The park is clean and staff friendly. Lots of sites. Don't try to check in early as they won't let you in early.

We have been coming here for a few years now and we love it each time. We only live 3 hours away so it's convenient for a getaway. When we are here we love to bike ride around the park as well as going to the pool. This park is conveniently located to a lot of attractions and restaurants. We like to ride our Ebikes to a Chinese restaurant down the road from the park. We also like to load our Ebikes on the back of the truck and drive to the South Orange Trail in Clermont. The trial is around 45 miles one way. This is one of the nicest bike trails we've done. * The park is very well maintained. * Water pressure is spot on. * The electricity is spot on and no issues (new or older side of the park). The new side of the park has great and wide pads and are pretty level (at least the ones we've been on). They are also not so close together. The older side of the park has gravel / grass pads. Some are wide and some are very close to the site next to it. All the staff here at the park is super friendly and very helpful! I also like how they have a text alert system to notify every one of things that are happening in the park. When we were there this time they sent a text out letting us know a certain section in the park the water will be turned off while they repaired a water valve. They also notified us some of the events were canceled due to weather. Three years ago we decided to purchase the full Thousand Trails membership and The Trails Collection. This has also enhance our travel experience. We definitely recommend TT Orlando as well as the membership. It works well so for during our travel needs! read more

What a dump.This place is a joke. Don't depend on high reviews. Tons of rules and few amenities. Poor to no customer service Billiard table dead. No idea if repairing"in the near future". So disappointed. Wasted time & money. Don't waste yours! read more

Have had membership for over 20 years and only ever came here, first they ripped us off by promising to lock in maintenance fee if "we bought that day" but it's gone up ever since and they do not keep it up! It's ridiculous they don't maintain better, the pool table actually has ripples and they don't clean off the mini golf, it's in terrible condition, shuffleboard courts not very good either! It's a shame! They also don't do the weekend meals like they used to. Also said when bought it's for our immediate family to use etc and now we're told they can't unless we're with or they'll charge them even to visit ? Seriously, but it's all we have close to us as Peace River is horrible, and hardly have any activities! A resort should have more activities planned, hope they fix these things and make it nice again not run down read more

They are very organized here. They make sure you get to your space with out hassle. There are plenty of activities for all ages. Nice dog park. They have mini golf kayak and so much more. been a full timer for a few year. love coming TTO and enjoying the resort with my family. However, this past month of June and into July have changed my thoughts about TTO and my families safety. There are families that have come into the park teamed up together, stealing items, having the cops called daily for theft of vehicles and then are then preying on other guest begging for food, bedding, clothing, and money. I paid a lot to be able to enjoy Thousand Trails peacefully and safely. However, TTO does not provide either. Maybe next visit it will be better. read more

Love this place. Very large, 2pools, hot tub. Sites are large and well maintained. Cook trucks come in during the day. Mini golf, pickle ball courts, tennis courts and shuffleboard. Close to all amenities and places to eat. We will be back. read more

Great place for camping whether it be the weekend or a few months. The staff (especially Bryant) has been very friendly, helpful & accommodating! Pool, park, rec center, produce stand, nightly/weekly events in rec room, it can't get any better! You have your choice to stay "up front" and be a social bird or you get go out back to D section for more privacy! Definitely recommend staying here, TT member or not. Only downfall/negatives I have found is laundry can get expensive and more of the time doesn't dry on the first round. & the park can get very busy during "snow bird" months. read more

Dont do it! They force you to buy membership for extended stay before your application is approved. Then force you to have 300000 in insurance for their property. The info they request is extensive and a privacy violation and they always want more. They do not return calls and barely answer their phones. Dealing with them was a nightmare. Beware and dont stay there! read more

Awesome place in a great location. Had lots of pull through sites choose from. Every staff member we came in contact with was genuinely welcoming and kind. Bathrooms near our site we very clean and had air conditioning. Excited to go back and spend more time here. Went out to the lake and saw an alligator and did some fishing. We will rent the boats next time and they're no charge according to a staff member at the clubhouse. They have paddle boats as well but need a 24 notice so they can grab them from the barn. All rentals do equine a $20 refundable deposit. read more

When we began visiting the campground a year ago it had a wow factor about it. That wow factor still continues every time we enter threw the gated entrance. There are a nice selection of rental cabins & park models. The D section is our preferred area for a site as it offers more shade and privacy compared to the other sites. We enjoy visiting the dock that overlooks a large lake & spending time at the pools. read more

Have I a professionally converted van. Made my reservation 3 months in advance when I got there, the man at the gate was nice. The ladies were hesitant to let me in because I did not have an ' inspection sticker' can't remember exactly what it was called. But they ( the ladies) acted like they weren't going to let me in! There were a couple of other vans just like mine camping. Thing is, as many emails they sent me, Never was this 'inspection sticker mentioned. Grrr . No worries tho, I get the 'policy thing.' Whatever, I got a spot back in woods. Quiet but trashy. There was a nasty B'*ch in the ladies room.. was taking a peek inside, she yelled at me 'No Dogs in here!' Annoying. I just got there for crying out loud! I literally was in there 5 seconds... snooty. The wooded area is quiet ( liked that part) but annuals have mounds of junk around there trailers. The place is really big, lots of cement pads for big rigs, no privacy tho. If your okay with that kind of thing. I Will Never Ever go back to this place. All the National Parks are much prettier, quieter, clean bathrooms, nicer people... The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because of how large/diverse the place is. Way overpriced!! read more

I was pleasantly surprised with this park. It's still your typical pack em in thousand trails park, but it's full hookup, our site even had 50 amp which we have found to be very rare at thousand trails. The park is close to all the Disney stuff, the grounds are nicely kept and while we didn't use any amenities, everything looked nice and tidy. There is also a Publix right down the street and a few restaurants. Our site F77 (I think) backs up to some cow pasture which was great for walking our dogs and not having anyone behind us. Overall would definitely return if I can ever find availability in the winter again as it's packed!! read more

This is a huge RV park in a great location. It's close to just about everything. In addition, there are so many amenities here that it would be hard not to have something to do to keep you busy. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, pickleball, shuffleboard and bike riding. The sites are huge and we had no neighbor so close they could look in our window like other parks. Disney is just a few miles away so it's an excellent location to visit Disney World. read more

This is a very nice campground. Lots of sites to choose from (over 1000 sites). Quiet, peaceful environment. Friendly people. Lots of activities to do. Most of the staff are very friendly. Stopped here on our way down to the Keys and here we are again on our way back. Check in easy enough, but we really didn't want to have to drive the motorhome around and around until we found a spot. Park was still quite full. It's the Sunday two weeks before Easter. Had hubby pull off to the side of the road and went in with the jeep. Luckily, it didn't take long. We had a decent site in a decent area last time, so I looked there first. Found one 2 spaces down from where we were last time. F section. Close to the restroom, clubhouse, pool. Pulled in got set up and hooked up. Immediately we started having power issues, the main circuit breaker for the loop kept flipping. In the 90's, so everyone here is using their air conditioners. Had to call the office for them to access and flip the switch. Happened a few times, but finally quit. That was the only day we had issues during our two week stay. Didn't want to take any chances though to head out for the day and leave the dog. Just in case. Still many activities going on. Hubby joined in on water volleyball. The Friday after our arrival we went up to the clubhouse cafe for breakfast. Ordered and were told the price, we questioned it. Yep, it was correct. Every thing half off through the weekend, while supplies lasted. Last weekend for the cafe. Good for us, bad for us. We really looked forward to a good, reasonably priced breakfast on weekend mornings. By the following Monday, many people had left. Large Canadian presence here the ought the winter months. By the time we left, Easter Sunday. I would say the park was just a touch over half full. Again, we enjoyed our stay, met some nice people. If in Florida ever again, this would be on our list to stop and stay. read more

This is our second stay at this park. The first stay was great. We picked a spot in the older D section, away from too many people, and a little more in nature. My only complaint with that stay was the laundry. This is the highest priced laundry I've seen at an rv park which is made worse by their token system. Most parks take coins or card but this one you have to exchange cash for tokens so if you don't have exactly the amount you need you're left with a bunch of useless tokens when you leave. This second stay we made sure to do laundry at the previous park to avoid this and save some $. We picked a spot closer to the clubhouse this time and again, no complaints, until the power went out at about 11:30am on Saturday (Veteran's Day). I get it, things happen. I'm not upset the power went out. While it sucks and is inconvenient, I know it's not entirely the park's fault. I completely understand the holiday making it harder to get a tech out. What I find unacceptable is the lack of communication on thousand trails part to keep people informed of the progress and what to expect. As I write this we are coming up on 48 hours with no power. The rumor mill on the socials for the campground are swarming with heresay and 'he said she said' and the park staff seems to be as in the dark (pun absolutely intended) as the campers. There is a text notification process that can be signed up for, but the texts are few and far between and provide minimal information. The texts should be hourly at this point even if no new info to provide, and it should include options to rectify the situation. The entire park isn't down, so let people know if there is a possibility of moving and what that process will entail. Stop telling people it will be back up 'soon'. Heading into our 3rd day with no power when you have been saying 'soon' since day one is unacceptable. When it's on someone else I.e, the power company, or an outside contractor, management should be in constant contact with that third party so they can relay actionable information to campers. I'd probably give the park itself and in house staff 4 stars. But management needs to do better. Communication is key. read more

Complete 5 star experience all the way from check-in to departure. We stayed in site Largo 21 for 2 weeks and desperately wished that it could have been longer! Our full-hookup back in site was very long and it also has a concrete pad. This RV resort has over 1,000 sites and it is absolutely gorgeous. It features 2 large pools, a hot tub, recreation center, fitness room and even a small store. Lots of space for biking and walking. Packages are accepted at the onsite mailroom but you have to pay a small $5.00 fee (cash only.) Tokens are required to use the onsite laundry machines and they cost $1.00 each. Washing and drying both require 3 tokens and the machines were in good shape. Several food trucks visit during the week. Make sure to check out Veronica's Cuisine on Fridays as their breakfast food is excellent! Our AT&T and Verizon phones worked at the site but the signal strength was weak. Did not try the optional paid wifi. Free wifi at the rec center was awful. We were also able to program lots of free over-the-air TV channels. Recycling is available onsite. My wife and I have visited over 40 Thousand Trails parks over the last 2+ years and this location is our hands-down favorite. Thank you Orlando RV Resort team! read more

This campground is huge and definitely nice. We have stayed here several times, but it's not a favorite of mine. It's convenient to the Orlando attractions if you're in the area for that and don't plan to spend much time at your RV. The power and water are mostly reliable, but the bathhouses can not guarantee a hot shower. Sites are very close together in some areas while others have giant lots. I don't recommend wasting money on the paid internet service, it does not sustain a connection in most areas of the campground. read more

The park itself isn't bad. The staff is nice and the pools seem to be well kept. However fire ants have taken over this entire property! Everywhere you look mounds and mounds of ants!!! The sites have decent concrete slabs, but you can't sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather because the fire ants immediately begin feasting on every single exposed body part! read more

What a great RV resort. This place is hudge. Over 850 sites, and you don't feel like a sardine. Plenty of space at each site. The people here are super friendly. They have just about any kind of recreational activity that one would want. It's close to the attraction parks and plenty of other outside activities. 1 1/2 to 2 hrs from each coast. Overall it is a nice park , there is a reasonable distance between each rv and it is kept well and clean. The park is very large and it is hard to find a site that best suits your needs. We spent 40 minutes looking for a site to park in and were told we can park in any spot that WAS NOT marked as an annual parking when we entered but once we parked in an empty spot we were told to move because it was a seasonal spot which we weren't informed that we could not park there either so it became a hassle. It would be nice to be guided by a staff member where to go for first timers as soon as you enter. The bathroom closest to our site had no running hot water in the showers and we had to gather our things and look for another restroom, which thankfully was CLEAN and had warm water. Although there were some difficulties it was a nice park to spend for 2 or 3 days. It is close to Disney and other attractions. read more

A fairly nice place with lots of room, good pools and a few things to do. The only drawback I really noticed was most of the sites are old and need repaving, and many buildings need updating. Overall a great place to stay and close enough to disneyworld. I stayed here for 4 or so weeks in fall of 2014 and have come back summer of 2015 for 2 or 3 weeks. There were a couple new things such as a fence around the garbage/recycling area and a giant size chess board. I think that many would've been better spent on repairing some of the sites concrete pads. read more

This campground offers everything. For us the greatest amenity is the staff especially the maintenance crew. We stored our 5th wheel for a few weeks and needed assistance getting hooked up. The head of maintenance and his newest staff member took as much time as needed to get us on the road. They truly went above and beyond. We look forward to returning. read more
