After my experience I remembered again why I avoided wingstop in the first place. We were craving wings during this quarantine one day and thought let's switch it up and try this place out again. Nothing has changed since we last came 10 years ago. We ordered the mild wings and it was so dry and over fried it was wing jerky dunked in red chili oil. Came on a Monday for $0.50 wings. Because of the reviews, I ordered WAY early. Only complaint: It was lukewarm. Darn, I shouldn't have listened to reviews. It's all your fault, Yelp, I shoulda just waited 30 minutes like everyone else. The Hawaiian and Louisiana Rub (Spicy) were good. The Hawaiian was sweet and a touch tangy, I liked it a lot. The Louisiana Rub was a bit dry and spicy, still good. Their super spicy one is like BWW's Blazin'. Since I generally don't like spicy wings, this was terrible for me. But it's so cheap on deal days (Monday/Tuesday is $0.50/wing here compared to $0.70/wing at Buffalo Wild Wings) and the quality is comparable or better than Buffalo Wild Wings. The place is small and it's pretty quiet, so it has a really nice vibe for the deep Chino Hills traveler. It has a cool metal decor. There are about 6 tables. It can fit a small to large party. My favorite flavors are: Hickory BBQ, Garlic Parmesan, and Lemon Pepper. I always get the 20 wings w/ the choice of 2 flavors ($13). If I had to feed a large party, I always get the family style ($26). The fries are amazing here. It taste like sweet potato fries, but it isn't. You can choose between the small or the large. The large fries can feed about 3-4 people. The sauces are about 50-65 cents each. For some odd reason, my friend and I could not taste the difference between the blue cheese and ranch dipping sauce. The wings were good, but not as I remembered it to be. It didn't amaze me like when I used to eat it in az. The BBQ wings were of course good; however, the Garlic Parmesan wasn't as flavorful and it was a bit too oily. Haven't had Wingstop in years. Before that we used to frequent this location on a weekly/monthly basis. Now I remember why we haven't eaten here in years. Under new ownership and the food is lacking. Not a good idea to order for Superbowl. The food didn't taste like it was freshly cooked since they were so busy with orders. The fries were cold/stale and definitely not seasoned the way Wingstop fries are supposed to be seasoned. Yes, there is a slight wait, but we noticed a lot of people had made online/phone orders anyway. There was a constant flow of people for a Saturday night. There are a few tables for dine in guests. Our order was ready in "18 minutes or less", per the cashier. Our foursome got 4-10 classic wing combos in lemon pepper, garlic parm, Louisiana rub, original, and hickory smoke bbq. The wings seemed bigger and crispier than BWW. Flavorwise, it was also as good, if not better than BWW. The service was okay. There are no trash cans in the restaurant. Parking spaces are supertight.
