We stayed at this hotel for 4 days while exploring the Charleston area and we chose this location rather than staying in the city based on the good reviews. The location is a little bit odd as you have to drive behind a few businesses to reach the hotel , but it was less than an hour most directions from all of the things that I wanted to do and I believe based on the reviews I read that it was the best choice in the area for value and quality. I will admit I got off to a bit of a rocky start as I jumped in the shower right away to find that the shampoo bottle was completely empty. Nobody likes getting out of the shower midway to try and find their travel shampoo. I was also frustrated that there was only a tiny travel size body wash offered for my entire stay and a half roll of toilet paper. However afterwards, when I asked for more shampoo and body wash, the staff was helpful and prompt. As a matter of fact, all the stuff was very nice in every interaction I had at this location. The room itself was very clean and comfortable and had everything that I needed. There were four large incredibly fluffy pillows on each bed and the high ceilings made the room feel very large. I was able to see my car from my room. The Wi-Fi connection is very good and very fast. The refrigerator worked well and kept everything nice and cold. The heating and air conditioning unit did make a bit of an annoying noise when it was running, but it was efficient and I just made sure to turn it off before I went to sleep so that the noise didn't bother me. The hotel is pet friendly and we paid $50 for our 4-day stay to have our dog with us, which comes out to $12.50 a day and I think that's more than reasonable. They also have a small pet relief area just across the parking lot. They offer breakfast as well, which I only went to one morning, but it was very nice. They had biscuits and gravy, bacon, eggs, and assortment of cereals, pastries and fresh fruit. So, if the breakfast is important to you, you definitely get a good variety and a good value here. They also have a fitness room, but there is no pool. Overall, this was a great stay and definitely worth a little bit of an extra drive each day. I would absolutely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a good quality hotel in the area. read more

One night stay on a road trip. This is a pretty new hotel so everything was functional and clean. Check-in with reservation went smoothly and the staff was very helpful & courteous. Easy on & off the interstate and several restaurant options are in the Hurricane area very close by.(I got door-dash delivery). There is a bar in the lobby area that seemed to open in the evening (I did not use it). One star was lost because the towels all had a strong chemical cleaner smell and my face was red & irritated from using a washcloth. I expected better for the price of the accommodation. read more

My husband, our dog, and I stayed at this hotel just to sleep for the night as we were tired from driving. I did not book ahead of time, but was able to get a room at 1am. I really have no negatives to say about my experience, so here are the highlights of the positives: Dogs are allowed - we were charged an additional $50 for the night. We looked at other hotels in the area and they wanted between $75-150 for a dog. The hotel also had a trash can for dog waste in a grassy area. Breakfast is included - they had several options with hot food items, refrigerated items, or grab & go Bed was comfy - especially their fluffy pillows Shower was large and the hotel uses Dove products (shampoo, soap, conditioner, and lotion) This town is probably not a giant destination worthy spot, but if you're driving through (especially with a dog) and need a clean/safe place to stay for the night, this is a great option. read more

Booking, check in and stay is always pleasant here. The hotel is newly build in recent years and is a great addition to the Hurricane exit. I always stay here when visiting from out of town. Rooms and communal areas are always clean. There is a nice gym on the main level that always appears to be hardly used. I stay here 2-3 times a year. Very affordable option for the area. Breakfast is hit or miss and there's a bar in the lobby with evening hours. read more

Hotel of the year, 2019-2020, according to acrylic award at the front desk. Easy access hotel of I-64. Waited for front desk staff five minutes or so, and it turns out she was outside with others. Smoke break? She apologized for the wait and was cheerful with the checkin monolog. There were two other parties waiting in line to check in after me. Anyway, this hotel still has a new look and feel. A hint of Marijuana on the elevator. May have been the young woman stepping off at the lobby. Lots of eateries in the area. This trip was one night, but I'd stay here again. I was traveling solo and felt safe. read more

We stayed one quick night so I don't have a ton of feedback. The building is fairly new and pretty clean. The ladies at the front desk were nice and professional when we checked in and out. I'd be willing to stay here again if I needed something in the area. If you're comparing Wyndhams, I stayed several nights at the Wyndham in Cross Lanes and the Hurricane one is def nicer (although the breakfast at the Cross Lanes location is more extensive). read more

This hotel got great reviews that's why we booked. Definitely was clean is about the only positive and the check in downstairs was beautiful the hot tub was open and worked. The walls are paper thin can literally hear your neighbor convos and when they go to the bathroom. Pillows aren't pillows whatsoever. Had the Do not disturb on my door the first morning Housekeeping knocked three times and then opened the door and came in again we had booked more than one night and the do not disturb was hanging on the door they knocked an hour before check out and kept it up till we left. Everything morning it was ridiculously loud kids jumped continuously above us for three hours straight. I'm telling you don't book here the amount of noise is awful and not relaxing. Wow was I so impressed by this hotel! Let me preface that I recently have had some very poor hotel experiences and had very very low expectations going in but I was on a long drive and just decided to spend the night at this hotel. The hotel is kind of boarded off with a gate around it so you feel really safe. With that being said, if you use Apple Maps it will take you to the other side of the gate so I did have to turn around and navigate into this hotel parking lot. I was driving a Penske moving truck (16 feet) so it was big but I was able to park in the parking lot perfectly fine. The manager working at the front desk was super friendly and helpful even with how busy the hotel wash. The room was also super nice and clean, the towels were folded really nicely and the amenities were very nice. The breakfast the next morning wasn't too good but had a good variety (it is hotel breakfast after all). The employee working the breakfast station the next morning was also very nice. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. I booked a one bedroom suite so I could visit with family while passing through. Only to find out they kicked me out and rebooked for a regular room at the same price and wouldn't let me cancel my reservation and didn't even have the courtesy to call and let me know ahead of time. My trip with family is ruined and there's no apology whatever. Why did they move me out of the room? Because another guest who booked well after me was going to stay several nights so it meant more money for them. read more
