3 Keys Brewing is conveniently located on Manatee Ave close to 41. The building has an old time Florida feel with porch seating. Upon entering the restaurant, you will see a bar directly in front of you, and plenty of table seating off to the right in the main dining area. When 3 Keys first opened, they did not have the best food. Now, their food is high quality. I ordered the "we be jammin" burger and it was excellent. The beer did not impress me on my most recent visit. I tried two IPAs and found them to be below average. I would return, but I would hope to try better beers. They certainly have a local following as the brewery has plenty of customers on a Sunday night. read more

We came by at about 3:30, bartender/hostess was amazingly nice and very helpful. I'm really not a beer person, but decided that I would do a stout cause I like stouts, the stout was delicious! We did the beef tacos and fish tacos (cod and crispy). Come with fresh tortillas chips & salsa. The fish tacos were very crispy, not greasy, and the slaw complimented the fish. Chips & salsa was not too spicy and good. Happy hour included 2 tacos, chips & salsa for $8, it was perfect amount of food. They have entertainment various nights and they give you the list. The outside is like an outdoor porch. Food specials are listed on the menu by day. The Tootsie Roll stout is memorable. Worth trying!! read more

First visit and we will be back. The beer was tasty and the food was also delicious. We tried the Bowlegs burger and a pizza! We also had chips and beer cheese. Admittedly, this review is about three weeks in the making, nonetheless, here it is... Stopped in during a slow Monday afternoon, post-Super Bowl Sunday. From the outside the place is pretty much non-descript, but inside you are greeted, not only by the friendly bartenders, but by the beautiful inside of this standalone taproom. We intended to order food but we noticed light fixtures full of water and dripping. Something just seemed off so we left after a beer. We ordered a cheeseburger and side salads w/ ranch and chicken schnitzel w/ spaetzle. Hubby said the cheeseburger was cooked to perfection and so was my chicken schnitzel. Service was amazing. Partner had a Cuban sandwich and side Caesar salad and he loved it. I had three steak tacos tasty but very sparse with meat and slaw. I'd rather see more filling on two tacos. The food and service are both top notch and the new menu is great. The beers are a good selection lights, darks, and sours and there's almost always something you'll love (w/ a rotating tap list). There's an exterior patio in back that has a great music venue and a front porch, If you want to bring critters. I am so disappointed to have to remove a star from my rating. We just visited tonight, and learned that our favorite fries in Bradenton have come to an end. They used to be hand cut, but no longer are. Now they are just basic. The burgers don't seem as large or flavorful as they previously were. The garlic cheese fries also have a different taste-and type of cheese. The beer garden is still in full swing, and tasty beers and ciders are prevalent. It's just no longer the food that once wowed us. read more

The menu has changed. The save the date salad was THE BEST, but it's been discontinued. We used to come at least one time every other week. The servers are always kind, but it's been disappointing with the menu changes. Also the last few times there's been problems with the beer kegs.... And your selection is limited. read more

I went to 3 Keys Brewing tonight with some family. My wife got the jack fruit nachos, I got a pork shank with brussel sprouts and rice, my mother in law got a hamburger and cousin got chicken. We all liked our dinners. Mine had a hilarious amount of sprouts. They could have given me a third of the portion of brussel sprouts and it would have been fine. My wife's nachos were enormous. I'd say the food was decent and kind of interesting for a brewery, but not as good as it could be if that makes sense. OK, now to the beer. We got two flights. Both flights were very good. I liked all the beers we had and they were obviously very good quality. The milk stout, hippie chick IPA and Scotch Ale were our favorites. Service was good. It was busy and he was nice. Bottom line is pretty good bar food and good to very good beer. I'd like to go back. read more

They claimed they had the best burger in town and I'd say they're up there. The problem is more there is not an amazing burger in Bradenton, there's a handful of good ones but nothing over the top. The best burger requires a sear, spices, proper cheeses, solid In house ground beef blend, good bun, and uniqueness. I feel 3 keys could use some spices, better beef blend and better cheese. The fries could have been more crispy as well. They were not soggy, but could use some texture. They seemed fresh. The burger fries combo gets a 3 stars, the kitchen closing at 8 gets a 2 star. The in house lager was crispy, refreshing, light and super fresh. Beers were perfect. The service was decent, it's a brewery so it was fitting. The ambiance was very quiet, I'd blame the weeknight. We used to love their chips and beer cheese. Then they replaced the delicious chips with crappy ones. Taste totally different. Sad. The ceaser salad was my favorite here. Then they went cheap and changed the cheese and possibly the lettuce. Just not as good anymore. Beer is alright. Ambience is great and employees are friendly and attentive. Great place right on 64 in Bradenton. The atmosphere is laid back with a dog friendly porch. Could use with with something for the flies. Don't let the smaller front parking lot fool you, there is lots of parking in the rear. The food comes out quick, but made fresh and the order is never wrong. The servers are friendly. In one of my visits to the area, 3 Keys Brewing was highly recommended. I am always up for trying a local brewery. Big place with lots of indoor seating and outdoor seating. The place was packed. We had 5 in our group and waited to find a table to sit at and settled at a table outside. I started with a 41 Red and ended with Kira's Cake beers. Great beer variety. Loved the 41 Red. We decided to share a Ginormous Pretzel (loved the mustard dipping sauce), shared an order of onion rings. They are known for their burgers so I had the Hulk Smash. Daughter had the beef tacos and my son had the wings. We all enjoyed our food. It was bingo night and they seem to offer a lot of entertainment. Great service because with the amount of customers, we didn't wait long to get any of our foods or drinks. We just had a great time and looking forward to our next visit. read more

Excellent place. I went in on a weekday, relatives 21st birthday. He wanted to do the sampler, we actually all did the sampler to get a feel for what their beer was all about. I enjoyed the Dirt track Date, which is a very tasty Amber lager kind of light in color. No aftertaste. pretty happy with that. Also had the Samoa, which was kind of an oatmeal cookie Stout. Very tasty. Very smooth aftertaste was enjoyable. Others in our group enjoyed the Suncoast cream ale. Everybody was happy with their food. Despite some negative reviews about the burgers, I had the burger. It was fantastic, so reports about how it it's mediocre, was grainy or whatever... People were way out of line with that, it was fine. I think the real problem was that it was slightly greasy, but that did not put me off whatsoever. People have to remember it's bar food. OK ? You're not in a high-end restaurant. Burger was great! Several had the Nashville hot chicken and were quite happy. Somebody had the fish and chips and were satisfied. I dropped quite a lot of coin at that brewpub, and was taken care of spectacularly by the server. Recommend this place and I will be returning. The only other thing I will say about places like this is, and people should take heed... I'd rather eat in a bar, than drink in a restaurant. Pretty self-explanatory. read more

I am not someone to make a review on a restaurant but what is advertised is not as is, AT ALL!! We came in and as soon as we step in no one greets you, no one says anything.. it's filthy inside, tables are super sticky , floors gross and the ceilings look disgusting .. fast forward got sweet tea and 2 appetizers (buffalo chix eggrolls and the bacon) the egg rolls were pasty and cold on the inside and burnt on the outside, the bacon was nothing but fat, greasy and Luke warm.. that's all we got and was over $40 just for that. read more
