An obnoxious group of teenagers (in the "closed" dining area) were swearing loudly in this extremely small storefront restaurant, and staff wouldn't be bothered to say anything to them. Awesome! The wings are fresh cooked to order and they have boneless as well, or get a mix. They have a nice variety of sauces and seasonings as well as sides. It'll be hard to not keep going back if your like wings. The space has a fancy soda dispensing machine and a few small tables in case you want to eat there. They have a number of different sauces and rubs for the wings which you can get bone-in or boneless. They also have a selection of sides including the quintessential veggies with bleu cheesed (or ranch) and few other sides. It is conveniently located next to Little Caesar's Pizza and Blenders in the Grass so you can get a whole mix for a meal at once. read more

Now, here is the rundown of my visit IDK how long it had been open, but i was probably visiting within a day or two of it opening. I ordered a soda, a fry, and a twenty piece wingless chicken wing meal. When you order this 20 piece, you get to pick your flavors (three in this case). I picked BBQ, Mild, and Hawaiian. The Mild was vaguely spicy but mostly salty. But srlsy good dipped in their mustard dip. The Hawaiian was the best of all. Super good, slightly sweet, a little bbq-y. Great with Ranch dip. BBQ was great. Sweet, smokey... You know, BBQ. Also good with the Ranch. The breading was super crispy, even though the wings were slathered in sauce I spilled a drink while there. No napkins so i could not clean it myself, but they came out promptly and cleaned up, assuring me it was no trouble. Staff was very nice. i had a fun time chatting when they popped by to ask how i was. All and all, a super good first visit. i hope to come in again! Dad loved the fries. Wing sizes tend to differ a lot but the quality of the chicken is always on point. A few times the delivery guys forget the utensils like napkins, forks, straws, etc. but that's not a complete deal breaker. I'll continue to come back to this location for the quality of chicken for sure. read more

Wow, talk about awful customer service. We placed an order in advance for 75 wings to be ready by 2:30pm the following day. We arrive at 2:30pm and we were told the wait would be another "20 minutes." We bit our tongue and figured we would wait it out, especially since it was a large order, and we did just place it the day before. Well the 20 minutes turned into over an hour wait. Are you kidding me? Furthermore, no reimbursement of any sort for the extra long wait, especially considering we had placed the order in advance, which I tried to rationalize as not being enough time to begin with! To top it off, we met another customer during our wait who had placed an order in over a week in advance and was still waiting for her order! If placing a large order the day before is not enough time, they need to put policies in place that designate more time in advance for larger orders. I will never come to this establishment again for large orders or parties. This establishment doesn't think being timely with orders is a priority and doesn't seem apologetic for a customer having to wait an abnormally long time past the original order time, that was made in advance. I would suggest going elsewhere. This situation was handled poorly. read more

We ordered the group wing pack. 40 wings. When we got home they were only 30 wings. I called the store and the person I spoke to said OK well if you come back will give you five more. I said but I ordered 40 and we are missing 10. Then she said will give you eight then. I asked to speak to the manager they put on a young woman that was the shift manager. She said that the Wingstop only gives you a portion of what you're missing. I asked to speak to the store manager and she said the manager was off the clock. I told her that is not good customer service I paid for 10 more chicken wings and that's what I should get. She became frustrated with me and said fine if you come now I'll give you 10. Needless to say I didn't even go back to pick up the 10. Unfortunately we will not be returning. Worst customer service ever. This is why I only go to the Oxnard location. Sam I guess is the manager there, first he tried to double charge me for a ranch. He asked me if I wanted to add one on and then didn't put it in the bag, when I asked for the ranch he told me I had to pay for it. I told him you just charged me and he then wanted to look at my receipt as if I was lying. I ordered a regular well-done fry, easy right? First of all my fries aren't well done at all they're soft and mushy, and second there wasn't even enough fries to cover the bottom of the tray that they came in. The person who helped us, I'm pretty sure he was the manager, was very rude. When I was trying to order he kept interrupting me and rolling his eyes. Also, while prepping food no gloves were worn. While we were the only two people in the place all phone orders were filled first and it took 25 mins for us to get our order (8 wings only and 10 wings and 1 fry) to go. Checked this place out for the first time and it was a good experience. I ordered at the location to go and they were pretty quick in getting my order out. I had the Korean BBQ wings and their hot wings and both were really good. They didn't skimp on the sauce and they cooked it to perfection. I ordered a side of ranch and didn't get it when I initially received my order, I guess the guy upfront did not hear me properly and forgot to charge me for it. Super yummy wings. My boyfriend and I get the combo- with 15 wings. He gets the spicy Cajun and I enjoy the garlic Parmesan! They cook them perfectly! The fries are okay..I like them crispier..you can ask for Cajun fries! They hook it up with the 2 dipping sauces in the combo and it cam with 2 drinks. They have a trippy soda machine that is touch screen with tonzzz of flavas to choose from! That was fun! And the staff is friendly..we chatted about the most popular flavors. Best part! Here are my issues: 1-You are not allowed to order 6 wings unless you get a combo. I didn't want a combo so I got the 10 wings (which is minimum order). 2 - I was the only customer in the shop but it still took 10 minutes too complete my order (do they cook to order or just add the sauce and heat up?) 3 - When they handed me my order I asked for ranch and was told it's an extra 96 cents (for which I would have to go back in line to pay). Had the 10 piece wing combo with fries and drink today. Was awesome and filling. Shelby was awesome and very informative. They are very generous with the dipping sauce. Other places tend to be stingy with it. I left with a warm and happy tummy. I love wings but don't order it often as many places in California aren't that good. Having lived in Albany, NY during college days I guess I've been spoiled with how good the wings i am used to are. Howlers comes to mind. This place is good as that, and Howlers is world famous in Buffalo. I will be back to Wing Stop but not too much as I will surely get fat with the generous helpings they have. Went in with my family and it was our first time here. They have an awesome deal on a party pack that fed us all..$30 for 3 different styles of wings(10each), fries, and carrots and celery with ranch. We tried the hickory smoked bbq, garlic parmesan, and the Louisiana rub. All very very good. Meaty wings. Plenty of food. The Crew pack it was called. I struggled with the napkin situation as it's just a roll of brown restroom quality paper towel with no perforations, so you just rip off pieces and hand them around, kinda sloppy feeling. The employees were training and we were patient as the cashier took a couple of tries to get our order entered. We've all been there, so not a big deal. Only reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is that it took about 1/2hr to get our food and the napkin situation has got to go! Wingstop, get real napkins please.
