Can't believe they lie about fresh fried chicken! This is 3rd and last time we will buy fried chicken from this Winn Dixie! Jan 11. 2025, Tasted like it was sitting all day and it was overfried! This was after we called to ask when they would put out fresh! Got there 10 minutes after we were told would be fresh! Awful and wish we returned it but had to be somewhere not near them! This was supposed to be an easy transaction because I ordered online for pick up. Boy was I in for a surprise. Firstly, there is no confirmation button in the app or number to call upon arrival. When Tammy finally came out and delivered my groceries, I get home and noticed that I'm missing an entire bag with my sausage and buns. I called back to make them aware of my missing items and was met with passive aggressiveness. Not one apology on the behalf of Winn-Dixie (as expensive as groceries are) just a blame game on DoorDash. It was really off putting to know that Jess, the manager, could not understand the cost let along the inconvenience of the situation. One cashier had a bad day at the Zephyrhills store. Complained to assistant manager and was told customers can have that affect -dang, I'm a customer! This assistant manager likes to use the F word. Anyway went back to speak with the store manager not the assistant and was met with all kinds of resistance. Finally got to talk with Mike but wasn't really satisfied with his answers. After reading these reviews here, sounds like the norm at that store in Zephyrhills. If Aldi's takes over this store I can see a few people looking for jobs. read more

Just give up all ready and put in the Aldi. I waited 20 minutes at the deli not because it was busy (there were 3 customers) but because one employee was helping us while the other 2 employees were cleaning up. One of the employees was cleaning the meat slicer as she was looking at the customers. The other was in back washing dishes. No wonder the Aldi bought them out and Publix kicks their butts. Horrible. Stood in line at the front desk for about 3 minutes while the cashier tried to help the lady in front of me. Then she looks at me, and tells the guy behind me that she can help him. I look at her and ask if she doesn't see me, she says the guy was there first. Not sure how when he was behind me. Then I went into the bathroom and walked right out. It stunk, paper products all over the floor. Was like they haven't cleaned in weeks. I will never come back here. read more

Rude employees in this store but one thing about me... I CAN RECIPROCATE THAT ENERGY! The quality of their meats, seafood, produce & deli is OVERPRICED & mediocre. Today the guy in the seafood department blantantly ignored my husband and I while we were waiting at the counter for service. I literally had to get loud and say HELLOOOOO is anybody working here today? The MF was standing a foot away running his mouth with the meat dept guy like we weren't there. He stormed over to the counter looking stupid. I inquired about the salmon. He advised that their seafood department only has farm raised salmon. Eww. They don't have wildcaught salmon. I just walked off. Because you could tell that his redneck azz was mad he had to stop talking & actually assist a customer. I'll go back to Publix where shopping is a pleasure because don't tolerate rude mannerless people when I'm spending my money. I had a problem with my card, at Winn-Dixie when I went to pay for my groceries, a lady by the name of Rose, who works at the front desk, came over and help me out, I am normally in a wheelchair, but when I go to Winn-Dixie. Someone drops me off at the front door and I get one of those carts to drive around in and buy my groceries. I know they've got the Winn-Dixie on State Road 54 is where I go but that's not true,I try to go to the one in Dade City because Rose is there and she is a good store person. I think she is a front end supervisor, but not sure, And the manager is great too, if you go to this place, I shouldn't say place but go to Winn-Dixie in Dade City Florida. Tell him Poppy sent you. if I need something in an emergency, I go to the Winn-Dixie on State Road 54 because I'm not supposed to drive that much anymore. And if you want delivery from Winn-Dixie in Dade City, I'm quite sure they will accommodate for you. oh yes by the way, the prices are excellent. I know the prices of groceries have gone up in the past few months but it seems like the one in Dade City, that is Winn-Dixie. Seems like they're holding some of their old prices. Like I say, the manager, the young woman, and the young lady Rose, who helped me when my card wouldn't work are very accommodating and helping you. I like going there when I can. read more

Bought boneless pork loin for $1.49lb. Check out charged me full price except for 4 of them. My favorite buddy, the guy who doesn't talk or smile, told me it's only 4 per customer. I told him the sign at the meat department did not reflect that. Saw a manager and asked him if he could come over. I explained to him about the meat. His reply, "Not sure if it's posted next to the meat but it's posted in the weekly flyer." I told him I do not look at the weekly flyer. He said, "That's not my problem." I asked my favorite buddy to cancel all of the pork loins and I would buy the 4 biggest packages. This manager and my favorite buddy should not be dealing with customers. I guess I'll return to the best Winn Dixie in the area in Wesley Chapel. Nice people with excellent customer service. This Winn Dixie needs customer service training. We wanted to give the deli another try because the prices were lower than publix. The employee was extremely rude to us and acted like it was too much trouble to slice cold cuts. We did not order everything we wanted, it just wasn't worth dealing with the rudeness. Everything she sliced was much thicker than she originally showed us, so it seemed she just wanted to get it over with. I'll go back to publix. Too bad though, because the quality of product is good. read more

This store appears to raise prices only to offer a BOGO "deal". Takes forever to get an order filled at the deli. Very, very few real deals.

The Store Manager is awsome . she's very professional ( Latina ) helpful , curtious and all around approachable about any situation or concern. She leads by a great example of self service to her customers. 10 stars would'nt be enough . The Winn Dixie on CR 54 Is always clean and well stocked. They have sales on meat Friday thru Sunday and a weekly flyer. They have a butcher on premise and they will cook your seafood when asked. Most of the time check out is very fast. It's a nice and friendly place to shop. read more

I have shopped at all Wynn dixies in this area.They all require ID for purchasing beer.. Well, that's okay, but they want your ID out of your billfold so they can scan it into their system.That is asking for too much info.I will buy all my beer someplace else..(and that is alot)By the way, I am 81yrs.of age. This is my favorite grocery store in town. The prices are sometimes a little higher than other stores, but with my Winn-Dixie card, I can still get good deals. The store is kept clean and neat, and all of their products are easy to find. Everyone who works in the deli section are always so helpful and kind. Their meat is also decently priced as well. The employees in the various departments are always kind and willing to assist you in any way they can. Winn-Dixie also has a self-checkout line, which I love. Employees are also standing by in case you have a problem checking out an item. read more

I haven't been to a Winn Dixie in maybe a decade. And let me just say, I was pleasantly surprised!! Prices are so much cheaper than target and Publix, so many helpful staffers ready to help, clean and well organized as well. Will be coming back to grocery shopping on the regular. read more

This is a great grocery store if you live near Zephyrhills. The employees are always helpful and nice. The sales are well posted and you can generally double coupons with manufacturer and store combos. Extra plus - the gas points earned on a store card can be used across the street at Sunoco. read more

It's a grocery store a necessity n life. My problem here is being handicaped trying to park near door is helpful. This store you have one door to go in then the exit is all the way at the other end/side of store. When you have a problem walking this is a major inconvenience. Back in the summer their COVID precautions were minimal. And our county, Pasco, mandates that face masks be worn by all employees and customers. Early on there were people who ignored the law and when I asked the manager what they were doing about it, he said all they could do was ask and that Winn Dixie did not have a mask policy. There is a sanitizer dispenser by the door. But since the virus is mainly spread through the air, the sanitizer is not that important. However, since that time the virus has surged and now there is a more easily transmittable variant. Yet when I went in today to get some needed items, I counted at least 20 people with NO masks and an equal number with a mask that did not cover their noses. Talk about virus city. The management of this store just does not seem to care if their customers live or die. And this in a town with a high percentage of senior citizens at this time of the year. I can understand the stupidity of customers, but the management has abdicated their responsibility to maintain safety and legal requirements in their store. I will no longer visit this store and instead will use the Publix on US 301 a few miles away. When I have been there I have noticed almost 100% compliance with the ordinance and I have even asked to see the manager to thank him for caring about my safety. Unfortunately, Winn Dixie could not care less. Disgraceful. Think about this situation if you value your health. read more

Great Wynn Dixie location and store. There are plenty of alternative locations to get groceries but this place is great. Bakery has a nice selection. Meet is always good. They could have a better specialty foods. Lacks gluten free alternatives. Local fliers have good coupons. We will be back. read more
