We were passing through town and stopped at Wingz and Thingz for dinner and were pleasantly surprised with how fresh and delicious everything was! We ordered the Buffalo ranch fries, which were fresh and the right amount of crispy and saucey. They also were a big portion which felt like a good value for the price. The star of the show were the tenders slathered with their signature OMG flavor, which is a combo of their garlic Parmesan, lemon pepper, and mild buffalo. The tenders were fresh and crispy and the flavor profile was incredible!! We followed it up with the honey garlic wings which were also so good. No photos were taken since we dug right in as soon as it was served, leaving no evidence behind. The wings themselves were fried instead of baked, which was nice reminded me of how real buffalo wings are made. But that's where the niceness ends. The buffalo sauce was very salty. The honey bbq was more like a honey mustard. Their fries would have been good plai, but i spent the extra $4 for garlic thinking they were regular garlic fries you would order anywhere else. No, they are fries topped with their very salty garlic wing sauce, I could not even get through half of them. This almost unstomachable meal cost me about $32. My frys are soggy and limp and my lemon pepper is actually ice cold lemon juice with pepper in it. I would say the best in this area that I've had. Its hit and miss when they are open, but treat yourself when you see an open window for a pack of wings. My teenage boys want to go every week and I tell them no most of the time because I'm a cheapskate, and I know if I go, we'll pound $40 of wings in the flash of an eye. I like mixing it up with half honey BBQ and half buffalo flavor. I was once pulled over while eating Wingz and speeding to the airport to pick up family. The trooper commented on how good my lunch looked and I offered him a sample. The folks were friendly and the portions were generous but that's literally all I can't say that isn't negative. I actually got angry at my meal and wanted to punch it. Finally! A decent wing spot in the area. We ordered a 20 piece combo to share. The flavors we chose were Lemon Pepper (Lemon Delight), Medium (Wild Wild West), and their new flavor, Mango Habanero. We also asked for a side of the Kung Fu Kick sauce. Flavor of the wings were good, however, they weren't really spicy enough for us. Maybe next time we'll try the Hot (Blazin).
