We decided to stay here because of the location to some of the shopping and attractions my wife wanted to do while there! * Definitely like how close it is to everything. * The staff has been nice during our once meeting during checkin. Since then I haven't had the need to go to the office for anything. * It's definitely NOT a resort. * We didn't use any of the pools because it was cold but the park does have two nice pools. * Our site was decent and somewhat level and quiet. Not really a resort; more of a trailer park vibe. Multiple aged out RV units used as permanent residences throughout. Continual parade of speeding vehicles. Cats everywhere. Sketchy looking people walking about. I had multiple daily camera alerts for cats, which are everywhere, and people letting their pets use my site as a bathroom mere inches off the outdoor mat. Unprofessional & Disrespectful Customer Service I had a very disappointing experience on 10/7/2025 around 12:11 PM when I called to ask about an RV violation. I spoke with a woman named Kelly, who was extremely sarcastic, rude, and kept repeating the same thing over and over without explaining the issue clearly. When I asked for clarification, she hung up on me. I called back to speak with a supervisor, and a man named Harry answered. He claimed he overheard the call and said Kelly wasn't rude, which felt like a complete dismissal of my concerns. When I asked for a higher manager's contact info, he refused to give it and then ended the call by saying "Well, that's it--thank you for calling," and hung up on me as well. As a new RV park guest, I expected a welcoming and respectful experience. I was unaware of the violations that were mentioned. I was just trying to understand what happened so I can go back and inform my Husband. This type of customer service is unacceptable, and I hope this is addressed seriously. This will be our third year coming here. It's a nice place with nice people. We feel safe here. We're sort of picky and don't really tolerate dirty or unsafe RV parks. If it wasn't good we wouldn't return. We have stayed from January to March. The staff people are always friendly and caring. The surrounding neighborhood is nice and I regularly walk downtown and to the lake. A great place to winter. They have lots of activities, 2 clean pools, a workout facility and clean safe laundry areas. The grounds are kept up. It's not fancy, but I believe it's a good value for the price. I've had no complaints or issues on the two Winters we have spent there. read more

Kim and Sherry are fantastic gals! I met Kim upon my first visit to the campground and have also dealt with her over the phone for reservations. Kim went out of her way to help us find the perfect campsite and was even accommodating in giving us ideas on where we could do our daily family exercises. Sherry assisted me during my current stay and is as pleasant and professional as I remember. Upon arrival my family was starving as we had been up for hours and had nothing to eat. Sherry offered us some donuts that they had at the office. We were so grateful as it took another couple of hours to find the perfect site and set up, and we were out of propane to boot! The grounds were well manicured, pool clean and lots of workers were busy at work clearing trees and trimming shrubs. Everyone at the campground is nice except for a few grumpy visitors who might be passing through, but those are the folks who are used to ignoring their neighbors in the burbs. This is the RV life and we are a family. Look out for your neighbor, help them when you see the need and a hello is what it is all about. If you can't manage it take this years bonus and go someplace other than a family campground or resort. I digress. I met with the manager during my first stay and we had a wonderful conversation. This campground is definitely one to consider for a long term stay the residents are welcoming and there is tons close by. Winter Garden is a very quiet bedroom community that boasts wonderful schools and excellent neighborhoods to call home. Some of the folks we met lived here whilst their home was being built. I like that there are enough camp tables all over. Plenty of trees for shade. Drivers are courteous so kids can ride their bikes and you can walk your dog in peace. This campground has some of the best kids I've seen at any campground during my almost two years on the road. Activities are posted where you can easily see them. The lanes are not over run with crazy people on golf carts. In short it's just calm and homey here. Even the maintenance crew are all friendly and professional. Currently the front office is under renovation so plan to head all the way to the back (right of the pool) to get signed in. A fellow camper gave us a ride on his golf cart during our first visit as he could see we were lost. This speaks to the level of friendliness of the fellow campers here at Winter Garden RV Resort. Two Costco's are about twenty minutes in either direction. Walmart, and neighborhood Walmart (for fast runs without the lines) aren't too far away. There is a Publix walking distance away. Just stay away from their delicious bakery. Soooo good. I haven't found an item that I haven't liked yet....dab gum. Oh and folks Aldi's is across the street and accessible by way of a side entrance that's open I believe from 8-8 daily. Soooo convenient. There is actually more I could say, but I'll leave the rest for you to see for yourself during your next stay in the Orlando area. We will definitely be back read more

Me and my family have been here for about 5 months already. So far we like it! There's a few things I'd change but overall, it's a great place to stay. It's a bit pricey but winter garden is a popular area so I expected it. It's very friendly, i was worried about theft as I leave certain things out on the grass (like furniture) but there's absolutely none of that. The pools are nice and heated in the winter, always clean and never crowded. I have a young child so I'd wish the playground was nicer, its pretty lame. The power has gone out a few times but I believe it was after a hurricane when they were repairing old transformers. (Just make sure you use the duke energy map it's really helpful). They always have activities going on, the staff is friendly. Id recommend staying here! read more

Not sure this establishment should be named rv "resort" when it is, in fact, a 1970's trailer park with a few camping spots. Our site had a concrete pad, that was so badly broken, it was a severe trip hazard. We had no water hook up, due to the residents securing all of the faucets. The cable tv didn't work. Our 30 amp power went out after midnight the first night, and wouldn't come back on. We had to use our 30 to 50 adapter, to get power. The thumbnail pictures they use to advertise the park are very deceiving. Only the first few rows have those lush green, level spots. The rest are wedged between single-wide trailers, and are made tighter by trees and shrubs, and resident lawn ornaments. The pool was clean, and well maintained. The location is good for local attractions. I suggest purchasing a Passport America membership, so you only pay half of the normal $50/night rate. I would have been very upset to pay resort prices to stay in a run down trailer park. read more

We did not stay here but Chad was super helpful. We had booked a week to do the Disney Parks, unbeknownst to us to get a spot at Disney Wilderness Park you must book a year in advance. Chad helpfully transferred us to their sister park Sherwood Forest because they are closer to the attractions. Thank you Chad! read more

Update since someone has issues with my other post FACT: Chad the manager said, and I quote without precise verbiage, "I don't care who manufacturers drugs in their homes in three campground, and I don't care who sells or uses drugs here." FACT: I stayed here long term and since I paid monthly rates, which are much higher than annual, I'm not required to maintain my own lawn. It is in fact the job of the management to care for my yard since I'm paying the higher rate. Also a factoid I had very little grass and there wasn't anything in my grass except their picnic table. FACT: I did hang my husband's work shirts up to dry and left them hanging up over 1 of the 3 folding tables. So if you saw more than 1 table claimed is because I'm not the only one who hangs a few items that can't go into the dryer. Yes, twice I left laundry in the dryer once I forgot and the other time I got really sick, such a trashy person I know. FACT: I was asked to leave because the manager was mad about my review on another site in which I complained about the mosquitos, ants and the gator, but never once asked what he could do to change my opinion or try to make things better. My experience here has been awesome. Great amenities through out the park. Very dog friendly. The staff is very friendly and try to be accommodating. They have a community mindset and encourage community activities. Sites offer electric/water/sewer w/free cable TV. Sites are clean and easy to get in and out of. Grounds are well kept. Two pools (well maintained), dog park (big and little), gym, nice park for the kids, 2 laundry facilities, 2 lounge areas with free wi-fi. Some of the roads could use improvements. Everything you need is within a short drive including the area attractions/parks (Disney, Universal). Publix, Chase Bank and Aldi's right across the street. Truly a resort compared to some of the RV parks I've seen in the Orlando area. Would certainly recommend and will continue to stay/visit again. read more

A nice place. Friendly staff and friendly people. We are here for 6 weeks during January and February so there seems to be a fair number of snow birds. Resort is quiet at night and have not observed any late-night "drama". We feel safe here. Heated swimming pools, workout facility. Shower facilities located throughout. Laundry area.Other nice things: grocery stores right across the street; drug stores less than a mile away; very nice urgent care facility les than 15 min; major RV parts store right across the street. In Response to review by Victoria B OMG First let me say, I have been at this CAMPGROUND totaling 6 years, 4 seasonal and 2 fulltime. Nothing you have said is factual. I personally think you are angry. So here are the facts... Fact lawn service is here once and twice a week but it does rain everyday here. Fact if you are full time here you are to take care of your own lawn, maintain clean yard, NO clutter or trash. If by chance the lawn service hits your lawn that week, lucky you! Fact, you leave your laundry in laundry room every weekend, not only in dryers but you also leave on folding table and hanging all around laundry room. So that no one else can feel good about using laundry room(that's a fact), this has been going on for at least a year, very trailer park like. Fact, red tape was put up for your safety. Red tape was also there so that the work that was done wouldn't get ruined. Fact, you still had use of pool. Fact, Termex pest control does spay all public building in campground, I know see them here all the time. If you request maintenance men to help with ant hills they will. Fact city of winter garden does spay for mosquitoes again the rain does not help this at all. Fact unless you have ran a drug test on the employees you have no right to say that, that is slander. The recreation area is a lounge. Not meant for kids to go and horse play, its place to play cards, board games, watch the big screen TV, READ A BOOK, WIFI that's right fact a gain WIFI in lounge. Fact, WIFI is in lounge, front office and even being added to other areas. Fact, the campground does have a playground that is nicely kept, and there is 3 pools for kids to use. FACT, if you choose to treat the campground like a trailer park, I'm sure they have to take action.
