I have to give a huge shoutout to Kailah at WingHouse Ellenton! She was running the bar completely by herself on a busy Friday night, and you would never have known it by the way she handled everything. She greeted everyone with a smile, stayed positive the entire night, and never let the pressure affect the amazing service she provided. I was there with a party of 10, and Kailah made sure every single one of us was taken care of from start to finish. She stayed on top of our drinks, checked in on us regularly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her attention to detail and friendly attitude made our experience so much better. Customer service like hers is rare these days. Kailah is the reason we'll remember our visit, and honestly, the only reason I'd come back to WingHouse Ellenton is because of the outstanding service she gave my entire friend group. The corn on the cob came without any spices or flavors except sadness. The medium rare steak was factually, well done. My spouse's buffalo chicken salad came without any said buffalo sauce. The requested no tomatoes bc of a food allergy = tomatoes. And it only cost us a whopping $43 for these two meals. Did I mention we got no utensils? So, my girlfriend and I came in early, an hour or so before the Ohio State football game. We seated ourselves. Sat down we could watch multiple games, college football Saturday. Only problem was, they only had like 3 different games on 20 TV's. When I asked to get a certain game on, the or manager said I will see if we have that channel. The game was on ABC. So who doesn't have ABC. I mean come on. Know what is on each channel. This is suppose to be a sports bar!! It gets better, or worse depending on how you want to look at it. After our first drink we ordered another round, but the waitress took my girlfriend's drink, it was 1/4 full still. She thought it was water and filled it with water. We watched her. And then she brought it back. When we told her, she apologized, but didn't really seem too sorry and didn't offer a free drink. So back to the beginning. When we got here, there was a photo shoot going on in the patio. We didn't realize that the girls were in thongs and bras! I mean, close to nothing on. One even came in and checked on her table with her thongs on. I was shocked. We were shocked. Thought we were watching a porn shoot for a minute. Then we had what looked like the owner, tall, bald, black man. Changing TVs for the Ohio State game. I heard him mention to one of the girls, after the photo shoot, that he wished he had dollar bills to tip the girls. I was like WTF!? We do sides to order food. My girl got extra crispy wings. They came out soggy and rubbery. Had to send back. Not to mention we think our waitress's chugged one of my beers! Yes, she brought me the wrong one, she went to other side of restaurant where no one was, and next thing you know she comes out with an empty mug. I know there is a sink over there, but she was over there longer than throwing out a beer. Next, the bathrooms are hideous. The woman's restroom had a cockroach in middle of floor. The men's restroom is filthy with mold. See the attached pics. Two of three stalls in women's bathroom were without toilet paper. Multiple bottles of fireball in trash. Likely not from patrons on a Saturday afternoon, There were 2 guys here wanting to watch the Florida game. It was on SEC network. They were told they didn't have it. But I knew that was a lie. They stayed and had a drink and then left. 10 Minutes after they left some other guys comes in and asks for same network and they turn it right on. I mean really? Then there was a stretch when the only worker we saw was the bartender. All the kitchen workers, the waitresses and the managers disappeared for like 30 minutes. We made assumptions the male managers were running a train on the girls! There was nobody in sight for a solid 30 minutes! The waitresses looking depressed, like something happened that they got back to the floor. Not sure what is going on here. But business is lacking. Overall, it's really pricey, not very clean and the people in charge have no clue what they are doing. It's suppose to be a wing place and sports bar. How do you not know what channel sports are on!!??? Doubt we ever come back to this one. This experience was really bad! read more

This is an absolute rip off for the portion size to charge $10 each on Uber, which I know is a bit more, but this is a $2 portion size. It's absurd. I went to this wing house to relax after a long day of work but was in for a rude awakening...my server was rude and did not attend me well, the wings ordered had more grease than sauce and were room temperature at best. With all this bad service I still left a small tip to not be rude, but as I was leaving over heard a manager ranting about how " Hispanics and Mexicans never tip good" which I was surprised to hear as the manager saying that was a man of color himself. The bar was packed of course, but no one in the dining room. DEFINETLY not for family. NOT for children. Only for sex starved losers. I have always loved going to Winghouse every time I visited Florida. Now that I live here, I am thrilled to have one close to my house! The wings here are awesome. I am a huge fan of the fried pickles and nachos as appetizers. They are very reasonably priced, so I never feel guilty ordering multiple appetizers. Last time I got the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and realized I prefer just the plan wings. It just wasn't saucy enough. The chicken sandwiches are huge portions and delicious as well. I am not a big fry person, but I really like the fried here. I recently signed up for the loyalty card which gives you a $10 gift card for every $100 you spend. Next we both asked for unsweetened iced tea. It came in the usual good serving size with just 2 sugar twins and no lemon. No extra sugar twins on the table, In fact only items on the table salt and pepper and ketchup. A roll of paper towels. So my wife asked for lemon and more sweetener. Two small lemon wedges and 1 sugar twin packet each. The food served was just okay not usual real good. When asked for more sauce for our wings, we were told that's the way the come.
