When they do inspections, they're honest about what's required by PA law versus what's just nice to have done. This approach really helps customers on a budget focus on what they can afford, unlike some other shops in the area. Their work is always done in a timely manner and at fair prices. Sure, the shop isn't the prettiest, but that's part of why they don't charge 'pretty shop' prices! If you bring your own parts, they'll install them as long as they're the correct ones. Just don't expect a warranty in those cases--it's a straightforward labor job, and they do it right every time. If you live close to them, I recommend giving them a try.

It makes me feel better knowing it actually gets recycled. And they help me sort out the brass/ aluminum from the other stuff so I make a little more. At least it pays for my gas to get there! Apparently, the items were by mistake sent out without being checked over for defects. The company acknowledged this and credited me for their mistake. They did advise to always get pictures emailed before ordering from a salvage yard which will be very helpful to anyone who orders. Since I couldn't remove the rating from before , I wanted to give credit to the staff who graciously helped resolve the issues with our order. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot, I was draining coolant at a rapid rate. It was about 10 till 5 PM. Den's service center came up as the closest to me. I called so that I could get my car towed back home. The receptionist was very polite, took my information and within about 20 minutes they were there to pick me up. The tow truck driver was courteous, took special care in loading my car, and provided me with great conversation on the 30 minute ride home. The towing charge was fair and what I expected for the distance. I would highly recommend them for towing services.

Unfortunately, that was not the case. I recently brought my 2008 vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation. Immediately after receiving it back, the shifter felt rough and misaligned in a way it had not before the service, and it gets stuck. Because the issue appeared immediately after the vehicle had been in their care, I contacted the shop and reasonably expected them to inspect it as a courtesy before asking me to pay approximately $120 for a diagnostic evaluation, which they required. I was not demanding that the shop automatically pay for a repair, nor did I expect them to diagnose an unrelated shifter problem during an oil change. I simply wanted them to investigate a new issue that appeared immediately after their service and determine whether it could have resulted from how the vehicle was handled under their care. Instead, the owner's response focused on the vehicle's age, mileage, unrelated recommended maintenance, and prior hood damage from a deer accident that occurred in 2018. None of those things explain why the shifter suddenly felt different immediately after the service. The response also unfairly suggested that I was only trying to obtain a free repair and refused to consider any other possibility. That misrepresents both my concern and my intentions. I had planned to return for the other recommended services, including the state inspection, until this happened. Had the shop simply inspected the concern and handled the situation professionally, my review could have been very different. I have no problem acknowledging good service when I receive it, as shown by the fact that I returned after my first visit. This was my experience with Witmer Auto. Rather than investigating a legitimate concern that arose immediately after service, the business shifted the focus toward unrelated issues and made assumptions about my motives. I will not be returning and believe other customers should be aware of how concerns may be handled when something appears wrong after service. Update: After I raised my concerns, the business contacted me by voicemail at approximately 5:07 p.m., after closing. Later that night, at approximately 11:55 p.m., the owner sent me a private Yelp message accusing me of planning to "defame" the business, stating that I was "making a fool" of myself, and telling me, "Call me tomorrow or my attorney will be calling you." I found this late-night communication hostile and intimidating, and it further reinforced my decision not to return or negotiate.

But, the amazing part is that the day before I had an "oops" and backed my car into another, crumpling my left rear bumper corner......well, "that" part wasn't amazing, but this next part is. When I picked my car up, it was almost unnoticeable. They had somehow popped it out and it looks so much better.
