You have to move heaven and earth to get an appointment here. Be prepared to have a referral and from your primary doctor ONLY regardless of whether your insurance requires it or not. Without a referral you are "wasting your time and theirs". They don't work with any other speciality doctors and won't accept referrals from them either. The front office person is rude. My girlfriend was told by her gyno that she needed to see a neurologist for migraines. She called to make an appointment after getting Dr. Bikoff's name from a friend. After getting the run around about the referral, she contacted her gyno and they sent a referral. After a few days she called the office and was told they did not receive the referral. She contacted the gyno and they confirm that they received a confirmation that the referral had been received. She called the neurologist office back and they told her they did get it but they don't work with gynocologist. She told them that is who told her to go. She doesn't currently have a primary care physician as hers moved to a new location. She was told they would review the referral and let her know. We will be finding a different neurologist. If you have to jump through that many hoops just to get an appointment, I can only imagine what it's like when you actually get there. The front office employee definitely needs as attitude adjustment. No one wants to have to go to the doctor and treating them like dirt makes it that much worse. Edit: They called back and scheduled an appointment for the following day. They then called and rescheduled the day of the appointment.

I tried everything and no luck. Was referred to Dr Walters by my anesthesiologist and Dr Walters immediately found out what my problem was. Dr Walters answered all of my questions. I have always been skeptical about having surgery on my back. However Dr Walters assured me that in would be minimally invasive and I should be able to walk the same day. Thank you Dr Walters for correcting my issue and allowing to be able to do some of the things I used to do but was unable because of the pain.

Thanksgiving eve due to a head injury and was quickly diagnosed as having Acute intracranial hemorrhage (bleeding of the brain). I met Dr. Walters' Thursday morning after being admitted the evening before. His warm, caring demeanor was very comforting and reassuring and at 1pm Thanksgiving Day I was having emergency surgery...a very scary craniotomy. During my two post-op visits to his office, the number of questions I and family members had/however trivial, he patiently answered. The care and attention, I received through-out have significantly fostered my positive emotional state and sped up the healing process. They don't really care about the pain you are in they just want you to do the pain stimulator for…read moresome reason. I did the trial it just makes you have the stimulation so you can't feel the pain. My children do not want me to have it because my rejects foreign objects. I had to have the hardware taken out of back because it made my pain worse and it still hurts to this day from Aug. 1999 to May 2025 and it has gotten worse. I think they think I am only going for the opioids but they are wrong. I have been on very strong medication like 400 mg morphine and it didn't help me. I have taken methadone. oxycontin, and did the fentanyl patch but none worked so I told them I didnt want any of this so 2 10/325 oxycodone is all they give me and I stay in so much pain I can't do much of anything. My anxiety is out the roof and my nerves are shot because of the pain, but they want give me anything more than that. The people and Drs who wrote this for just anyone hurt it for people like me and others who really need the medicine for real pain.

I was very impressed with the quality of care supplied by the doctor and how he evaluated and thoroughly explained everything he was doing as well as the technical differences between osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. He ordered an x-ray as well as bloodwork to confirm his diagnosis of osteoarthritis, as well as giving me suggestions as to concrete things I could do to help alleviate pain and slow down the progress of the arthritis.He was very attentive and clear in his explanations. Takes all the time you need…read more In my case, he answered questions I've had for years about what was causing a myriad of problems. I'm now getting monthly injections for a rare disease which is almost completely better. I HIGHLY recommend him. Very good staff also and everyone is extremely helpful. I've been seeing him for several months now and entire practice is excellent.
