    Well the time has come for us to part. After many years here in Auburn with cable TV, now "Wave…read moreCable Services" these past many years, about 30 plus. In all that time these last six years have been the worst in regards to value. In reviewing my history and invoices I see that I have received nine price increases and one decrease (for two months, than increased again). I am on and have always been on their very minimal plan : "Core/bundle & expanded content service". No movies, no internet, no phone, no extras not even a box or high def setup. I am paying $96.03 each month for just old plain run of the mill TV. WHY?.. I called two years ago to talk to an agent and they said I was not on any "program" that would lower my bill but it required me to take "other" fees and or accessories ?? I don't want to pay more! Do you get it? I am just done with them. You would think they would review my account and offer a simple plan for us that just want normal local shows, main channels. NOPE! All they could do is quote how they are getting increases and must pass it on to their customers. NINE times in six years??? Right! Well AT&T, my DSL internet and long term (40 + years phone services "SBC") came in and showed me their NEW Directv service and for two years I will pay HALF of what cable has been charging me for years! Yes I get four rooms free and can move the receivers anywhere around the house, watch TV on my iphone, or tablet here or across the county and get unlimited data forever! Talking about forever, It took me forever to leave Wave.. My Bad! I tried to stick with them as you can see, but it was always a one way conversation. Even after the two years contract with AT&T, the amount the service will go up will still be less than what Wave has been charging me, (almost sounds criminal doesn't it?) And to top it all off, I get way more channels! I am not going into this new service without some experience using Direct, my older son had it for two years with little complaints. So starting Monday Aug, 2016 I will "CUT" the tie. My family is jazzed as now everything will be digital and clear and they also threw in NFL Sunday ticket for a year. My boys think I'm cool now. I think Wave had every opportunity, even at the country fairs visiting their booth, to make it right for this long term customer. I don't know... AT&T has always worked things out when I don't understand or need better. Good By WAVE !!! (:-)
