Dr. Andy Newman and the staff at Winter Park Veterinary Hospital are amazing. I highly recommend going to Winter Park Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Newman is friendly, knowledgeable, and the only veterinarian I will go to. If he can't figure out what's wrong with your pet, there's a good chance he knows someone who can. He was able to help diagnose and treat my yorkie with COMS at a very early age. We were able to manage my pup's condition with medication and, eleven years later, my pup is happy, healthy, and living a normal life. I've been going to Dr. Newman for fourteen years now, and every visit, he's been able to give me the peace of mind knowing that my pups are in good hands. From annual checkups to surgeries, there's no one I trust more with my pets. Go see him. You and your pet won't regret it.

A review for bunny owners amongst the dog and cat lovers. Winter Park Veterinary Hospital is a wonderful hospital with caring professionals. If you have an exotic pet/small mammal, I highly recommend the doctors here. My bunny Sesame had a GI scare and I was calling around frantically trying to get an appointment for her to be seen since I didn't want for her to reach GI Stasis. WPVH was able to get me in the same day. Dr. Delaney was very professional and knowledgeable about the situation. I appreciated her care and explanations, and felt very comfortable moving forward with her treatment plan. She was also upfront about costs which I appreciated since exotic animal veterinary care can be very pricey and I really appreciated the transparency. That being said, it was still pretty pricey (but that's fairly typical for exotic vets, rabbits are expensive pets to have). There was a $190 deposit and her treatment cost $300, including x-rays and medication. Again, that's pretty average for exotic vet care and she received quality treatment, so I have no complaints! Sesame was up and running the next day after taking her medication. I also appreciated the follow up call the next day. Aside from their treatment center, I also saw that WPVH provides boarding and other services. The facility is also gorgeous -- there's a small garden and water fixture in the front and the lobby is lovely. There's tons of space and I think their cat room has windows overlooking the lobby; it was so cute seeing a glimpse of them! Overall, I recommend WPVH if you have a rabbit and I am appreciative of their openness and availability for emergency cases.

my pet Pigeon Pidgie after seeing Dr.Delaney, he had been very calm and recurved so much relief after seeing her!

Despite my initial disappointment with my more recent emergency visit, WP Vet resolved my concerns and did the right thing ... thanks!

I wouldn't even ask my friends to come into care for my pets! My senior cat always runs and hides ( she has always been a scaredy-cat ) But for the other cat, Marci is the highlight of her day ;) I've been using Marci and her staff/service for about 6-7 years I believe. She is accommodating in every way. No matter if I'm planning a vacation out of state or have a last minute emergency, I can count on her to check I on my Fur Babies! She is very loving towards my cats and treats them like her own...as expected...and I always get updates with pictures, which is an added bonus!! Who wouldn't want a picture of your pet while you are away! On extended visits away, she is nice enough to get the mail, water the plants and check the house for any break ins or if something is out of place. I have not met a more professional ,compassionate, knowledgeable person with such a big heart for animals and their owners! Thank you Marci and staff for everything!!!!

Today, I went to have my puppy's nails trimmed after calling to confirm there was someone there to trim them. Once I arrived, I was told a mask is manditory, which I have abandoned and have none with me, but no one told me this when I called. And, there were no customers in the store. Then I was instructed to wait outside until her nails were done but there were no chairs to sit in to wait. While I was walking to the door to wait outside, my puppy escaped from her collar and ran to me, probably thinking I was leaving her. The staff restraining her became frantic and hollered at me to catch her. This only aggitated my puppy more and they had to drag her off with two leashes. I drive out of my way to support this business but they are too busy with other distractions to care professionally for their customers and dogs. If they require masks that no one else in the area requires, then they should alert customers in advance, manage situations, and provide a comfortable waiting area or masks for those without.
