I am honestly so tired of not getting my money's worth from this Wingstop, especially this location. It needs to be removed from DoorDash because the workers here are beyond careless. I've given them chance after chance, even when I pick up my order myself, and they still manage to mess it up every single time. If I'm spending $40 for two combo meals, I expect everything I ordered. I ordered two combos with bone in wings, one 10 piece and one 6 piece. One was supposed to have carrots only, the other celery only. They gave me one box with three of each. I paid for a side of extra flavor but didn't get that either. I paid for an additional ranch and didn't get that. I ordered a Powerade and didn't get it, and no one even messaged to ask about a substitute. I grew up on Wingstop being the household wing place my parents would get if we were ever craving it. Nostalgic but it's still my favorite fast-food wing joint in general to this day. Service is usually solid, but the wings do take time to make which isn't a big deal if called in advance. I usually get the parmesan garlic, hot, and Louisiana rub as my wing styles since they have the most flavor too me. Wingstop has notorious fries as well, I don't know what they put in them but they are addicting even reheated. I used to frequent the Wingstop in my hometown of Ruston, LA. In Ruston, I ate Wingstop an uncountable amounts of time. Sad really... I mobiled ordered on the Wingstop app. I got a 10 count of Mango Haberno and Lemon Pepper (my favorite) and the "tray" of french fries. I was not disappointed at all!! I walked into Wingstop totally ready to hate everything about it. But on this day I was wrong. I'll be honest that wings are not really my favorite food. I would probably never choose them. So I was glad when Wingstop offers 3 options for chicken: wings, boneless wings (basically glorified chicken nuggets), and strips. I chose boneless wings and got my choice of 2 sauces to have them drenched in. Everyone at my table got something a little different so we had the chance to try lots of flavors of sauce. The lady at the counter taking my order was super kind and helpful explaining their most popular flavors and combos when I had trouble picking. The guy who brought us our food was nice too. Was craving some wings, so I decided to give this Wingstop a try. There were a few customers dining in their dining area and they had some great music on. The cashier took my order of lemon pepper wings (the only flavor I always get!) and an order of veggies. You have to pay for ranch or blue cheese dip unfortunately, unless you buy a meal. I usually get their French fries, which I can only describe as greasy soggy fries that's sprinkled with some sort of sugar. I used to not care for it, but it works well with their cheese dip (nacho cheese type). Just a suggestion! This time I didn't get it though. The cashier told me it will be 15-20 mins. Time passed by quickly and my order was done. I took it home to-go to enjoy. The chicken wings were hot and fresh and it was cooked perfectly. You definitely have to know that their wings are usually drenched in butter, which the wings were in a pool of with lemon pepper. Nothing to concern me cause I'm used to this when I order my lemon pepper wings anywhere. Just a warning for ya'll! It tasted good with its crunchy skin and was a bit juicy as well. The veggies I ordered was not good though. The celery were thinly sliced and looked old and pale, instead of crisp green. It wasn't too crispy to the bite, so I just trashed it all together. Overall, the experience wasn't bad, wings were good, nothing extraordinary but will do for a late night meal. The veggies did not do well for me so maybe I'll get the fries instead. We opened our bags to find to our horror that they screwed up our order.. And failed to provide some items we ordered. I was on my way to a friend's house and was starving, but wanted something more than fast food. We've all been there. Queue angelic music as I look over and see Wingstop! I've eaten at the chain plenty of times and am a fan. So I stop and get some wings and cheese fries to go. When I got to my friend's house, she saw the Wingstop bag and said "if you had told me you were going to go to that Wingstop I would've cautioned you against it." She was right. I'll start with the cheese fries. Now granted, I've never ordered this particular item before, so I think my expectations may have just been too high, but the cheap, drippy, liquidy nacho cheese just wasn't really what I was prepared for upon ordering. Also, I had forgotten that the regular fries at Wingstop have a certain sweetness to them - like they use salt and sugar to season... Well, that doesn't really pair well with the nacho cheese. And the wings. I ordered the mild wings. Yeah, I know... I just wasn't feeling too spicy this particular evening. So, the wings looked pretty good. The sauce-to-wing ratio seemed proper (you wing eaters know what I'm talking about). But when I sat down and bit into my chicken, it was rather bland. Almost as if the sauce had been watered down somehow. And the chicken itself seemed a little off. Like it wasn't fresh. Even the soda I had while waiting on my order just didn't taste quite right. I don't know what it was, but everything that entered my esophagus from this place just felt like it was going to cause my stomach to bubble like a brook. The service itself was less than wondrous as well. About 2 minutes passed after I entered through the front door and stood at the counter before anyone greeted me. Now honestly, I'm not a stickler for greetings and all that. I couldn't care less if the restaurant is busy or the employees are hustling around and just don't have time to say "welcome" - it just doesn't really matter to me most of the time. But the employee at the front counter could have at least looked up and acknowledged that someone had just walked through the door. But no. A different employee stopped what she was doing afterwhile and greeted me and got my order. All in all, I wasn't really impressed with this particular Wingstop. Although I do like the space itself. It has a pretty nice dining area compared to other Wingstops I've frequented. And I like that it stays open till midnight. The place definitely has potential, and I will probably go again just to see if I just went on an off day. But as of right now, it's not a spot I would recommend unless I'm recommending places to avoid. read more
