Came in with a buddy on Tuesday night at 8pm for karaoke night! Fun fact- if you sing three songs, you get to spin the wheel for a chance to get a free shot or discounted drinks. I ordered the rocky balboa cheesesteak- peppers, mozzarella, chopped steak, gravy on the side. The gravy was the best part, not salty and I somewhat regret only having it on the side (I have a thing with sauces). We left at around 1030pm and it was really a poppin' place. Lots of singers, good vibes, people singing along

The food was so delicious and very tasty! Especially the chicken wings. I must say the chicken was my favorite. Service was on point. I am definitely coming back here again for happy hour :)

Been here a couple of times. Love the atmosphere and beer - such a fun spot! Service was friendly as well. We split a notorious MAC and while the burger itself was good, the Mac and cheese on top of it was cold. Tots were standard, but good. One of the times we came we did the Scooby-Doo flight where you have to guess which beer you're served, which was a fun twist! Would return for more beer and to try a different burger.

Food: Classic burger and steak like fries. Burger meat was a little raw and burger overall was a bit dry and cheese didn't seem melted all the way on the burger meat. The burger was a little hard to bite into. Fries were okay but needed some salt for taste. Service: A bit nonexistent. I'll say it is semi busy and it seems there's mainly one person working while bartending/serving food? Maybe more who knows... waited 10-15min tops to be seated and was informed I could sit anywhere. I just followed the rules of the sign and patiently waited. Service itself I forget how long I waited for food but I wasn't too worried about it. Not once did the server/bartender check in & see how I was doing or how my food tasted. Could be due to how busy it is in the restaurant. And I'm waiting maybe about 15+min for the check. Vibes: Dive bar/hangout/arcade place. A bit more upscale and nicer. Some fun games to play like the simpsons, skeeball, and ms. Pac-Man. Other -Only received 4 napkins for my meal but it was enough. -I got one refill on my water and it had a fly/bug in it. It's pictured in my review but hard to see/capture it. Almost makes me question the cleanliness of this place and frequency of bussing tables. -15+ min wait just to get the check is ridiculous. Thankfully I'm not in a rush or be anywhere otherwise I wouldn't have eaten here. -Don't come here if you're expecting to be in/out in a timely manner. If you have time to relax and enjoy a drink, visit this place. -Server/bartender is taking photos of themselves and distracted by her phone. A bit unprofessional when you have customers around. -$19.60 for a single classic burger (meat cheese bun, but the classic comes with typical burger toppings) and a side of fries + water is a rip off.

I am so happy my friends recommended this spot. We came here for dinner, just before the lantern festival. We ordered the octoberfest beer, wings, cauliflower, bacon and cheese fries, Mac n cheese with pulled pork, and mozzarella. It was all delicious. The sauce on the cauliflower was amazing and I used it on my wings. It went perfectly together. We had very little leftovers and it did not leave you filling too stuffed. It was a chill environment and the waitress was super friendly. I definitely recommend you pay a visit.

    3-Hour Open Bar & Karaoke + 3 Appetizers = Fun & Memorable Night w/ Friends.

Booked a 3-hour Open Bar + 3-hour Karaoke + 3 Appetizers @ HopShoppe in early May w/ my friends/co-workers & had a total blast. Making party arrangements w/ Crystal was easy & stress-free. She gave a clear & concise breakdown of the charges we were to incur based on what services we wanted. She always answered whenever I had questions or clarifications. We were given the back room where the Karaoke was set up. We were allowed to hang our own decorations. Our party room had plenty of tables & chairs, a pool table along w/ skee ball, pinball machines and some arcade games which added to the fun experience. For the appetizers, we had the general tso's cauliflower, empanadas & chicken wings which were kept warm on sterno racks throughout the party. Drinks served were of a variety & were really good. Staff attending to us were very attentive. Service was warm, friendly & reasonably priced. Great gang + great venue & service. Overall, we had a wonderful night. Would definitely do this kind of party again at Hop Shoppe & would highly recommend others to try it too. Hop Shoppe did not disappoint us & definitely provided the props for me & my gang to make great memories & have the fun night that we deserved.

I've ordered pickup multiple times and generally think their burgers are ok. Decided to dine in with a few friends on a quiet, Saturday evening for dinner. What a mistake. 1. My cheesesteak was burnt with barely any meat. One half of my sandwich was essentially a cheese sandwich. See photo. 2. One of my friends food was 10-15 min late. No explanation, no follow up. My friend had to GET UP and walk over to ask for his food. 3. Another friend ordered a side does, received the incorrect one. 4. Nachos as an appetizer was served with stale, old chips. 5. Our water was never refilled. Upon asking for more, we were served with a jug of lukewarm tap water with no ice. (This is in July, on a hot Summer day) 6. Upon receiving our check, we had to raise our hands like school kids to get a group of waiters and servers, chatting away to get anyone's attention. My friend eventually just walked up to our waitress with the bill. Do better. My perception of this place has definitely changed after this horrible experience.

Server was great, very attentive and patient. The lighting indoors was dim and the outdoor patio looked nice as well. There is an arcade in the back with 10-15 arcade games, slightly narrow pathway and would be harder to navigate if it was more crowded. We went on a Monday evening so it wasn't too bad. For food, we had the steak and chicken tacos - I definitely recommend the steak. The burgers were also very flavorful and good quality overall. We had a good time overall. Truly no complaints.

The Hop Shoppe is an above-average restaurant that serves that "higher" quality food that you would expect than say, an Applebees. For the high prices they charge, fortunately you will also be served higher quality meals. Excellent food overall, can't complain. A single burger from here cost about $22 with tax, and I have to say that it was quite good. The caramelized onions along with the brioche bun made the burger the perfect combination. The wings were average spicy wings, but I simply can't order from here too often simply because they charge $10 for a side of fries. Like, if you charge $10, I should receive much more fries. $10 for a small container of waffle fries? What are they, nuts? Attached is the picture of the waffle fries, and you tell me if you'd pay $10 for a container of them. All in all, the burgers were, as expected, high quality burgers with excellent amounts of sauce. I was confused however, when my "cheeseburger" didn't come with cheese, as I had the option to add cheese for extra $$. Unsure why the option to add cheese to your cheeseburger order exists. If they meant extra cheese, then that got lost in translation. Overall, no outlier complaints here, and the positives outweigh the minor negatives. Cost per person here is easily $20-$50+, so make sure your wallet is ready and keep expectations high. Therefore, 5/5 for me.

As I walked into the Hop Shoppe, the old days of Fun Time USA with my father floated through my mind. As my eyes wander following the pin ball as it's hitting the bumpers for long period of time, and the skeeball scoring, the basketball missing and making the hoop. Childhood memories floated in the air with good old times and a glass of beer. Can't leave here without some grub in the belly. The irony of combining gold fish and Mac and cheese can be quite wonderful. The different crazy combination of different adventurous meats and produce in the delicious 8 oz patties can be quite delightful. The outrageous out of the box thinking that floats in the chefs mind is marvelous as I indulge in cuban egg rolls and Reuben dumplings. The wings were a miss and I should have probably gotten their cauliflowers as other Yelpers recommended. But say no more, I'll be back.

I've been meaning to try this place ever since I saw them on Instagram. Their Instagram really makes you want to go here. I finally went here with my family, not sure what to expect other than a really good burger. Some of us had a salad, and that was really good. Others had a turkey burger which also did not disappoint. I had the holy grail burger which is still making me salivate. The location is fine, albeit easy to miss. And their beer selection is vast, albeit kind of pricey.

Went for the first time in years last night. Place has been updated inside. It still has the cool vibe with brick walls, mural type sketches of the city and industrial style light bulbs. The wife and I shared 3 apps. Rueben dumplings were fried and served with mustard. These were ok. General Tsao cauliflower was delicious. Bacon cheeseburger quesadilla was served with pickles and ketchup and were also good. They have about 20 beers on tap displayed on a monitor in the dining room. Service was friendly and attentive. We'll be back!

The bar had a table in the front two corner with around 5 chairs per table and a table for maybe 2-3 people in front of the dj/karaoke setup. It happened to be karaoke night. Also, noone was sitting at the bar area at the time. There's also just one bathroom in the back of the bar. Since we just had dinner, we only ordered drinks. As always, we ordered 2 long islands. The drinks were lite at first, so it didn't feel as if there's much alcohol in them, but it hits later. Overall not a bad drink for the cost. I believe it was $12 per drink. Of course one drink isn't enough so we decided to get another drink similar to a long island but has blue curacao. We showed the server/bartender a picture of it and they said they could make it. We've never had the drink before so I can't compare it to other places. The drink was pretty good, but we still prefer the long islands more. Not that the drink didn't have enough alcohol though. Moving onto the vibes of the bar... it's very different from city vibes. It may be that my friend and I were the youngest ones there and everyone else were much older. Kudos to the singers though, they had such good lungs to assist with their singing. They were very much in tune and on beat. Would I come here again? Yes. But maybe not on karaoke night, since it was really difficult to hear my friend speak and have a conversation without asking him to repeat himself.

We came here for my boyfriend's parent's anniversary and the server's were wonderful and honestly very thoughtful as well! They were very attentive to our table and refilled our waters often. I also say this because when my bf's parents ordered the halibut to split, they had brought out their meal in two individual plates that were beautifully plated, you would think they ordered separately! They also took our group picture! :) We ordered 2 orders of the Basement Snacks: For Two, 2 orders of their raw oysters for appetizers. For my entree I ordered the Shrimp Carbonara Rossa with a side of Asparagus. Everything was so good. Their buffalo wings were perfectly marinated and not too saucy, their ribs were so tender and the meat fell straight off the bone! My carbonara was also delicious. For dessert they even gave an anniversary treat which was so sweet. I ordered a Chocolate Cappuccino which was also great. 11/10! Wonderful and would recommend.
