This is a really reliable place to go to for a cell phone screen fix. The whole process took about 15 minutes, and they do the work in front of you. The prices were the cheapest I found when shopping around. I would definitely go back. My only qualm? My screen worked but the sensitivity was way up. It took some time to figure out the new screen. Was it a genuine Apple product? Not sure. But the price was a good compromise, and it worked out just fine. read more

This is hands down the best place to bring electronics for repair. Over the years we have brought our phones, ipads, wii, and tablets for repair. Every repair we have had lasted. When we brought a tablet in they were honest and let us know that though they would be glad to fix our android tablet, it would be more cost effective for us to buy a new one since the repair cost was about the same as a new one. The owner was great to me and didn't jerk me around to try to sell me something I didn't need. However, there is one thing that I think he should know about recommending Spectrum to his customers. I have had Spectrum for years and have gotten brand new cable boxes that were faulty. I just got one and it can't be used due to a broken power button that was stuck. I'm beginning to believe Spectrum uses refurbished cable boxes. I really like the Wireless Guru and want him to know that I find Spectrum equipment and the whole experience to be subpar. read more

Unbelievable! in this day and age of grab what you can and make as much as you can, These guys stand apart. I have a Gen one iPad that I have not been able to charge for months. I did all that I know to resolve the issue then turned to the internet. The general consensus was to replace the battery. I am not sol bold as to do that myself. I reached out to the Wireless Guru and they suggested I bring the device in and they would check out the charging port, no charge. I brought it in and in under a minute they had me smiling as they were able to get the iPad powered on. NO CHARGE!!!! Polite, courteous, fast and efficient. I was having charging issues with my phone and after my husband telling me for months to get the charging port replaced or get a new phone, I finally caved. After reading the reviews, we were happy to find a place right down the street. From the moment we walked in you could tell that the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, there was a great neighborhood vibe and they knew some of the other customers by name. The gentlemen in the store I visited today were able to work wonders. I came in with a phone that would not turn on what so ever. I was about 4 people behind in line. The people ahead all had their separate issues, all of them in in out within minutes. It took total 20 minutes and I was in and out with a working phone. The guys behind the counter know are clearly versed in phone issues because even with the vague information people gave as the reasons they think their devices were having issues the staff behind the counter were able to fix them within minutes. Went there yesterday because I had shattered my screen.. they replaced it in a few mins. But something was wrong with that screen and my proximity sensor stopped working. Literally could not leave the parking lot without writing a review. I knew that if I drove off, I would forget and they would never deserve the gratitude I'm about to share. I broke the same phone (screen) a year ago, so I have other repair experiences to compare it to. The last guy cost twice as much and took a million times longer to repair. This place was reasonably priced and they did it in 5 minutes! The owner at this establishment even opened up my phone and showed me the poor craftsmanship left behind by the last repair shop. He then assisted me with a case and tempered glass protector. I hope I don't have a reason to come back. But if I break my iPad or my iPhone screen again (knocks on wood) I'll definitely return here, no questions asked. Side note: they fix the phone right in front of you. I drove over 30 miles to come to this place after reading the phenomenal yelp reviews and every last one was right! I shattered the screen on my work phone (iPhone 5c) and I needed to get it fixed before the company I work for charged me for it. I made the drive out here and I was out in 5 minutes...not 10 minutes like some of the other yelpers said...he fixed my screen in 5 minutes! He also gave me not one but TWO screen protectors for my work phone and my personal phone for absolutely FREE for being a first time customer. This was a $50 value! Amazing customer service! The two guys that were in there were such sweethearts! The price cannot be beat. $65 to fix a screen in 5 minutes...I'll take it! I will never go anywhere else for cell phone repairs! I had a mishap this morning involving my back pocket and toilet and had water damage on my iPhone 6. I called right when they opened and Steve said to bring my phone in so they could look at it. I drove right over and Steve assisted me right away. He not only replaced my screen and damaged plate but explained what the issue was and was very personable and friendly. He is skilled and did the repair himself and said to bring the phone back in if I experience any other issues. My camera was also damaged by the moisture and they didn't have any cameras in stock but told me they would order one today and have it in TOMORROW! So I will be visiting again for that. AMAZING!!! I cracked my iPhone screen and tried to fix it myself (brilliantly unsuccessful) called and asked if I could bring in my phone completely disassembled (apparently I am not the first person to do this). I arrived with my phone in 10 different Ziploc bags and left with an entirely reassembled device in under 20 minutes. Cost was low - $85 for a new replacement cover (swapped to a color) and $5 for a new back (while I was at it, swapped to another color). My phone looks rad, works perfectly and I didn't have to pay an iGenius with a name tag. QUALITY product, RELIABLE work, and most of all...KIND service. I am moving out of the city but will mail my phone to them directly should I ever need assistance. This place is honest, quick and they guarantee their work for life. read more

My daughter cracked her phone. Got it repaired here around June, thought I was getting a deal at $60 some dollars compared to 129 at Apple store. Within 30 days, At a concert Her phone fell out of her pocket onto grass. Cracked again. It wasn't that big of a drop figure that it just caught at a weird angle. Took it back to the store and they did give me a discount I think I paid around $40 for the second repair. Another 30 days, glass started cracking on its own. Started with a small crack and within a week couldn't use her touch screen. I called and they said that they would take care of us, however not happy with the quality of the screen that they use. Buyer Beware, the glass they use appears to be not as durable or dense as apple product. read more

Every single time I've ever had an iPhone issue wireless phone guru & game swap is where I've gone. Steve and his other employee (sorry can't remember his name at the moment ) have went beyond above and beyond to take care of me . I've had every thing from multiple generations of iPhone screens replaced to back screens of iPhone XS maxx done ...these guys not only get it done as soon as you walk in but they are super friendly and they tell you what there doing and why and they answer every single question you ask the best they can ..they not only stand by there work , but if they ever create a issue when repairing your phone they make it right . Very knowledgeable and very smart with all things electronics ..they fix everything you can plug in or connect to a charger pretty much ...I'm serious when I say this I will never ever go anywhere else these guys are top shelf!!! Steve just did a back glass of my xs maxx and he said it looks like your wireless charger is messed up , and I said ok so how much would it be to fix that as well and he said oh no come back next month when they drop the price of the part it will be dirt cheap ...these guys could of easily done the same stuff some scam artist mechanics do when you take your car in for breaks and say oh this was messed up to so I fixed that and now your bill is 300 more but they are some of the most honest ppl I know !! I happened to stumble upon this store, and being a retro gamer, I thought I'd stop in to see what it was all about. I was interested in a PS1 Dual Shock controller, which were in baskets, behind the counter. When I asked about it, he hands me one, which had some sort of liquid which had dried on it (Cola or Tea?). The price was $12.99, which isn't horrible, but you can also get brand new aftermarket controllers for that price (or less). I then asked about the basket of aftermarket controllers, to which I was told that they have them, but they are the same price. Not only do I think their prices are off, but I also was not impressed by the fact that he wouldn't just bring the basket over and let me look through the controllers, allowing me to select one I might like. Why the hell are they behind the counter anyway (with a white paper sign written on with a sharpie)? I then tried to get an idea of what they might pay for retro games, which I have many. He told me that only the owner has that info, and that they were not buying anything right now. I completely understand that, and I can see why... It's pretty obvious this stores primary business is fixing phones, and not retro games. With that in mind, stick to what you know and care about... cell phone repairs and accessories. These guys are great. My iPhone 6 wouldn't stay charged. Could have been a few things. Over a few days they changed and checked the port, then did the same with the battery. It ended up being the board so there really wasn't anything to be done. They did not charge me anything!! I initially took my iPad to one of the "big box" stores to have the digitizer/screen fixed. After breaking the original, I bought one through Amazon and installed it but it wasn't working. The geek at the big box store said they didn't do that type of repair so he confidentially recommended "The Guru". I had done the prep work and installation of the Amazon-purchased screen, but Steve went the extra steps to make sure it was done thoroughly and to his professional satisfaction, then he installed a new one. He basically only charged me for the new digitizer/screen and now it works fine. Come to find out, according to Steve, third party suppliers to not always sell the "best" parts. Since they did a decent job on the iPad, I took my droid phone up to them to repair for charging issues. Hopefully, I'll be picking that up today. read more

5 stars all the way, great service and really reasonable prices. Last year my daughter's iPad cracked screen and these guys replaced. It's been working good as new since. Just yesterday took my wife's iPad there for a screen replacement. They replaced the screen but when we got it home noticed an issue with the home button not responding. I brought it back the next day, and they fixed whatever went wrong the first time. No hassle, no problem, really good service and had it done a couple hours later. Now working good as new.
