I've been here for a pedicure for over an hour. It took the guy 40 mins to remove polish and file and trim. Keep in my mind my toe nails were not long at all and just done two weeks ago. The water is not warm so it's unpleasant soaking in cool water. He smells like cigarettes and it's killing my head. When he does the massage portion he only uses one hand and light finger tips. I am extremely underwhelmed for the price I'm paying. My legs are wrapped in warm towels that went cool of course two mins later and they are still on 15 mins later ice cold. I do not recommend this place. Most of my morning is gone now. read more

This used to be a great salon. Now $30 plus a fee for using a credit card gets you a twenty minute pedicure with a surly tech. No massage of feet or legs. No real callous removal. After polish was applied she handed me a piece of white paper with 30 written on it and walked away. No help getting shoes back on, or getting out of the chair. I had to help my sister as she had the same experience. Will NOT be back! read more

I normally don't go to this nail salon but was in a pinch and needed the gel polish taken off my finger nails and get a manicure with no polish. I thought it was easy enough to do so I figured it wasn't too much of a risk to go to a salon I don't normally frequent. An older woman came over to me and started the process by drilling away 90% of the nail polish on my nails instead of soaking them first. Then after haphazardly putting cotton balls with acetone on them. She hardly waited anytime at all to pulled them off to start scrapping the polish off of my nails. The polish wasn't ready so I figured she would put the cotton balls and foil back on to wait, she did not. She grabbed her drill again and continued to drill the rest of the polish off. I asked her to stop drilling away at my nails and she said she "had to". I was mortified to see how eaten up my nails were from them the gel being drilled off. I voiced my concerns and a manager came over and said it was as good as they could do. And they could pu clear polish on to try to cover all the damage. You can see from the picture that it didn't help at all. Don't go to these people. Lazy, unprofessional, and horrible customer service. read more

I have been going to Winn Nail Studio since Tyff closed and I've been very happy with their services. I go every two weeks for a deluxe pedicure with Ann and a dip nail fill with either Lee or Weather. They are all excellent technicians. The salon is very clean and well laid out with pedicure stations on one side and nail stations on the other side. And there's plenty of parking. I highly recommend this salon. I suggest booking appointments in advance because, as with most businesses post COVID, they are having a hard time finding enough staff to handle walk-ins. read more

I found this nail salon after trying another recommendation from a beauty supply associate. Her nails looked great but it didnt work oyt for me. I found Winn nails by happenstance. I walked in and was warmly greeted by the owner( i had no clue ) she asked me what I needed and I requested DIPP and a mani/pedi in a french manicure color. She had me sit down in an empty spot, Weather came over and asked me to oick a color, i replied i only do french manicure, so he began to work. I explained last experience to which Weather replied " Are u normally hard on ur nails?" I answered that no Im not but I do only come in for nails once per month, every three weeks! He smiled and said, " Hopefully u will be pleased with my work, of not, please be sure and let Lee the owner know about any problems that come up!" I said " I dont usually make a big deal about things, but tge last salon didnt place tge dip powder on thick enough, and when I mentioned it to the nail tech, he said, " Dont worry, U'll b fine!!" Which made me even more angry at the fact that he was warned!! Weather made sure to take his time with me, checking with me on the thickness of my nails, as well as the color of the pink powder, as well as the width, and the length and even how I wanted the curvature!! As soon as he began to check everything with me prior to finishing or even placing my nails into the UV lighting!! As soon as I realized that he was going to check into my expectations until I was pleased I knew tgat I was FINALLY in the correct place!! I have been asked by literLly dozens of people around town where i go for my nails, I actually carry their business cards!! Whike I was there last week I overheard the owner Lee speaking to the fact that sometimes customers dont like the fact that we speak in Vietnamese to each other and we have had a few complaints, I quickly responded to her and the other nail techs in the room, I learned a long time ago, tgat everytime someone is talking in another language in my presence it does not mean that tgey r speaking about me!! In fact even if they r, what they think of me, is quite frankly none of my business!! As a matter of fact, for someone to assume that, they r behaving narcissisticly, everything in life, isnt ALWAYS ABOUT U!! Lee giggled, and thanked me for me for my opinion but reminded me that we dont all think the same way, and they nor she, nor the other nail techs would want to ever hurt someone's feelings!! Which I thought was very sweet of her! If it were my business, Id hope that Id be too busy to be worried about someones feelings bein hurt!! Me pedicurist is Ann, SHE IS THE ONLY TECH THAT I WILL ALLOW TO TOUCH MY PIGGIES!! ANN HAS THE HANDS OF A MASSEUSE! She is meticulous when it comes to her clients and her work!! She is gentle yet if she needs to get in there and dig out a hangnail, shes ALL OVER IT!! Ann takes her time on the massage with hot rocks, as well as the massage! I almost wished that she had done my manicure but I love Weathers hands so lucky for him Im very loyal!! .
