We came here to get a MacBook Neo and a Mac mini. We were greeted and when we told him what items…read morewe were in the market for he immediately told us that there were no Mac Mini's available and that was it. We had checked on our phones with the APPLE APP that stated that it was available for purchase and pick up at this location. The Guy proceeded to tell us that it was not available and ended with that. We said okay that's fine, and then asked if there were any MacBook Neo available and he stated yes and to go over to the "order pick up table". My fiancé and I arrived to the table and saw a team member kind of slouched over the table and when we approached her she stated are you here to pick up an order? We said no and then she said well who sent you over here? I said the guy that greeted us in the front. Already- I am annoyed, cause 1. WHY are you annoyed? 2. The whole time we were talking, she was slouched over ( in a lazy way), she was not making any eye contact with us at all! I was the one that was purchasing the MacBook Neo, but she would ask questions or talked to my fiancé instead, like she did not even acknowledge that I was there. He also stated to her that I was the one that is buying it and to redirect her questions to me. 2 more people arrived at the table for pick up but she seemed annoyed. Her mannerisms and attitude was very below average. She spoke very low and I had to lean into her to and ask her to repeat herself which just made her more annoyed. The other gentleman that had arrived maybe 20 minutes after us later then asked if she can get another person to the table to assist them and that is when she went over and grabbed " Jake" to come and assist. Jake was pleasant and kind and was able to answer all of our questions and gave us reassurance and was able to assist us with placing an order for a Mac mini. If it wasn't for Jake, I would have said F this and drove to another location that is out of my way. The team member that was at that table I later found out by her name tag was " Ivy". There was no introduction no nothing just " Who sent you here". Like TF? She was also wearing a mask which okay cool but with her speaking low it made it difficult to hear and understand her while slouched over the table the whole damn time! very not approachable! Honestly, we came here to purchase some items from Apple, and yet members of this team made it so difficult to communicate and buy, like it was a burden that we are in there spending hundreds of dollars. I am so surprised that this location is nice, so you expect that the customer service was also going to be nice as well but ended up being trashy attitudes when it comes to purchasing an item. Out of the 3 people from that location, 1 was nice, attentive and actually showed that he cared about the items we were buying. So Jake, thank you so much for that day, but after that I think I rather go to another Apple Store-for sure if you come here you will leave frustrated. -2/10

Can barely get a signal all over Portland. Both T-mobile and Verizon are way better. When I signed up they added a bunch of stuff to my bill that I had to call and have removed. I never signed up for their insurance (the phone was insured with AppleCare). I finally decided to end the contract when they charged me extra every day that I was abroad though I never agreed to this and barely used my phone outside of hotel wifi. Their website said I could continue to use the phone while abroad and there was no mention of additional charges (though I'm they'll claim it was hidden on the fine print). When I switched to Verizon today I found out AT&T doesn't let you do that and that they carrier locked my phone so even though I have already left and signed up w/ Verizon, Verizon can't give me service until Tuesday because unlocking somehow takes 48 hours. Bad selection of phones too. Overpriced especially considering that it's the worst option in Portland. And this particular shop is sooooo slow. We were on there for hours while they tried to get everything to work. Geez.

What multiple stores had made feel complicated and inconvenient, this team resolved quickly and efficiently without making me feel like I was a burden. Although the outcome couldn't undo years of unnecessary charges, I truly appreciate that this store was willing to help when others were not. Their focus was on providing excellent customer service rather than passing me off to someone else. Thank you to everyone at this location for your patience, professionalism, and willingness to do the right thing. I told him and he quoted a cheaper rate so it told him ok I would go with it not realizing my number would change. I was so mad when he showed my my new number! I wasn't told it would change or I would never have changed it as I had the same number for over 10years and all my friends and businesses have that number. I had him start a new line with my friends number and switch phones for me, Unlike the other guy he would not transfer my information and told me to go to Apple.. He said he was unable to cancel my old line and told me I had to call Cricket. I just tried to and after 16 mins the call dropped. Called again and was on hold an hour only to be told I can't cancel for another month because I changed plans. One star had failed to inform me of this. If he was a helpful employee he would have had me cancel the old line before starting the new plan. He would've saved me a few bucks and an hour on hold . Luckily I checked to see if my phone worked before leaving the store because it didn't. He went to his computer and a few minutes later it was working . Unfortunately my friend didn't check herc phone and we were miles away when she realized it didn't work. We had to go back to one star. I'm perplexed how he made the same mistake twice and didn't catch it even after I informed him. Also, Cricket should give old customers the same deals they give new customers.
