    fujifilm XP90

I love this little camera shop !! The staff are always so friendly and help me find exactly what I need every time. I came here three years ago and purchased a Nikon DSLR camera for a photography class I took during my undergrad years at Georgia State University. I went back to browse their digital camera options because my old one died on me. Patrick immediately knew exactly what to recommend and I was in and out in under 45 mins. I purchased a fujifilm XP90 digital camera with wifi enabled and I am beyond excited!! Thank you so much ;))

Wings is small, intimate, a little dusty, but absolutely well intentioned. Worth the trip.

Great place to rent gear! The process was easy to do online to pick what I needed. It was ready…read morewithin an hour. Went and picked it up. The building is nice and clean. I returned the lens back a few days earlier just because I wasn't going to be able to bring it back on the due date, and they refunded for the days I'm not using it for, so that was really cool. I was expecting to eat the cost! I definitely will be renting from them again.

I have two Sony E mount cameras. However, the cost of lenses beyond my two small zoom lenses is…read moreprohibitive. So now, when I plan to travel somewhere I will rent lenses (sometimes cameras, too) from Aperturent. To pack light, so I don't pay airline baggage fees, I rent the 24-240 Sony zoom lens. So I don't have to take the 20-70 and 70-300 lenses (which take up bag space) with me. I can slide my 'personal item' (small bag) under the seat in front of me. Yes, renting the lens can be cheaper than paying a baggage fee in both directions. When I want to photograph planes or bird, I rent the Sony 200-600 (a heavy beast of a lens). You must rent for a minimum of three days. But since they don't charge for the weekend, I can pick up a rental late Wednesday and keep it until Monday close of business (thus getting five days for the cost of three). Here are some Toronto Canada photos I took with the rented 24-240 lens.

I took some old family photos to see if New Tech Photo could copy, restore and resize them. My goal…read morewas to use a family heirloom frame to display five generations of father-son photos. Holly at the front desk was awesome! She was very friendly and made me feel as if she was just as excited about the project as I was. She listened to what I wanted and conveyed it perfectly to the photo tech. They kept me updated on the progress and let me sneak a few peeks along the way. Holly even recommended a local frame shop (Fine Lines Art & Framing.) The frame shop owner (a very talented lady) and the photo tech "artist" worked together to create the perfect size prints. The prints were made to fit into a custom mat that worked with my frame. I absolutely LOVE how it turned out! This beautiful piece of art will have a special place in our family for generations. I HIGHLY recommend New Tech Photo to anyone looking for high-quality photo restoration and beautiful prints.
