Today, yet again, I was unable to park in the designated Instacart pickup spot because someone who was just going inside to shop took that spot. I had to park in the middle of the street just to get my groceries. This has been an ongoing issue, and despite it being brought up before, management has done nothing about it. At this point, it's beyond frustrating. If Publix is going to offer Instacart pickup as a service, then someone -- ideally a GM -- needs to step in and actually enforce the designated parking policy. Otherwise, what's the point? Other grocery stores don't allow this kind of thing to happen. It feels like customer convenience and safety aren't being prioritized here, and I'm honestly at the point where I'm considering canceling my Instacart membership and taking my business elsewhere. This Publix Deli department is a joke, I'm not sure if they are getting their employees from McDonalds but the level is service here is incompetent. We ordered (2) subs as clearly notate on picture below. Lady who attended my husband was rude, had poor customer service skills and communication skills. Stated we made the order wrong my husband politely tried to explain the information input it in the app. Employee became disrespectful did not like the reaction received. Reported to GM and DM all in which tried to fix employee mess up. I don't want free subs or to get any sort of service from here is definitely not a pleasure to shop here, there is many Publix around with way better service. read more

I have been coming here regularly for over 5 years. The managers and staff are great and always go out of their way when I need something. I don't think I've ever needed to wait very long if I needed help finding produce, getting meat cut, or getting a cake from the bakery. The store, including bathrooms, is always clean and well-stocked. It is a smaller store so it's easier to find what you need and get out quickly. The pharmacy staff is personable and helpful. read more

I love this Publix! It's a bit on the smaller side of Publix stores but you can't really tell - it just makes it easier to find your Publix fave bogo deals and their variety of already-made/deli foods. Speaking of their already-made prepared foods, this location is one of my favorites for buying anything in that section of sandwiches, potato salads, hot foods, and chicken wings. Obviously, all Publix stores prepare their foods the same way, but to me this one always makes my Publix Subs so perfectly. There were times at other Publix locations where my subs were too messy, or too flat but I've never experienced that before at this location. Also, the fried chicken, potato wedges and mac n' cheese taste really good here. There are some prepared foods here that are not available at the Publix locations in Wesley Chapel (the next town to this location). As always at all Publix locations, the staff here offer great customer service and are willing to help you find whatever you need. read more

Publix sucks!! I went by there to order a 12 piece chicken strips "family meal" and it was ridiculous how they treated me! This same thing happened last time, but I thought I'd give them a second chance, and they failed two times in a row! The guy working in the deli, didn't even know they have a 12 piece chicken strips meal. He told me that the chicken strips were not on special this week. Which I told him he was correct. This wasn't special. It was the regular priced item, I had to show him it on the wall board above him and explain to him what the meal consisted of. The "family meal" comes with two sides, four rolls, and four sauces. So he gets someone else to help him put it all together and starts putting prices on everything separately. they tell me at the register it'll be sorted out. They just have to mark it for inventory. I told him I didn't think that was correct, but there was no manager in Delhi today and I was told to go to customer service. !So I go to customer service and of course they rang everything up and it comes up the wrong price $39. and they tell me the exact same thing. The chicken strips are not on special and that I was supposed to get this straightened out in Delhi. I tell her there's no manager in Delhi and I have to explain to her that it's not a special price it's a regular price item on their menu. this whole time they're treating me like I'm trying to get something for nothing. I'm just trying to pay for what I ordered which is already $27.99! that I already asked the deli department to correct it, and I was told to come to customer service. !So once again customer service is like we'll take care of you this time! NO! Stop treating me like you're doing something special for me, I'm just trying to pay for my food at the marked price! !I'm done with Publix! Not sure what happened to this store but it is failing. This store used to be great but it has nose dived in the past few months. Their produce department is always out of the things I am looking for, it's torture to the employees if you need help at the seafood counter and the front staff is inattentive and too busy chatting amongst themselves to even acknowledge you. I never minded paying a higher price because the store was stocked and they had great customer service. If this what they are offering now I am going to shop elsewhere. It's truly a shame. read more

I'm not really sure why this Publix gets such a bad rap from other users. When I was first moving into the area, I saw the reviews and wondered what I was getting into. I'm happy to report that the rumors of this Publix being the worst ever are highly exaggerated. In fact, their warm customer service, great deli, and meat department more than make up for any shortcomings. The employees here are not just friendly but work hard to get to know their customers. I often shop late because of my job, and the cashiers recognize me and will chat about my day. They notice things like dented packages and make sure I get the best quality item. That's happened more than once while I frantically grabbed things on my way through the store, so their diligence is appreciated. The thing I love most is the fish counter and their steamed fish. Wow. What a time saver! I'll often stop at that counter first, order a piece of fish steamed (I ask for the garlic sauce...yum), then finish my shopping before picking it up. So fresh, healthy, inexpensive, and decadent. The parking lot is kept really free of carts at this location, which I appreciate. A truly helpful group of people inside, great merchandise, and a pleasure to shop. read more

The pharmacy at this store is just plain awful. The pharmacists here believe they know better than the prescribing doctors. If you have an opiate medication I recommend you go somewhere else. They will stall filling your pain medication as long as they can, no matter how many times you've had it filled here. Go somewhere else that respects their customers, this place doesn't. read more

Eddie Johnson in the Deli has a problem with respecting diversity or respect for the time of customers. On at least three occasions the latest of which was 3/22/11; I have been in line and Eddie has with no regards for me being in line taken another customer that had just walked up. He has failed to acknowledge my presence each time. I shop that deli multiple times a week and the issue has existed with him. I absolutely have no other issues with the store. Worst Publix ever! Not only does this location have a limited variety, but their staff is under qualified for Publix standards. The cashier had an unwarranted chip on her shoulder from the moment we were in her line. She ignored me when I greeted her and treated us very rudely. The Manager was no different when she had to be asked about a coupon. Take the extra 15 minutes and drive to the Bruce B Downs Publix in Wesley Chapel. This Publix has been pretty good to me. They load up their subs with meat more than most Publixs and that is a big deal because all Publixs really load it on there. Being in Zephyrhills, the crowd here is a bit older. That being the case, I expected to be a bit neglected as a younger person. But they did not neglect me. They treated me with great customer service on all of the occasions I came in here. Considering this was close to my work and not my home, I never went here for any full-on hardcore grocery shopping adventures, but they always seemed to be clean and well stocked. Coming here at lunch time, I have never had to deal with a big sub line or a big check out line. Even the regular deli line seems to move pretty quick (and those can really get backed up). The store is located in the back of a big parking lot. There is a Home Depot there, and a Wendy's and a Subway and a few other businesses in in the same strip mall or located just around it. There is really only one entrance from each of the cross roads, so getting in and getting out can be a bit of a pain sometimes. Overall the building looks very new. It is possible that this Publix deserves 5 stars instead of 4, but because parking is a bit of a pain and I really have not tested them with a hardcore grocery shopping adventure, I decided to round down. Nevertheless, you cannot go wrong shopping here, I really like the Publix brand. read more

But trying to exit left back onto Eiland is most always a nightmare given the increased and relentless volume of traffic. Tried raising the issue with their Corporate office...of the frustration and danger at that exit...and suggested they consider wielding their considerable political and financial muscles (along with Home Depot at that location) to get a traffic signal installed...but no response. I like this Publix. They are not as crowded on the weekdays but on the weekends its a nightmare. This past Saturday it took me about an hour to get through the aisles and do my shopping. So glad the deli has the "pull a number" system otherwise you would never get waited on here. Can't give it five because they don't have a very good meat department like the other Publix locations on Bruce B Downs Blvd, but they have a good bakery & a great deli selection of Boars Head. This Publix is always very clean and usually isn't too crowded when I go. When I get my subs here, they are the best Publix subs I have ever had. The store overall is always clean and I have never seen the bathroom dirty. Employees are all very friendly, especially up at customer service. Prices are reasonable and I love the BOGO deals. There are new deals every week and there are always a few great finds that they display at the front of the isles for you. This store is always well stocked and keeps the shelves clean and organized. The set up of this store is a little different than the one that is closer to my house, but I find it much more functional and aesthetically pleasing. This is my local go to store for everything. I've always had great, friendly service in the store, bakery, pharmacy and deli. I have placed numerous online orders for dinner as well as for bakery and deli items. I placed a large order a few weeks ago preparing for a gathering, the deli called me to confirm my order and I thought everything was good to go. I went to pick up the order and it wasn't ready. I was so disappointed and anxious because I needed this food for an event that I was hosting. Panic definitely set in! On to my four star review... yes I was panicked but after calling the store manager, she did everything she could to help and they even delivered my order. The food was great.
