NOTE: I started this review last year, but my computer froze and lost most of this so I am just getting around to writing it again... *************** meh. I really really didn't like this place at all. We went in after dinner at the Beach Place down the street (which was awesome) just to look around and digest the food a little. As soon as we walked in, there were 2 girls standing in the aisles with beach hats on, leaning on the racks as we passed by. They half smiled and I think one of them mumbled a "hey"...nice to see you too. We paced around the shop a little; they have a custom tee/shorts bar where you can pick iron-on designs that they press on to the tees/shorts of your liking. Bathing suits for pretty high prices, and lots and lots of Florida tees, and knickknacks (inflatable beach balls, skin boards, boogie boards, towels, key chains, lighters, etc). They have a pretty odd selection of alcohol as well (wine you find at the drug store at boutique prices). But for the most part, it was a pretty normal run-of-the-mill beach store. Or so I thought. To my dismay...wayyyyy on the other side of the store they had these plaster and wooden carved "rasta"-looking people that sit on your desk... One of them was a man with dreadlocks with his hands clasped together as a CHANGE BOWL (as if all Black people do is sit around and ask for change all day). His lips were HUGE with a BIG ASS smile on his face and a blunt hanging from his teeth. They had a female version of this as well; she had a big ass, huge breasts (which her top barely covered), and also had huge lips and a blunt hanging from her mouth. Both versions were wearing tattered clothing, had closed eyes, and they had over-sized features. To make matters worse, there was another version of these characters... there was another "rasta" man in a reclining position with a banana on top of his midsection; when you lift up the banana, it was a HUGE penis... I mean REALLY!? These are souvenirs that people, BUY and take home?! Needless to say I was EXTREMELY offended and appalled that these were allowed to be sold in this store. Not only are they modern-day glorified Jigaboo characters, but they are really not something that children should be around. I mean, after all- this IS a family store...right!? We just so happened to come into the store with my bf's niece and nephew...both of which aren't even in highschool...they saw these "souvenirs" and were really baffled...leaving us to explain what the hell this stuff was. This put us in a really really uncomfortable situation. I wouldn't go to this store with your children. And if you are offended by racial subject matter, I would avoid this store AT ALL COSTS. Also, mostly everything in this place is way overpriced and you could probably get it down the street for much less. Don't bother. Yeah...Blacklist. read more

Avoid this store at all costs. They are crooks. Went to purchase an item tagged for $12.99 and a magnet. Got to the register with my debit card and he swiped while announcing it was $23.00. He claims that even though it's marked at $12.99...that is for a plain onsie (for a baby)...this had a print on it, as a sample to show customers they can print a picture on of their choice. I said I didn't want the item and to void the transaction, to which he said he could not do. It got very ugly after that. They are not an honest business, they were insulting, rude and even taunted us with their friendship with local police. STAY AWAY! read more

Worst place to shop on the strip in Fort Lauderdale....If you're a smart tourist, you will do your due diligence and research before you shop here. They are CROOKS. THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY. OVERPRICED, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VERY CARELESS ATTITUDE. They not only pulled money off my card, but also overcharged me in a cash purchase as well. When I disputed it, they stated I was wrong and looked at me like I have 3 heads. Every review for this merchant is TERRIBLE. Just see for yourself. Their business card has phony #'s on it and their merchant # on their credit card receipts is too long....so with that said, when your credit card company tries to dispute anything for you, it's impossible. No phone #, no merchant ID, no nothing......Just be smart and shop somewhere else. They are over priced and jack up the price even more once you get to the register. Lastly...the cute little blue eyed guy behind the register is the crook. His name is Tom...don't be fooled by his angelic face. I wanna slap him. DO NOT SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE THREATNED WITH KIDNAPPING!!!! They accused me of stealing because I came back twice in one day and supposedly had "seen me on camera". This is absolutely absurd! I asked them to check the camera and told them they must have had me mistaken for someone else. I was just walking the strip and browsing for souvenirs and I came back to buy a couple of Tshirts after hitting a few different shops. Then 3 of them cornered me in an aisle and PROCEEDED TO THREATEN ME BY TELLING ME I BETTER LEAVE UNLESS I WANT TO BE LOOKING OUT THROUGH A LITTLE HOLE! That sounds alot like threat of kidnap to me! Don't Do Buisness With These People!!!! I visited this place on my last day in Florida. On my way back home, I began to balance my checking acct. To my surprise, I noticed I was overcharged for two jersey tanks. The price on the tag was 24.99 & to add an iron-on it would be 29.99. However, for both shirts plus the iron-on I paid $99. in a way it is my fault for I did not check the receipt before signing. I just went by what the cashier said ($69 and some change). This place is a rip off!!! Don't use your credit card here. I used mine on a purchase of $82.70 and got charged for $826.70. I didn't find out until it was in preauth at my bank. My receipt that I had to practically fight them to get a copy of says $82.70. I am still trying to get them to clear this up and have spoken to my bank to help me dispute the charge. Their phones do not work very well. I have called about 20 times and only got to talk to the cashier who said I would have to call back and speak with Con (Manager) the first time. Now their phones ring and ring and then it sounds like they answer with alot of static on the line and no one ever talks. When we walked in all the cashiers are standing around cursing with other employees and you can't even walk through the isles because they are blocking it carrying on their filthy conversations and cursing at each othe. We should have walked out this time but I had already custom ordered a t-shirt for my granddaughter. This is one filthy, rip off place and now I'm stuck until my bank can dispute the charge and eventually get my money back. I can't even give this place one star only I had to click on a star to be able to post it. Also the cashiers take an item that is $7.99 etc... and charge you $8.00 because it's alot of trouble to key in the correct amount is the answer I got from them when I questioned it while I was in the store.
