This was my first time trying out a laundry service, due to my dryer dying on me…read more I'm so glad I decided to use this laundry service. Joe, the owner, came to pick up my laundry at my house, free of charge, being that I live in Woodland. I don't know if he charges, if you live out of the area. They charge by the pound, which they weigh at their place of business. Before leaving, Joe, gave me an approximate day of when my laundered clothes would be ready. Joe communicated via text with any questions and/or updates he had for me. I was able to do the same. They had my laundry washed and immaculately folded back to me in two days! Joe, came back to my home to deliver my clothes. They arrived in three securely tied up clear plastic bags. My clean clothes smelled amazing! The total charge was $60, which I felt was a reasonable amount for 30lbs. of clothes. This service was well worth it! Next time I need to have my laundry done, I'll definitely call up Joe at Yolo Laundry. I highly recommend them. Thank you Joe, and staff.

5 stars - Exceptional service at Yolo Laundry - JJ is a lifesaver!…read moreI wasn't sure what to expect when I first walked into Yolo Laundry, but meeting JJ, the store manager, changed everything. What a genuinely kind and hardworking guy--he truly goes above and beyond! During one of my busiest months (hello, holidays!), I dropped off my laundry with very little notice, and JJ made it work seamlessly. He handled everything with great care, washed and dried it quickly, and folded my clothes so neatly and compactly--it looked professional and saved me so much space. I don't have time to sit and wait at a laundromat, and I don't want to. JJ kept me updated the whole time via text, letting me know exactly when my load would be ready for pickup. Thanks to him, laundry became one less stress during a hectic period. If you're in Woodland and need reliable wash-and-fold service with real personal attention, this is the spot. Shoutout to JJ--you rock! Highly recommend.

Good and ready when we needed it…read more Decided to wash the comforter so I got that done at home. The washer still worked so that got a long soak. Sadly, the dryer took a dump and while it still spun, nothing got even remotely warm. It wasn't warm enough that day (raining in fact) so I loaded the thick blanket in to the car and drove to the coin-op laundromat with a bunch of quarters. It wasn't dripping wet but it certainly wasn't dry. So I got one of those oversized dryers and dropped a few quarters in to get it to start. Ended up putting about a dollar or two in just to make sure it was dry. Came home and ordered a new washer and dryer but this was a reasonable temporary fix.

CONSUMER PROTECTION WARNING Do not use this laundromat if…read morepossible. Drive to Vacaville, or Davis. My washing machine broke on laundry day. I ordered a new washer but, it could not be delivered for 3 days. Just in case there was a delay with delivery / installation, I decided to take 8 pair boxers, 8 T-Shirts, 8 pair socks to this laundromat. When I removed my clothes after the wash cycle, (30 minutes) I immediately smelled a foul odor coming from my clothes. Since my dryer still works, I took my wet clothes home to dry. During the car ride home I kept wondering what that foul odor was, (it seemed familiar). I used the same laundry detergent I've been using for the past 15 years, (Arm & Hammer Alpine Clean). When I usually wash my clothes at home they have a "clean smell" with no flowery perfume. As I type this review my clothes are drying in my my small laundry room. Now the clothes are being heated the foul odor has intensified, and I know what it is. I have smelled this odor before. This laundromat recycles their waste water. They do not use fresh / clean water for their washing machines. This means they capture the dirty water from all their machines, run it through a filter, and reuse the dirty water. This is what they started doing at car washes about 20 years ago. The stench on my clothes is absolutely disgusting. The only way I can describe it is, it smells like turning the hose on a patch of dry dirt in your backyard where there's no grass. It basically smells like wet dirt / earth. I'm not joking I when I say this, my unwashed clothes smelled better before I washed them at this laundromat. I have a feeling nothing will change because this is the sole laundromat in Dixon, and the place was filled with regulars that have no access to laundry facilities, and are unable / unable to drive to Vacaville, or Davis, (most people I saw walked / did not have a car). So if you're reading this, and you're in a similar situation me, just drive the 10 minutes to Vacaville, or Davis. So consumer beware your clothes will smell like musty wet dirt after using this laundromat. Chuck McCoy Dixon Resident Since 1994

It is not a temporary hold, you took my money and when I told you, you took my money you didn't care thank you They always overcharge your credit card and when you try to dispute it, they try to say that the money will be back into your card, but they charged me $13 four times. I spoke with the owner about this and I spoke with the lady that worked there the day that I went. Just gave me bullshit ass, excuses, and explanations.

In a city full of apartments and university students, this is an absolute necessity and it does the job in a way that few others do. Washers of many sizes will accommodate a week's worth of clothes, a family's worth of towels, bed linens, and whatever else needs to be washed and dried. Washers seem pricey UNTIL you realize that the dryers are free for all the time needed to get your items dry. No feeding quarters very 25 minutes. The place is SPOTLESS. An attendant is available to answer questions. They have a small selection of products if you showed up from the camp ground with no soap or softener or stain removal. Several very large folding tables are available, even large enough to handle a queen size comforter. Easy parking in the evenings. Feels super safe. The whole vibe is like grownups, ya know? I was one of 8-10 people getting stuff done a week ago or so, and it was comfortable, even at 8 pm. No patron abuse of the facilities cuz it just reeks of being cared for. Okay, enough praise.

I found Fresh Laundries while searching for dry cleaning services for my husband and I's wedding…read moreattire. Placing an order was easy to do online. My wedding dress cost about $100 for dry cleaning and preservation in a nice keepsake box. My husband's barong Tagalog cost $19 to dry clean and his undershirt for the barong cost $6.99. We opted for pick up and delivery to our home. Service was friendly and our clothes came back in great condition. I went in store to pay for my order since my card wasn't working for the online payment. I was able to speak with one of the owners, Cleo, who was very kind and you could tell he is passionate about his business. Parking was easy and the inside of the laundromat was clean. The only I issue I had was that the delivery date for my dress was incorrect. I waited at home from 8 AM to 12 PM (the estimated timeframe of delivery) the day our laundry was supposed to be delivered and ended up calling the store to inquire where it was. I think the company can improve by giving a more accurate delivery date for special items like wedding dresses or update the customer via text or phone call if the expected delivery date has changed. Thankfully, my husband was able to be home on the new delivery date to receive our clothes. That being said, I still had an overall great experience with Fresh Laundries due to the friendly service, ease of booking the dry cleaning service, fair price, and the outcome of the dry cleaning. I would definitely use them again if I need something else dry cleaned in the future.
