I took a chance went back and another woman has now cut me and i can tell it's going to be infected. - i just want to add- that i didn't know it happened when it did otherwise i absolutely would have said something during the pedicure. Have been to this business two separate times...both times for a pedicure/foot massage. On my first time there, with my being unfamiliar with exactly what is included in their described pedicure/foot massage "packages", and as an elderly person, I quietly sat down awaiting the pampering of my poor aching aged feet/nails. I was then shown a written available "menu" of "packages" to choose from by my pedicurist. I chose the "$52.00" pedicure/massage package treatment. After the completion of the treatment, when I walked up to the Front Desk to pay, and my pedicurist said "$52.00", but then a woman who was sitting at the manicure desk which was directly next to the Front Desk, interrupted stating "No, $59.00." I was a little confused as to why I was charged an additional $7.00, but I did not want to make a scene, so I paid the demanded $59.00 plus gave what I considered to be a generous tip, totalling $69.00, and quietly left. On my second time there, I noticed the same woman was sitting at the same manicurist desk which was directly next to the Front Desk. (I got the distinct impression, as I witnessed her frequently "barkIng" what sounded like "orders in their obvious preferred foreign language" to the employees there in the salon, that she was most likely The Person In Charge or The Owner.) Again, I quietly sat down in anticipation of enjoying a pedicure/foot massage, and then chose the "$52.00" pedicure/foot massage package treatment, again. I recall asking the pedicurist "Does the $52.00 package include the massage with hot stones?" The pedicurist stated "Yes." I paid closer attention this time to the practices of my pedicurist during my chosen treatment, and observed that this time, THREE additional packages of some sort of lotions/creams were used on me. I recall thinking "I said that I wanted the $52.00 package, so all those extras they MUST BE INCLUDED in that price." Right? WRONG, apparently!!! When my treatment was completed and I went to pay at the Front Desk, the same woman who was sitting in the manicurist desk which was directly next to the Front Desk interrupted "No, $69.00". I was quite dumbfounded, and thought to myself "What is going on here?" But I again, quietly paid the demanded $69.00 but added no tip this time. After I left, I gave some thought to my two visits to this salon for their pedicure/foot massage treatments. I believe that this salon lures clients in with the written "menus" and the fees for each "package", but then ADD unrequested/unapproved items into that person's treatment and then...WHAM...hit them with an inflated bill at the time of services, and them demanding payment for such. INCREDIBLE!!! SCANDALOUS!!! CONCLUSION: My advise is to "STAY AWAY" because, I believe, this business is "A DISREPUTABLE SALON". In my opinion, some people apparently feel that it is okay to practice such unscrupulous, unprofessional, unethical business practices. I do NOT. I do NOT appreciate such behaviors/actions, and I will NEVER AGAIN provide this establishment with my patronage. I shall go elsewhere and ask more questions next time about what services/products, EXACTLY, I am buying/paying for in my chosen pedicure/foot massage treatment. This profession and these types are not exactly The Rocket Science Type, after all. These types are "A dime/a dozen." Call me "Old fashioned", but I still think "Honesty" and "Integrity" are unfortunately an uncommon practice in today's world. SADLY and commonly true, I fear. read more

Went in for a removal of my acrylics. They were a fairly new set (3-4 weeks). Customer service was terrible. The quality of my service was terrible. The vibe was uncomfortable and they seemed pissed I walked in after making an appointment on Sunday. The dude at chair three didn't even soak my nails and just started hacking at them with cuticle nippers. It hurt like hell! I told him at least 3 times that he was hurting me. Dude DID NOT care. I still have some acrylic left on my nails after paying 20 bucks for 5 minutes of bull. And he stood there rudely like I was supposed to tip! Ha! Here's a tip for you, don't work at a place if you can't stand your job!!! I was trying to keep my new growth underneath the acrylics too and he cut everything off. I'm pissed. Went to get both mani and pedi done. Asked for a luxury pedi and the nail tech doing my pedi did not allow me to select from the different scents offered. When filing for my manicure, the nail tech cut into my cuticle and finger. Then proceeded to tell me that it didn't hurt and that I need to take better care of my cuticles. Another nail tech next to her laughs and asks what happened. She then points to her own hand at a bruise and says "see I got hurt but I'm ok." I don't appreciate being mocked for the nail techs inability to properly file my nails. in addition to that 4 of the gel x nails fell off a day later. The reason they gave me for them not lasting was because I don't take care of my cuticles and have sensitive nails so she didn't file correctly. These are hands down the best quality nails I've gotten. I've had these on for 5 WEEKS and they haven't lifted or broken. I am very hard on my nails and I usually break a couple before a fill, but I've traveled, packed suitcases, worked out everyday, wrapped and unwrapped packages for Christmas, and went snowboarding for a week. I called nearly every salon in town and they were closed on Sundays but Cherry's was able to take me with no issues. I am somewhat new to town and have been trying to replace my home nail salon in Phoenix. I was recommended to try Cherrys nails I set a nail appointment and showed up. I was given the guy in the third booth. I asked him a few questions about my nails and his tone and response was extremely dismissive- making me feel stupid. I was nervous to ask him exactly how I wanted my nails to look - even though I am paying for the service. This employee was extremely rough with my nails, cutting into my skin multiple times and letting it bleed - saying oops once he realized I was pulling back because it hurt. My fingers are cut everywhere & i have never had this type of experience before. I have tried several places in town however this was hands down the worst service I have ever had. My fingers hurt He made me feel so uncomfortable. I would have easily doubled his tip,  if he was friendly and patient and gentle on my nails and skin   At one point, I was trying really hard not to cry. I was nervous to complain, being one of the last ones in the salon. He did not clean my nails up towards the end, which left my skin stained. I have washed my hands over and over (including a shower)  since getting them done yesterday and is still stained on my skin. The pictures I took today reflect the poor service & quality I had, after paying over $100 for this. My camera quality is not the best, therefore I took multiple pictures and angles showing how cut my fingers are after one day of this service One of the most expensive places I have ever been to, on top of everything. So sorry I had to write a bad review on the salon. Unfortunately, one employee can ruin the whole experience. This was very unsettling. read more
