I have used the online ordering and 2 times in a row now I have ordered an extra dipping sauce only to get home and find out that they did not include it! We have paid for it both times too! I have never had a problem with this place until yesterday night. We ordered online to pick up which was about 15-20 min and when we arrived to pick up our order it turned out we had to wait a couple more minutes which is absolutely no problem but, we started noticing that people kept keeping in and ordering and leaving within 10-15min, my boyfriend then asked one of the employees if any of the 2 bags that were on the shelves were ours and he said no. We waited patiently and to top it off the soda machine had absolutely no drinks besides "diet lemonade, Diet Coke, diet Dr Pepper, etc..." we were there for almost 40 MINUTES!!! This is the SALTIEST food I have ever tried. And I love salt. My husband placed a delivery ordered with Wingstop. 45 min later we have no food (and live a block from Wingstop. We usually go in but it was late.) and got a call from Wingstop they said "your order is wrong, send it back to us!" Apparently they use 3rd party delivery so the driver was baffled. Me and my boyfriend ordered online at this Wingstop, we waited the set amount of time (25min) we arrived gave our name paid and waited another plus 10 minutes, assuming they hadn't started our food yet or barely begun? They all new we had an order we were the only people in the store. My family and I have been going to Wingstop for almost twenty years, and we were happy to see one opening here in Ventura. Unfortunately, after tonight's visit, we won't ever be going back. Wingstop has the best food -- great fries, crisp veggies, delicious sauces, and wings to die for. Unfortunately, it's very hard to get it, or get what you ordered at this restaurant -- and forget about getting it in the 17 minutes they promise. It takes at least twice that, every time. But maybe you're the type who doesn't mind a wait... How do you feel about haphazard pricing? We always order naked wings with the sauce on the side. Sometimes we get it at no extra charge, sometimes we're belligerently told we have to pay a separate charge for what we would get on the wings for free. Want to sub an item for something else? Take a sedative first or, if you're confident you're laid back enough to handle the gross incompetence that will inevitably follow, bring popcorn, sit back, and watch the show. At this point you are no doubt thinking management will step in and make it right. Think again. They say a fish rots from the head down. So too does a business, and this is so rotten it stinks. I showed up 10 min prior to my requested pick-up time and after a 3 minute wait for someone to saunter up to the register so that I could pay for my order. Shortly after I paid, my order was put up from the kitchen. The lackadaisical counter person walked right past the order to go to the back. Tried this new location out last night and was surprised and actually impressed. We ordered the 15 piece combo with atomic and original hot flavors, WELL DONE. That little part is huge for my family. We hate eating fatty, soft skinned wings! Extra crispy/well done is the only way to go! The wings tasted great and the sauces were on point!! Our order also came with a large fry which was delicious! and two drinks. My only complaint is that they were out of cheese sauce!! Which kinda killed my meal as that was one of the main reasons i chose this place for dinner. Also, their ranch is so good!! Way better than that prepacked hidden valley crap most places use! The food isn't bad, this one star review is purely for the way I felt being there. I was waiting in line to order and as soon as the gentleman in front of me was done and payed. A younger woman with short bleach hair came up to the employee at the register and started telling him you can't do this and was rude to him, at least this is the way I saw it. I don't think they should be reprimanding employees in front of customers. The other gentleman and myself were uncomfortable with the situation. I first had Wingstop in Texas and loved it ! I'm from Oxnard and went to the one there and I was disappointed . I decided to give this one a try and was impressed. It did take a while to receive the order, so if you are getting it to go I would recommend calling in your order. These songs were very fresh though , and crispy so it was worth the wait .
