Their Chipotle Ranch, Blazin Cajun and Honey BBQ boneless wings have been my go-to comfort food. One day I picked up wing world for a get-together at a friend's house and to my embarrassment, we found that they gave me literal chicken nuggets covered in sauce. There have also been times that the nuggets were barely covered in chipotle ranch. Wing World's jumbo wings are actually verrrry good. Honey chipotle is the best flavor, by far, with mango habenero following in second place. We have ordered delivery multiple times and have been pleased every time. Delivery always comes faster than expected, and the wings are always piping hot. We always order the original, and the wings are consistently large, juicy, and hot. Flavors we have tried include: honey chipotle, mango habenero, chipotle ranch, sweet & spicy, kickin' bbq (which was way too spicy), lemon pepper dry rub (boring), honey bbq, and who knows what else. If you're trying their wings for the first time, I would definitely recommend honey chipotle. We have had their fries and potato skins before as well, and they were all right. If you're trying Wing World for the first time, get the original jumbo wings (in honey chipotle or mango habenero). I can't believe this place did not disappoint. My expectations were sooooooo low. They proved me wrong. It's known I'm a sucker for hot stuff and I live Wings. I wanted either wings or a plain cheese quesadilla (not a Mexican style quesadilla). Only place I came up with was Wing World, which I had no faith in but I took a gamble. Figuring one would suck. It took about 10 minutes for my to go order. The girl who took the order was sweet and helpful. I even saw her check my order once it was up to guarantee my sauces etc were packed. I got to the car and planned on racing home to eat it but that Atomic Wings sauce smell was intoxicating and screaming "Eat Me". Who can resist that. The sauce on the wings was the perfect heat. I wouldn't call them crispy which is disappointing since there was no lag time from the fryer to my stomach. Though crispy wing are hard to find in my research. The sauce and blue cheese really made this. I got that light sweat going nose almost running but you can still taste everything. Price was reasonable to $5.99 for 5 Wings ain't bad. My quesadilla was perfect and huge. Large flour tortilla with just ooey gooey cheese and lots of it. Salsa and sour cream on the side, all for 4.99. I couldn't possibly eat this all but that dilla will heat up great when I'm craving something plain and un-fancy. My only issue is with the cliental. It was filled with teens who just got out of new Dorp high school all sharing like 1 french fry, lounging across tables and chairs. They felt so comfy one couple was dry jumping in the chair. When I first walked into this place my thoughts were " this is to pricey " tonight was my second time going and I ordered a 10 piece wings ( medium ) , two orders of curly fries, 5 piece ( mild ) and a order of chicken quesadillas! I feel like the food is this price because it's actually GOOD it doesn't taste like it came from a box in the freezer. I have no problem paying for great food. Alsolet me tell you!! I never eat quesadillas because I feel like they taste weird and are always gross when I try them. But this place right here definitely changed my thought on that! I had wings from Wing World on New Years and thought they were pretty good. They were fresh, somewhat crunchy and the sauces on the wings were on point. They have a variety of different sauces. We picked reg mild and honey BBQ this time. Although overly sauced and messy, they were tasty. When we picked up our order, the place is pretty clean. The staff behind the counter was nice and helpful. Overall, both times we had a pretty good experience. I must say I find this place better then most wings places on the island. They close at 11, I walk in at 10:55 pm, there patrons in the place eating, sign says "open" while the girl from the counter barely looks up from scrolling on her phone to tell me they are closed and cannot serve me wings which takes a few min to prepare. They unapologetically gave me a cheeseburger without any lettuce, tom, and pickles after a twenty five minute wait. I used to order here OFTEN. I used to order just one combo of ten wings lemon pepper with their fries and then I'd get a side of chipotle ranch but then i started getting a 5 piece combo along with a regular 5 piece so that I could get two sauces. It's like a dollar difference. I hate the fact that you only get one sauce with 10 wings, it wouldn't hurt them to change that policy, it'd probably help business. Anyway, I stopped eating here a long time ago. One night I ordered the usual ^ 5 piece combo lemon pepper and 5 piece wings only chipotle ranch. Every single time I ordered from them, my notes were always the same, extra crispy well done. When it comes to wings, I cannot eat them if they're soft or mushy, they have to be very crispy. I also hate ginormous drumettes, they freak me out. So for this order I put in a note asking them not to send me any of their huge drumettes, because more often than not they end up throwing them in and they go to waste. I never asked for only flats, in fact they have an option for that and it costs extra. I literally just asked for them not to send me chicken drums the size of my face. When my food arrived, i kid you not, BOTH of my containers contained ONLY HUGE DRUMETTES. All of them barely crispy, barely well done. They didn't send me any flats AT ALL. I honestly thought it was a joke. I've worked in restaurants before and I know how chefs can get when they get a request that seems annoying. I KNEW they did it on purpose. When I called them it was already their closing time, whoever I spoke with insisted they didn't do it on purpose but I didn't believe them then and I still don't now lol. For there to be a note asking for the kitchen not to put a certain item in my order, and then for me to have received an order full of that specific item ONLY? I didn't even eat it, I was so grossed out. They couldn't send me a new order because they were already closing so the manager put a "free 10 pc" on my account, which was a lie. I later found out when I tried to redeem the promo that it was only a 10% discount, which is basically pointless. Great wings. Big, meaty, well cooked. A variety of sauces to try. Delivery is super quick. And they do smart things like puncturing the food containers to let some of the steam out so your wings/fries/onion rings stay relatively crispy. Food always comes hot.
