Some days the pain was pretty intense. My doctor referred me for a MRI, but until then suggested I begin physical therapy. I was referred to Chantilly Physical Therapy by Tricare. Every person I've encountered here has been kind and helpful. The therapists I have worked with have been wonderful. They really took the time to listen to my concerns and goals for recovery. They showed me exercises and stretches that specifically helped my situation. In just a few sessions, I had a marked improvement in what I was able to do and now after 15 sessions, I am feeling like myself again. Just received a…read morephone call ONE hour before the first appt to be told that I was out of network (when over the phone I was told that I was in network). Completely unprofessional.....I now need to schedule PT with another place during the busy holiday season (not an easy feat). Not the best way to run a business. They claim they called me yesterday...but there is no record or voice mail. As if I wouldn't have immediately called back to figure this out? Insist that your insurance company is called and verify coverage before scheduling. I've wasted a ton of my time for no reason.

After a couple months of healing passed I was sure that chronic pain was just something I was going to have to live with. I am so happy to say that Core Physical therapy has totally changed that for me. I have been going twice a week for just a couple hours a day and what a HUGE difference it has made for me!! I am now walking painlessly and back to working normal hours at my job in a kitchen. My job has me on my feet all day so it was so scary to think my injury could impact my ability to work. The staff is wonderful, the treatments are effective, and from beginning to end my visits are an overall great experience. So, I saw Rachel for therapy to see what could be done to fix it. She helped a lot with massage, then proper stretching, and now exercising. She analyzed how I moved and spotted where I was having a problem, then made great suggestions on what to do going forward. What was important to me was not just fixing the immediate problem but also working on prevention, she spotted some corrective things I should be doing too. I'll admit I am not a "good" patient in terms of following the new routine but I gotta say when I do things are LOTS better. I am impressed, I'll be back!

It's a much smaller center than Ashburn but much of the same equipment. Lots of PT demand clearly in the center. I was able to complete my back exercises but it was in a smaller area. Fortunately, we had a room normally used for evaluations so wasn't as congested. Easy parking and right behind the CVS. It's a longer ride but close to my nieces' house (for now) and so I used the drive to drop off some packing boxes. Jessica is a really good therapist specifically recommended by one of the best pain management Doctors so I would go again if that was the lonely appointment time available. The Ashburn center is much more convenient to Ashburn/Sterling folks.

I have worked with several PT's there so far as it's good to rotate as everyone has their own unique technique. I have gotten good results from my injured shoulder that was at first though I might have to have surgery. But now I can sleep without pain and it seems to be getting better. Tomorrow I'm having the dry needling and I'm confident in that experience as they are all very caring and I love visiting with them all during my appointment. Convenient and the staff is great. Recommend it to anyone that needs help. The office and PT area is nice and comfortable.

BLUF: The feel of this place seems best matched with athletic training & injury recovery more than…read morea clinical rehab setting. You'll probably be working with PTAs rather than DPTs or MPTs yet paying the very high rates set for licensed PTs. So, this is a model made for the benefit of the owners and not clients or patients. It may be efficient for the owners but not cost-efficient or as effective for patrons. For a fairly new facility, equipment already looks really worn & so do the treatment rooms. Highly professional environment is not how I'd describe it. Evaluation wasn't as comprehensive as I'd hoped. They charge for absolutely everything they can to increase your bill so they can charge insurance. And the rates are so high! What the insurance company doesn't pay will leave patrons with a pretty hefty bill. On top of that, never received an actual write-up of the evaluation and never could get a formal home program no matter how many times it was requested. What the heck?!? That felt like they just wanted to keep a person coming back and not practice outside of therapy to improve more quickly. That seems to go against getting off the caseload as quickly as possible for significant improvement and instead encouraging more frequent in-house sessions so you can be billed massively for each one. Kinda counter to any type of ethical therapy practice of any kind. They're not cheap. I'm happy to pay for consistent high quality services if one gets what they pay for. Can't say that's what I got here with any certainty. If one is working only with PTAs, then charges should reflect that lower level of expertise & training. If one is working directly with a licensed PT, charges should appropriately reflect that level of expertise. Length of sessions always fluctuated (always in the direction of shorter sessions) yet billing remained the same for each visit & in some cases charges tacked on for procedures not rendered. That's an example of their inconsistency. Worth the drive? Ummm...So, if you choose Chiron, manage your expectations. For elite athletes (elite as in you can afford the high rates) looking to recover & get your mojo back, then this may be the place for you. Definitely felt like money was a huge incentive here. For patients needing quality & compassionate clinical PT care, I'd suggest finding a practitioner and setting more geared toward providing that type of expertise & level of care.

My niece had the pleasure of being a patient at Chiron and I didn't have to second guess on where I was going for treatment. Every PT, front desk rep, and office member at Chiron is professional, knowledgeable, and absolutely amazing! Since my first time there and every time I've had to have physical therapy I always make sure Chiron is in network, because I'm NOT GOING ANYWHERE ELSE!!! They're not just where I go for treatment, they're family!

I would normally give one star based on my experience overall, but I am giving two stars because the OT Jamelle and the PT Kelly were wonderful with my dad and providing family training. I myself am a healthcare worker and I'm aware of what the services should entail. They are clearly vested in their businesses bottom line, not patient care. My dad was seen by an licensed PT for the initial evaluation and the he was then assigned to a PTA, who was very nice, but would've done absolutely nothing with my dad other than sitting in chair doing leg exercises, had I not requested she work on functional tasks performing sit to stand, walking with his walker and assessing if he could do stairs as he was independent and able to climb 14 steps prior to his recent hospitalization. Furthermore when the PTA did come she was only there for usually 30 mins max. As other people had noted in the reviews, and where I think the problems stem from, are the higher ups the branch manager and above. They did an awful job in scheduling caregivers and abysmal communication/responses when reaching out to them. Sadly this organization he really declined and I would not recommend them for any home health services.

If your loved one requires on going, nurse-level visits & does not need a full package of other unnecessary, bill padding services...... they will eventually drop the patient from care without any notice whatsoever to you or other health professionals involved (referring physician, etc).
