I've been visiting the Cordova location for about 12 yrs, so much so when I walk in the staff knew my name and my order request before I could place it. In the beginning, the food and service were on point! Fast forward to a new owner and new staff that repeatedly offer poor service and bad food. The wings are either cold or dried out, they won't answer the phone for to go orders and when you do get through your placed on hold. I never bother ordering by phone, now I use the app. Well after seeing the service and food decline I stopped going to this location and would go to Bartlett (just as bad by the way) anyway one day I decided to visit Cordova again only to see the original owner back! Not only did I wait extra time than what I was told. My Whole order was wrong and I was missing 50 wings out of a 100pc wing order. I went to claim my food and right away the cashier got defensive and didn't want to cooperate at all. They have really good service and good food. This was my very first time ever at a wing stop but I learned that you should place your order before you go to pick or up. They cook everything fresh to order which is great but it takes a VERY long time to get your order. We were even given 2 free drinks while we waited and we waited so long that we each ended up getting refills. It's really small inside so the tables inside are really for waiting versus sitting in to eat. I got 2 different chicken flavors, their fries and fried corn. Everything was really good and all stayed hot during the ride home so they weren't fast to lost their heat. So, I placed an order at 3:07pm today and scheduled the order to be ready at 6pm. My order consisted of 50 wings, 2 large fries, veggie sticks, and a pound of ranch. I placed this order online and was given a pick up time of 6pm. When I arrived at 6:18pm my order was not ready. The order had not even been started yet. The employee told me it would be another 15 minutes or so. I patiently waited for my wings and asked to speak to a manger once my order was ready. He first asked me what I ordered and then told me that orders of 40 or more wings will not be cooked until they have been paid for. I told him that it didn't say anything about that online. He told me it will not tell you that online. He said they have had several prank orders recently. I told him there was no way for me to know that. I would never prank order anything, that is so stupid. He never apologized for the delay, he didn't offer any refund or discount on a future purchase. He just continued to argue with me that they do not cook orders of 40 or more wings until they have been paid for. I have never heard of such before. This was horrible customer service. He could have at least offered a 10 piece wing on the house or a partial refund. Something to make me just a little bit happy, but no. I love Chicken Wings and this place hands down has some of the best wings around - I have to say that BWW use to be good but not as good as this nice chain resturant. The wings are made to order meaning when you order your wings, the start to cook them. I always get their hot flavored wings which for me isn't too hot but just hot enough. The other sides they have are also good along with their other flavors. If you are just looking for a place to hang out and eat wings - I suggest this place. This will be my first and ONLY time ordering from Wingstop. I ordered 20 wings (6 classic and 14 boneless) and a large fry to share with my mother. When I went to pick up the food the lady said she just bagged my food so I trusted she put all of it in the bag. I should've checked it before leaving, but I trusted that is was all in the bag. I got home and my 6 classic wings were no where to be found. I called the number on the receipt and was asked to hold immediately after the lady answered. I was on hold for 10+ minutes so I hung up and called back a few more times. Finally someone answered and told me to hold again. I quickly told them I couldn't hold anymore because my food was getting cold and they forgot my wings. At first I was told they were busy with another customer, but then they said I could bring in my receipt to get the rest of my order. Since the food was already getting cold my mother took the receipt to get the remaining wings. When she arrived the lady asked where the bag of food was. My mother told her that she said the receipt was only needed to get the missing food. The lady said "oh, well it's going to be about 10 minutes, he's already using all the chicken he cooked to fill another order" My mother asked for a refund for the six missing wings and the lady said she couldn't do that, so my mother said she would wait on the wings. This is the first review I've ever given on Yelp but I really couldn't just let this go. Firstly, I ordered online and when I got to the store they had no indication that they had received my order even though I had received a confirmation email. If you're going to offer an online ordering service you might as well make sure it works. Secondly, the woman that was on the register was nice and well-mannered but she was extremely slow at inputting my order and I had to repeat myself about 5 times. Lastly, after I got home with my order, not only was most of my order incorrect, but the food was also cold (I only live about five minutes away so it should still be hot). I get that I probably should've checked my order before I left but the whole experience just left a sour taste in my mouth. The food is good enough when done right (only reason I'm not giving a 1-star review) but you guys need to fix your online ordering system and think about hiring staff that's capable of operating a restaurant smoothly. read more

We have been going here since it had opened over 12 years ago. However, in the last year, the food and mostly the service here is horrible. They can never get our orders right, even after having to remind them several times when placing the order it doesn't really make any difference. They still get the order wrong. And if you're planning on calling in to place an order, don't even bother. You'll be lucky if you get through. They put you on hold for over 15-20 mins before actually coming back on the phone to take your order. Guess the franchise owner doesn't want to fork over an extra 20 bucks to get an additional phone. Nor even bother to think of having more than one employee answering the phone. Sometimes we just show up after being placed on "hold" for an extended amount of time, and when we get there, come to find out they're not even busy OR on the phone. this is currently our familys favorite wing joint. my husband loves the garlic parmesan. although in my opinion u cant taste the garlic & it really barely has any flavor. i'm a fan of the original hot, not to hot, just enough kick. i also like the lemon pepper although it can be over seasoned & way too salty most of the time. our favorite is the fries. i would go here just for the fries. love the seasoning on them, salt & sugar i think? i crave these fries all the time! love how they close late...1am if i remember correctly. place is small tho, not enough seats for big groups. only con we can find is the price. thats why i only rated it a 4. other than that, delicious wings. read more

This review is based on the customer service i received. I called in an order for carry out. I was told the order would be ready in 13 minutes. When i arrived at the restaurant, 15 minutes had passed. My order wasn't ready. I waited an additional 25 minutes. I finally received my order. I drove home and opened the bag. My order was wrong. I called in and spoke with the manager and he advised me to come back so the order could be corrected. I drove back and it wasn't ready. I decided to get a full refund. Poor service. read more

The lemon-pepper wings are to die for, but the lack of ambiance created by a plethora of TVs (see Buffalo Wild Wings) and the lack of arcade games makes this place lack-luster for kids. I went in, told my name, the employee said my order was coming right up. about 10 minutes later, he said my order will be ready about 4 minutes, so I went to get gas for my car. I came back about 10 minutes later, still my order wasn't ready, I keep looking at me and said it's coming right up, several times. Finally I got my food, I asked him, "you guys don't start cooking the order until I get here, do you?", this was his response, "guess so.."! Now, this is the third consecutive time that it took about an hour for my order, I ordered just about the same thing everytime. I even tip them, but not this time. I figure they know me by now, but they were "playing with me", they could've been truthful about starting my order, but telling me several times "its coming right up", for a duration of 30 minutes. Lemon pepper wings were sub par at this location. Wings were super oily and flavorless. Also if you get wings with sauce on them they blend it with the oil. They really don't drain the wings properly. My Stomach was on woo. Don't recommend this location. read more
