I was putting 20% down and I did beat out several other offers on the strength of the approval by this bank. That says a lot about the bank. The person I dealt with that was overseeing the underwriting process was very professional and knowledgeable. Overall I feel the bank did a good job. I've been a real estate appraiser for over 30 years so when I say the bank is a good outfit I mean it.
