We recently moved from Miami to Orlando and I was very nervous about switching vets after being with the same one for 10 years. From the moment we walked into 4 Paws Animal Clinic, I knew we made the right choice. Dr. Bert was amazing -- thorough, patient, and incredibly kind. She took the time to really get to know Diesel, performed a very detailed exam, and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed. That level of care meant so much to me. I also truly appreciate how calm and organized the clinic is. Not having a crowded lobby full of animals made such a difference for Diesel, who tends to get very anxious in those situations. In the past, we would have to wait in the car until called in, so this was such a refreshing experience. You can genuinely tell that everyone there cares deeply about animals and has a true passion for what they do. My only downside was the pricing of ProHeart. I've never paid more than $180 for the 12-month ProHeart injection for my 89lb dog with my previous vet in Miami, so being quoted $350 felt significantly higher than what I was used to especially he weighed less at 84lbs. That was the only surprise for me that was very unfortunate and resulted in me having to switch diesel to TriHeart. I took one of my pugs for his first appointment recently and had a great experience. The staff and the vet were very friendly and gentle with our senior pug. He usually hates going to the vet and gets anxious and trembles. The other vets used to take him to the back and give him his shots. At first he was a little anxious but they were so kind and gentle with him that he started to feel relaxed and comfortable. They also asked if we'd be ok giving him his shots in the room with us present and we were definitely fine with that. We look forward to going back and taking our little girl pug next. Our dog is a little anxious going to the vet after having to do the visits without us during covid but he seemed to be less nervous than other times. Dr Bert was super informative throughout our visit and didn't rush through any questions we had. She gave our pet his routine shots so quickly he didn't even realize what was going on. This is arguably the best vet i've ever been to. My cat was very elderly and unfortunately had gone through every single option available, so euthanasia was the last resort. This office is tops in professional care. Both pets and humans are treated with the utmost care. Recently had full exams and shots done on two cats. All was done very well. What a great experience! To begin, 4 paws managed to fit me into schedule even though it was a last minute appointment. I came in with my dog to address 2 separate problems. Then, the vet tech Sara that took us back was so good with our anxious dog! Really helpful, listened well, and gave great advice and put my dog and I at ease. On intake, Sara asked a ton of relevant questions to frame the context of the visit well for Dr. Anderson when she came into the room. Then Dr. Anderson came in and was so helpful and thorough. She listened to everything going on with Daisy, asked pertinent questions about Daisy's history and background, and went through different treatment options, and recommended a fantastic plan that I totally agreed with. She had a comprehensive knowledge of holistic, medical, and therapeutic measures to help with our dog's issues. She even emailed some follow up info to make sure I understood because we talked about so much. I was extremely satisfied with my visit. My initial impression on first seeing the provider and the staff was a bit cool, but after a follow-up call and a review of everything with Dr. Bert, I feel that I am in good hands and my pets will be treated with care and compassion. The office is spotless, bright, and extremely comfortable. The time the provider and the staff spent with us was good, and the outcome, lab results, and other related details were provided straightforwardly. Now my girl is about a year and a half. We just recently visited the new 4 Paws location for her annual check-up and shots. The office is great - clean and conveniently located to where we live. And the staff is fantastic. We had a super smooth appointment despite needing a large amount of first-year booster shots. Everyone was super sweet and gentle with my pup who, despite being a big muscular 65-pound mutt, is a super timid softy and was trying to hide under the chair the whole time. Just walking in the front door was a breath of fresh air, our dog usually hates vet offices but with this place he was significantly more at ease (it was a night and day difference). I was extremely worried about my cats recent behavior, and they were able to give me a diagnosis that day, they are very kind and gentle. We were very disappointed with our experience at this clinic. I spent a great deal of time with Hannah on the phone since we have a very anxious dog who can become aggressive when she feels threatened. I was assured that they were able to handle such animals. Our first visit was unsuccessful so we decided to medicate her for the second visit which we had done previously at another clinic and we were successful. They gave the same medication but doses it differently and we questioned that since the previous time it worked . We were told that this vet likes to dose differently and so we followed there directions. The second visit with the meds was also unsuccessful and when we took her from the clinic we were told they would follow up with us and we never heard from them. We spent $100 and never had any successful treatment. If you have a challenging pet I would not recommend this clinic . read more

A racoon attack on our cat was inadequately handled by the emergency vet clinic. Thank goodness for 4 Paws! Literally a life saver! We feel so fortunate to have found them. They were able to get us in quickly to properly assess and address the injuries. A specialist was consulted. Everything was thoroughly explained. The records and invoicing were sent quickly via email. Kitty was taken care of the next day and we received a call for several days checking on her condition! She is on the mend and doing well. We couldn't be more impressed by their service. Honestly, it's totally blown us away. And the couple of little things that have come up have been handled in the same thoughtful and efficient manner. Everyone is exceedingly professional, personable, kind, and accommodating and the office is beautiful. I don't review a lot of businesses. But I feel the need to do it today! I am absolutely blown away with the entire staff at 4Paws. They are caring, patient, thorough, and professional. It may be the best clinic I have ever been to with my pets. l don't like to leave my animals in just anyone's care. But during all this Covid mess... I had no choice because my sick kitty was fading and I didn't know why. I am glad I finally chose this clinic! I am dealing with a senior kitty with tummy and kidney issues, and these guys have worked with me to try and get the most complete, compassionate, care routine for my baby so that it is affordable for me as well. They definitely know what they are doing!!! The fact that they call you to follow up is awesome!!! I love that the dr. Explains everything to me, as well as listens to me voice my concerns. Booking the appointment was easy and I got text and email confirmations for the appointment. The office is very clean. The vet tech Keylis was very professional and help relay all my questions to the vet, and updated me if there was a small wait. The vet sat down to me to explain everything to me and was very knowledgeable and informative. I also received text messages to follow up after my puppy had his vaccines and with test results. Seriously if you have ever spent longer than 5 minutes in a car with an unhappy cat in the carrier next to you, you will appreciate the beauty that is a vet who will come to you. With three cats needing their annual shots, two of whom want to kill each other under the best of circumstances we were thrilled to find Dr Jacki and Adam so we could avoid the stresses of another car trip to the vet on everyone, human and feline alike. Dr Jacki and Adam showed up on time and fully prepared to address our needs. She took time to get to know our cats and each of their backgrounds as this was her first visit with them and then completed the exams and vaccinations quickly and efficiently. Our orange tabby Nate even rolled over for some belly rubs after she was done he was so relaxed. In the matter of a half an hour three cats had been examined and vaccinated and were back to their usual business. As easy as 1...2...3. Even with the fee to travel out to our area her rates were right in line with what we had been paying at our previous vet. I can't tell you how happy we are to have found this solution.
