This was my first time trying out a laundry service, due to my dryer dying on me. I'm so glad I decided to use this laundry service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Joe, the owner, came to pick up my laundry at my house, free of charge, being that I live in Woodland.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I don't know if he charges, if you live out of the area. They charge by the pound, which they weigh at their place of business. Before leaving, Joe, gave me an approximate day of when my laundered clothes would be ready. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Joe communicated via text with any questions and/or updates he had for me. I was able to do the same.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They had my laundry washed and immaculately folded back to me in two days! Joe, came back to my home to deliver my clothes. They arrived in three securely tied up clear plastic bags. My clean clothes smelled amazing! The total charge was $60, which I felt was a reasonable amount for 30lbs. of clothes. This service was well worth it! Next time I need to have my laundry done, I'll definitely call up Joe at Yolo Laundry. I highly recommend them. Thank you Joe, and staff. read more

Great little laundromat on Main Street with high capacity washers and dryers as well as smaller washers and dryers. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff member working was JJ, who was very kind, helpful, and informative about services in the laundromat and in Woodland.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a machine that takes cash for quarters, and they use an app which you can load money on to use the machines. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because some of the machines were out of service (one dryer had no door), also seating inside is limited to 2 benches if you're waiting for your clothes. Having said that, I'll mention the laundromat is on the small side. It's clean and JJ is awesome. read more

Phenomenal establishment. Very clean and that's coming from someone who has slight OCD. a few times I was there I seen J J disinfecting the insides of the washer machines which is really great! I had a little mishap on my trip to California. I had a Diet Coke spill all over my bag and it soaked a lot of my clothing that I brought for a meeting. The hotel didn't provide any fast service so I took it over to YOLO laundry. Did a fantastic job on my clothing and also offered excellent customer service. So happy I found this laundromat! The facility is super clean and the prices are more reasonable than the other places in town. Not to mention, they have fantastic customer service there. When I was getting out of my car, an employee named JJ noticed i had several bags of laundry and brought a cart out to help me bring it in! I came to Yolo Laundry to help my son and his friend wash their laundry. The place was spotless, bathrooms were spotless, and the young man working there was wonderful! He is so kind and helpful. Wonderful experience today bringing in a very large rug to wash. From reading the other comments, I believe JJ is the employee who was helping me. So attentive and helpful. Spent Easter morning at the Yolo Laundromat and had the most incredible interaction with JJ . He met me at my car with a cart and carried a tote full of my laundry into the building for me. When he saw how dirty the tote was he took it and went to the back and washed it for me. He said I couldn't put my clean clothes in it. He carried all my clean clothes back to my car. He went over and beyond, I was so impressed with his work ethic. He never stopped cleaning the machines, if someone left something in the machine he went to find them and return it. He helped everyone that came in. I can't say enough great things about JJ. He made my Easter morning. a beautiful example of the goodnesss that this world has. Let's be honest, it's a drag to need the laundromat. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I showed up yesterday with four loads of wet, heavy laundry that needed to be dried and I was treated like a VIP.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I wish I caught the name of the fantastic guy who works there, but he helped me lug the heavy stuff in, was waiting with a Ziploc bag when I got my change so I had a place to put all those quarters, and was generally incredibly helpful from the moment I got there until the moment he took the rolling cart back inside for me after I loaded up my car.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My doggie and I were standing outside admiring the rock garden and the succulents and plants along the side of the parking lot, and he came out and told me he had created all of that. It's such a charming touch. He gives the kids rocks to paint while they're waiting for their folks to do laundry and places them in the garden. He also let me know that they allow homeless folks to do a couple of loads of laundry for free once a week. I love that. Until I get my dryer fixed, I will continue to visit Yolo laundry and support this business. And eventually, when my washer breaks down, I'll be back read more

I wish that I would have gotten the name of the gentleman who was working at the laundry mat. He was genuinely kind and helpful. We had our 2 year old granddaughter with us. She was getting ressless, and the employee brought at a bucket of coloring books and items to keep kids preoccupied. We were grateful. Also, the laundromat was clean, and there was pleasant music playing (60's music). It was obvious to my husband and I that he took his position seriously and went out of his way to make the customers' experience exceptional. Well, it worked! We were impressed! read more

My personal washer goes on the fritz when I have to wash bed covers . So I went to the Yolo Laundry and I was in and out in no time . The machines are clean and I wasn't overwhelmed because there wasn't a rush of ppl at the time I came in and the employee is super friendly and very attentive to his customers . He opened the door as I was coming in , asked if I cared for a seat to sit in and offered a plastic bag for my newly dried cover . These new small details makes for an amazing costumer service . I got to say BEST service in woodland. JJ makes you feel like family, his always ready and willing to open the door , help carry your stuff off and on to your car.
