waffles sauce, which is basically maple syrup, nonetheless still good. Ok, new wing place in town, gotta try it right? Well.... I'll give you my take. Tried to call my order ahead as they have been open a few weeks and I thought they would be busy. Tried 4 times all with no answer.. but I was on a quest for some wings so I drove up to place my order, I was surprised pulling in to see 3 cars, not want I would call busy! Go inside, 2 customers eating and 1 waiting on an order. I place my order and let the employee know I had tried to call and she said they are slammed, eh ok? Ordered a 12 pc 50:50 which is half traditional and half boneless, for my sauces I went Garlic Parmesan and Snobby-Q. During my relatively short 10 minute wait I was able to dial the phone number again to make sure the phone in fact did ring and they did in fact work although that was the only time they rang during my 10-15 minute order/wait time (so much for being slammed). On to the wings, not a larger wing like I'd expect from a wing specialty place, more on the size of B-Dubs which I consider small on the scale. Garlic Parmesan sauce is literally like it states on the menu, garlic butter and Parmesan cheese, nothing like other wing places. Snobby-Q tastes like a mix of traditional buffalo sauce and some open pit, was not impressed with that either. Ranch was the runny restaurant style everyone loves. Also had a slice of cornbread and for $2 they are making a killing on it, The slice was smaller than the receipt. For a franchise wing place this is a real challenge in my opinion. When we are looking at the menu the wings are a little more expensive than Wingstop, both Wing Snob and Wingstop feature many different sauces in both tossed and dryrub wings and to me what puts these two places at the top, fresh never frozen wings. They feature different styles of fries like wingstop and sides are similar. Wing Snob features really nice deserts, sliders and corn bread, which might give them the edge for me. Wings were great, juicy inside and crisp outside. Fries had nice flavor. Cannot say anything bad about this place. The wings here are out of this world but this service is absolutely awful. Every single time I order, if it's not the owner (great guy), I'm treated with such disrespect. As a service worker myself, I take pride in being the most pleasant, easy going customer I possibly can because I know what it's like to be on the other side of the counter. We used to get wings here so often but lately I'm hesitant and often choose other options because the service is so unbelievably awful. I have no idea what I've done to deserve such treatment as I go out of my way to be nice even while being treated poorly. If you don't like people, DONT WORK IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY! So, after my last "meh" review of Wing Snob, I decided it wasn't fair to judge them by their sorry, mediocre blue cheese dressing, even though they allegedly pride themselves on being "wing snobs." So I decided to place an order of wings that didn't require blue cheese dressing and decided to try a different location. So I came to this location and ordered garlic parmesan wings. What could go wrong? Plenty. I open the box and immediately notice two things. First, the wings were noticeably smaller than the Madison Heights location. Second, there was no sauce smearing the paper that lined the box. There was, however, a dusting of parmesan cheese. Ok.... I know the menu said garlic parm sauce, but maybe it's more a rub than a sauce. I take a bite. NOPE. They completely forgot to sauce the wings. Now, if the wings weren't completely overcooked, this may have been tolerable. But they WERE completely overcooked, with no tasty sauce to help disguise the fact that they were dried out. And I assure you, the dusting of parmesan cheese didn't compensate for a ^%$#@! thing. read more

Placed an online order recently for pick-up. I arrived about 5 minutes before my scheduled pick-up. I was the only customer at the time. I waited 5 minutes over what the scheduled pick-up time when the food was supposed to be ready. The employee I talked with was very nice and had a good attitude (hard to find these days at fast casual restaurants). The employee checked the receipt before handing me my order and then I headed home. When I got home I realized they forgot to give me my bottle of pop which I paid extra for so I did not have to get a fountain drink. Kind of annoyed, being that she read over the receipt first and likely saw this and was too lazy to go get me the rest of my order. I don't know what else to think because my order was just 1 meal deal. I should have checked my order before I left but it started storming so my goal was to just get home. The order provided ample amount of veggies, but it came with no dipping sauce? I am not sure if this standard or if it should have come with something. My meal deal consisted of 50/50 wings. 4 boneless and 4 traditional. I only received 1 wing, when it makes 100% sense that I should have received 2 wings based on what I ordered, so yet again not satisfied. The boneless wings were HUGE. The traditional wings were the size of my pinkie. Very SMALL. Not worth the up charge for getting traditional wings, which you will see listed on their menu when you order certain meals. I was actually surprised to see how small this wings were based on their given name of "Wing Snob" My wings had Parmesan garlic and buffalo sauce. I did like the sauces. I know the buffalo sauce is probably not spicy enough for some, but I did not totally mind it. Sometimes I don't want such spicy food. They don't seem to have very many spicy sauces. The Buffalo sauce was rated 1 fire flame, and then there were two more rated more fire flames than this sauce. I ate this meal with my boyfriend who also ordered a meal. They also forgot items in his order which was also small, and the fries he ordered were severely under cooked to the point of being raw. I'm a fry fan, but wing places need to stop making them because they generally suck and this place did not change my mind on that. I don't know how busy it was or not. Only two customers popped in while I was there. Overall, I am disappointed in the lack of quality of the food. It sure seems to be there but the cook failed to execute successfully. There was a spot online telling me the pickup procedure (call when you arrive and they will bring it out) so that was nice. I scheduled my pickup for 4:30, arrived around 4:25. I called, and they brought my food right out. It was hot and smelled amazing! I ordered a boneless meal (buffalo sauce) and garlic parm fries, my husband had 6 tenders with chili cheese fries. I also ordered a side of ranch, and spicy ranch. I live about 10 min away. When I got home, everything was still nice a hot. Food was all packaged really well. The boneless wings were massive. A few were stringy, but nothing that made them impossible to eat or to keep me from ordering again. The buffalo sauce was really nice, and then wings were not drenched in sauce. The garlic parm fries were SOO good. Next time I order, I'm getting my wings in the garlic parm. It was buttery and garlicy and cheesy! So good! My husbands tenders were good. He liked his chili cheese fries. He picked the teriyaki sauce and Jamacian jerk. He liked the teriyaki. The jerk sauce wasn't bad, but it wasn't out of this world. The ranch is "good ranch" and the spicy ranch was that same, but spicy. Both were really great. I saved whatever I had left to use them on something else at home. I didn't want to waste good ranch. I was at Wing Snob a week or so ago with a group of people. I love chicken wings and am a bit of a snob about them. I was VERY IMPRESSED! The bone-in wings are large and meaty, the boneless wings are meaty and what you expect them to be. As far as sauces go, so many to pick from, if you place your order at Wing Snob, you can test the sauces. I went with their house sauce, Wing Snob sauce, which is tomato based and a pleasant vinegary taste, like a Kansas City type sauce. The 2nd sauce was the Sweet Chili, when trying it alone (on tester spoon) it had a kick, when tossed on the wings, it was a perfect blend of sweet and spicy. I ordered the bone-in wings, did not try the boneless, but those in the group that did order boneless wings said they were very happy. I like that Wing Snob doesn't gunk up the wings with lots of batter. They make each order fresh, to order. No precooked, sitting around wings. They also offer dry rub instead of or with sauces. The seasoned fries are a winner. The prices are comprable to other places I've been, But, the quality is above par. Ok, now to the OH MY part, I ordered a slice of Superman Cheesecake, OH MY! It was too good for words. I share the slice with the group, and as each person tried a bite, the look on their faces and the way their eyes lit up was priceless. They have traditional wings, boneless and even sliders. I highly recommend the garlic Parmesan fries, they are amazing!
