I met up with some friends here (it was a halfway point, also my second time here)...my one friend did The Wall challenge (hot wings) he asked what he got if he did it and the waitress told him a shirt and his picture on the wall, he did finish the challenge and I have to say I was disappointed in the lack luster of it all, we weren't expecting a grand show of it or anything but it just seemed like no one really cared...it even took about 10 minutes before the manager came around and took his picture and then took his phone number because they had no shirts and they will call when they come in. Had we known they didn't even have the shirt he wouldn't have done the challenge, this is over a 2 hour drive. Since moving to Marietta 6 years ago, this has been a family favorite. For the last year or so, I've been disappointed every time. We order carry out a lot and the last four orders were missing something every single time. They have been good about some how making it right but it's a pain to get home and not have what you expected. Last week, we stopped in. My wife and I had eaten the exact same thing except for our wing sauce. By bed time, she was having intestinal distress and nausea. When I say we ate everything the same, I mean breakfast and lunch and the exact same thing for dinner except for the sauce. Called after they messed up my DOORDASH order, I ordered the nachos with no chili, guess what they came smothered in Chili, they were soggy and inedible called and got Tiffany, all she could say was they couldn't do anything about it because i had ordered thru DOORDASH, no replacement or no refund i even have a receipt that says no Chili. Once we made it to this location, Weather in minutes turnt very severe, but we was not about to let some weather stop us from having Lunch at our Favorite Hangout, but then on the other hand after getting out of vehicle it was severely coming down. After stepping inside Wings Etc, we was told that Rain Water has intruded into the restaurants front doors to be careful, so after entering the restaurant we seen the rain water creeping in thru the front doors to the main floor. We have to give the Staff a BIG THUMB's UP for the Outstanding job they did of keeping the water from getting any further in to the restaurant, they were Defiantly Hustling of keeping location dry inside as best they could, Awesome Job to the Entire Staff!! Let's start off by saying the waitresses were very friendly! We ordered two beers and the pretzels with beer cheese and they both came out very quickly and the pretzel bites were so good. We are staying nearby. Waitress very nice. Pretzels bites maybe they were supposed to be like that but felt they were over done. It appeared they were baked and then deepfried and really greasy. I paid extra for the beer cheese and barely warm and very thick and grainy. My boyfriend got the jalapeno burger said it was okay but the fries were cold. I had teriyaki wings they were a little above warm but after eating 2 wings I found the sauce was very salty. The first time they brought them out you could tell they were old and they were hard so we asked for a new order and when they brought those out they were hard and looked like they were overcooked. First time eating here. Service was great quick with drinks, made giod suggestions, lots of tv's for a sports bar. Good friendly atmosphere clean. The sports bar was packed on a holiday Sunday afternoon with every imaginable football game being viewed. It's an antacid sort of place, with chicken the main star & lots of beer to wash down concoctions of sauce. Service was mediocre; raising your arm, like answering a question in school was the way to prompt the bartender to possibly come your way, after she plays with her hair for the zillionth time. By far, pet peeves....hair playing no matter where you are working in an eatery, along with touching your dirty phone....squirrelly's for sure. Tater Tots? Yummy and "Yes Please!" I'm always tempted to give any place with Tots a higher rating. They bring out the kid in me. These with extra de-lush because if the crispy seasoned outside and soft potato inside that was still the taste of "tater". Nice job guys! Why only a 3-star? Sauce dump.... The wings were hot and juice with a crispy outside. The problem? They don't toss the wings in the sauce. They com in the basket smothered in the sauce on top and naked on the bottom. NOOOOO! For me, wings should be coated all the way around to create the perfect sauce to meat ratio. (Big Bang fans may bet the Sheldon reference.). Anyways with too much sauce on top and not sauce on the bottom, I had to dip my wing. Again, NOOOOO! I did have the Asian Kick which was kickin' with flavor. We go to Wings about every Thursday. It started out as a night out for my husband and night shift working daughter while I went out with the girls. As the world and life shifted during the pandemic, we still tried to support them. Some meals have been good and some have been fair but tonight is a different story. We went out for a late dinner with our young grandson and had poor customer service. They seated us right in front of the door, but we could have asked for a better table, then they totally ignored us. They weren't busy. We sat there with a 4 year old for more than 10 minutes and no one acknowledged us or even took our drink order. We left and took our business elsewhere. This is my first experience with this restaurant and I was really unhappy with the service and food I received. I had ordered boneless wings (clearly stated on the order form) and tots to go. When I arrived, which was later than when I was told my food would be ready for pickup, my food wasn't ready as promised. I was told in a very patronizing way that I would just have to wait. As I had dogs in the car and the temperature was in the mid80s I had no intention of leaving them in a hot car to wait on an already late order for who knows how much longer. Thus I had to leave to take the dogs home and returned 30 minutes later (an hour after which my food was supposed to have been ready). When I got my order it was cold, but worse it was wrong! It had some god awful teriyaki like marinade and was overdone to the point of being inedible, just dry and stringy. And the salad cost me over $10!! We found Wings Ect. Because it was right next to our hotel, so we decided to stop in and try it out. It really hit the spot for a great wings and beer place! They had a pretty sold beer selection, all the normal bases were covered but they also had a good amount of craft brews to choose from...all fairly priced. The wings were GREAT, first let me say the fact that you can order 16 wings and get as many different Flavors as you like is the right way to run a wings place. I got a platter of 16 wings in 4 different Flavors. The only downside was you could tell the wings weren't tossed in the sauce, the were placed on the plate and the sauce poured over them, so there were a few dry spots. The service was above and beyond, our waitress was very helpful and engaging and at one point, one of the owners came over to check in on us and tried to help find a football game for us on one of the many TVs.
