Reflection and Silhouette are both Solstice class so they're very similar. The only difference is the Retreat sun deck in Silhouette is expanded. It's on two levels, have a bar and a hot tub. It also includes a lot more seating since it's bigger. My husband and I appreciated that a lot since we spent most of our time in the Retreat sun deck during sea days. We got to know the bartender well! Lol Our experience was wonderful. We never encountered a bad crew. All the ones we dealt with were friendly and gracious. Our cabin attendant and butler were attentive and did everything to make our stay comfortable. The wait staff at Luminae were exceptional! The alcoholic beverages that we had were good and the food's great! If you want a quick getaway, I highly recommend Celebrity Silhouette.

While the ship itself is beautiful and the food and staff were fantastic, the overall experience wasn't the right fit for me. Here's my honest, condensed review: The Good: Beautiful Ship, Incredible Staff, Outstanding Food Ship & Layout The Silhouette is gorgeous, thoughtfully designed, clean, and easy to navigate. Everything felt well organized. Staff & Service The staff were exceptional--friendly, accommodating, and consistently helpful. Their service was a major highlight. Bars & Lounges Celebrity truly excels here. * Ice Martini Bar - creative, fun atmosphere * Ensemble Lounge - my mom's favorite, relaxing and classy * Sky Lounge - my top pick with rocking chairs and panoramic ocean views * World Class Bar - excellent craft cocktails, comparable to high-end land bars Dining * Tuscan Grille - phenomenal food, great wine, and impeccable service * Sushi on 5 - fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared with great signature rolls Fitness & Spa The gym was well-equipped, though rounded dumbbells aren't ideal on a moving ship (they roll). Hex dumbbells would be safer. The spa was gorgeous and offered a serene escape. Pools & Decks Both indoor and outdoor pool areas were impressive, with plenty of loungers and several hot tubs. Even with a full ship, it never felt overly crowded. The Not-So-Great: One Bad Restaurant, an Older Crowd, and Poor Excursions The Porch - Not Worth It This premium outdoor restaurant was a major disappointment, especially at $40/person. * Weather was cold, yet we couldn't cancel without losing our $20 deposit per person * Lobster bisque was burnt and flavorless * Lobster roll was mostly bread with barely any lobster I would not recommend this venue. Crowd & Entertainment The demographic skewed very old--around 75% of guests were 60-70+. Entertainment and activities were geared toward that age group, resulting in a slow, dated atmosphere. If you're under 50, this cruise will likely feel boring and lacking energy. Weather & Ports: Mixed Experience We had unusually bad weather (not Celebrity's fault), and it heavily impacted port days. Bimini, Bahamas Snorkeling was canceled, and the "town" offered almost nothing--no real shopping, limited food options, and a generally rundown feel. The resort beach club may be nice, but the rest of Bimini felt like an unnecessary stop. I wouldn't return. Cozumel Another canceled excursion, but Cozumel at least had shops, bars, and restaurants, so we still enjoyed the day. George Town, Grand Cayman - Stingray Excursion Disaster This was the worst experience: * Our excursion boat broke down upon arrival at Stingray City * We sat nearly an hour as the crew tried to fix it * After being towed, the crew focused on getting us in the water rather than arranging a replacement boat * We were stuck almost two extra hours, missed the included lunch/drinks, and barely made the last tender * Celebrity initially resisted issuing a refund, which was very frustrating Overall, this excursion was a mess from start to finish. Overall Verdict The Celebrity Silhouette has many strengths: a beautiful ship, amazing staff, excellent bars, and truly outstanding food. For travelers who enjoy a calm, classic cruise with a slower pace, it could be perfect. However, the very old crowd, unengaging entertainment, disappointing ports, and one awful specialty restaurant made this sailing a mismatch for me. If you're under 50 and looking for energy, culture, or adventure, this itinerary won't deliver.

Years back we got a chance to visit Everglades National Park but never did an airboat. Our group of 36 people were taken here where we were given stickers with a letter on it. When your letter is called on the PA, you line up single file to get on the next available airboat. Earplugs are available if you need them. Our airboat tour was about twenty minutes. Just enough to appreciate the Everglades. We spotted one gator and a couple of birds. The airboat wasn't as noisy as I anticipated as the engine is in back. Hold on to your hats and baseball caps as it's windy. There's a gift shop and a food truck around the corner. You can visit the wildlife exhibit and there's a talk from a naturalist on the two gators in residency. There's an opportunity to pet a baby gator too. Now I can check off airboat experience off my bucket list.

(Until they update the website) It is more expensive when you book and don't ask about online coupons because it is outdated and you are really paying more than what is indicated. But then she was very personable and confirmed everything to my confidence. She answered all my questions patiently and thoroughly. For an extra price she hooked me up with a ride there from my hotel and back. No it is not limo. I must say the pilots are very.... accommodating. And good looking. Ladies be careful if you are single they might try to steal a kiss. Their European accent will steal your heart. Extra star! It was HOT that afternoon. The planes are not air conditioned I think there is a valve where it blew air but that was it. Throughout the entire tour we were dripping drops in buckets of sweat. We didn't talk much being we had to communicate through the headphones and the mic picked up every other sound other than our voices and if the windows were down then there was a lot of air interference. For the price it is not a luxury tour, but it did allow me to see parts of Miami in a whole different perspective. Oh it was beautiful, and I know that if I did not get so sick in the middle of the tour, they would have no problem with flying over where ever I wanted. I would have given 5 stars but I felt oh so icky and sweaty and the planes are older so it had that older material smell and I am a girl trying to be cute in Miami on the holiday so you see the reason for the lower star rating. This is a flight school also fyi. The pilots all have a wonderful cheesy sense of humor and we would be all day talking if we had nothing else planned. TIPS: If you want to fly with someone, the flight will be easier if you are light. If you are heavy you may just want to fly with someone light or by yourself. No luxury stuff here. Just down and dirty flying yes you will see everything you want to see for the time you are up there, but if it is hot hold your questions so we can leave the window down and feel the air blow the sweat off. Overall my experience is not bad. I think I was used to a luxury air conditioned leather seat flight before so it kind of had a bad influence on this review. I don't mind recommending this place just make sure you understand the flight does not have anemities. If you are a pretty girl, maybe the guys will make up for it, but if you are a guy, just expect a nice view ask them to fly over the nude beach one time!

After I signed up I contacted Tatiana to make sure she saw my reservation. After some discussion on the phone she made it clear that the trip I selected would not be a great option today based on the waves being so rough.
