I got my daughter's phone fixed because the screen was broken and the battery was popping out. I was told that I needed to pay for both which I did. A month later the battery is not so I went back and I was told that I needed my receipt even though they have my phone number and information along with the phoneinformation in their system. They to have no data saved for any customer unless you know the exact date of service. then and only then can they look into taking a look at my phone other than that I have to pay for a diagnostics and then pay for the problem. On Wed around 10 AM, I dropped off my HP x360 laptop with its charger at the Pecos Wireless Toyz. A woman told me the technician wouldn't be in until 10:30. Since I had class, I left my name, number, and explained the issue. By 1 PM, I hadn't received a call, so I reached out. A man told me to call back in 10 minutes. When I did, the woman said the technician still hadn't looked at it and would call me back. Finally, at 3:35 PM, she called, saying the repair was "risky" and that they'd follow up. I was confused as to why I couldn't speak directly to the technician. On Thurs at 2:45 PM, the same woman called, saying my laptop was fixable for $150. I told her I'd think about it, and she said to call back anytime. At 4:26 PM, I called back, and she offered to lower the price to $115, saying it would take 3-5 days. I asked if they had any discounts like for UNLV students and she said yes. I also asked if they would do $100 cash, and she said she'd check with her boss. Fri 2:32pm I called the Pecos location. The man who picked up said they did not have an HP laptop. Well...that is certainly concerning. After multiple attempts, someone at Eastern finally picked up, took my number, and said I'd get a call back. Sat 2:34pm after receiving no call back, I try to call the Eastern location multiple times and no one picked up. Mon 12:34pm I finally reached someone at Eastern, who claimed they had been "trying to call me all weekend." I had no missed calls. She confirmed they were waiting for my approval. I said I spoke with the woman at the Pecos location who told me she was checking if I could do $100 cash. The woman placed me on a brief hold and then came back and said yes, that is fine. I say great and the woman said that the technician just ordered the part. Since I was told the repair would take 3-5 days, I waited until Friday at 10:55 AM to check in. The technician is busy. At 11:57, Linda left me a voicemail that my laptop was ready. I arrived at Eastern at 4:15 PM, gave my name, and the woman returned with my laptop, saying it would be $360 which I assumed was a mistake since that's the model name. I reminded her of the agreed $100 cash price. The lady then says she has to call her boss. She comes back and says its $115. I tell her I spoke to two people about the $100 cash and asked about the UNLV discount. She said no we don't have any UNLV discounts...okay then why did the Pecos woman tell me about it? I asked to see my laptop and noticed new damage, including chips and a crack. The screen was still sticking out. I showed her photos of how it looked when I dropped it off, but she insisted, "This is how we fix it." At this point, I was overwhelmed and upset about the "repair." I told her my dad had the same issue fixed at this location for $80. She said there is nothing she can do and gave me two choices: pay $115 or pay $25 to have them remove the repair. RED FLAG I only brought the $100 cash so I tell the lady I will be paying with card, she told me no. She said this is a cash only offer. RED FLAG I empty out my entire wallet for her. It comes to $103 and some loose coins. She says again "you either pay the $115 or we take off the fixed part." At this point, I am crying and upset that I had been so trusting to a business that clearly wants to take advantage of its customers. I then asked for my charger. She couldn't find it. After calling Pecos, she told me it was there and that I'd have to pick it up myself. RED FLAG So after being bulldozed by an employee who played a game of "he said, she said" about the pricing, getting my laptop moved to a different location without my permission, having been left in the dark about what is going on with my laptop all weekend long, NOW I have to go and pick up my own charger? RED FLAG The woman called her boss again and said they could do $110. I picked it up from Pecos, borrowed $10 from a friend, and paid the full $110. Do not go to Wireless Toyz. My family has used them for years, but this experience was unacceptable. Fighting a customer over $10 after confirming a price is ridiculous. I'm glad my laptop is working, but that is no way to treat any person. read more

A week ago, I had this location repair my cracked screen and was charged $75.00. I went to them even though my cell is insured by T-mobile. I just didn't want to wait a week for a new phone. Six days later, my friends and I were walking in the park, I was holding my cell, and the screen starts cracking. The girls were watching as the screen was splitting at the bottom. I went back to the store and told them what happened. The Tech said I dropped the phone so the warranty they have is voided, I told him I didn't drop the phone and that my friends watched as the screen started cracking in my hand. The Tech didn't care! I think the screen was replaced with cheap material. I felt cheated, and more importantly, I felt the Tech was calling me a liar. I explained to Flatulence that my phone had frozen up and it now had a dark screen. Flatulence then proceeded to argue with me about not having the receipt and box. She could not comprehend how I would not be carrying around the box and the receipt from when I purchased it. I explained that I did not have the receipt or the box with me to which Flatulence was dumbfounded. I asked her if she carries the receipt and box for her purchases? she said yes. Right. So show it? Show me that you have it.. She became a Flatulent stuttering idiot. To which she said, : "You are yelling at me". I am not yelling at you, I said, I am simply asking you if there is any way that you can look up the account to see if the warranty would cover this issue with my phone since she had diagnosed it without even lookin at it and said that it would be my screen. My screen suddenly went black, no crack on screen or anything. I took it to UBreakWeFix and they wanted $160 for a new screen. They also said it would take 1.5 hours. This is the first time I've had to replace my screen but I've heard people tell me it takes about 30 mins to fix, so I took my phone to Wireless Toyz and thank goodness I did. They were able to replace my screen within 15 mins!!! Incredible. I even got a fancy sturdy new case and screen protector for about the same price as what the other place wanted. So glad I came here and didn't have to waste half my day waiting for my phone to be fixed. They give you two options: cheaper plastic screen replacement $90 or pricier glass option which is what your iPhone has $140. read more

This place is absolutely awful!!! I wish it were possible to give it NEGATIVE stars! I have a galaxy S4 that was just bought in August. Its a relatively new phone that, aside from the cracked screen, had ZERO problems. I dropped it on Tuesday and cracked the screen. On Wednesday Oct 21, 2015 I took my phone into this location to get the screen replaced. I dropped it off at 11am and the girls quoted me $140 and told me it would be ready by 2pm. I waited until 3pm just to be safe as I don't live anywhere near this location and didn't want to wait around if it wasn't ready. When I showed up they told me my phone wasn't ready yet. At this point they've now had my phone for 4 hours. It doesn't take 4 hours to replace a screen and this isn't a busy location. That being said, I left and came back at 4pm. It STILL wasn't done yet. So I waited another 20 minutes. When I finally got my phone, I noticed the bottom buttons weren't working. I told the girls behind the counter and the "technician" (if you can even call her that) about the problem. They took my phone into the back and did something to it. When they brought it back up the bottom buttons were working but there was a Safe Mode icon at the bottom of the screen. I asked her what that was and to take it off my phone as it wasn't there prior to bringing it in. She couldn't figure out how to do it and was just randomly going through apps and settings trying to figure it out; and in the process she reset my phone. When she got the safe mode icon off finally, the bottom buttons weren't working again. She took my phone apart and told me the strip that controls the touch sensors is broken and will need to be replaced. Then proceeded to tell me I would have to pay $60 to replace it. Basically SHE broke that strip ripping apart my phone and expected me to pay for her mistake. We argued about it and she ended up agreeing to fix it for free. But then told me my phone wouldn't be ready until 6:30pm. I left and came back at 6:30 and my phone was still in pieces. I waited around for another 30 minutes for her to put it back together. At this point she had my phone for EIGHT HOURS! I got it back and at first glance it seemed fixed. But then I went to use the camera and the frontal facing camera doesn't work at all!!! The fact that this crappy store caused so much damage to my phone and still charged me is ridiculous. Their technicians are absolutely incompetent and untrained. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONES TO THIS STORE!!!! Learn from my mistake and take it elsewhere! read more

I really don't like to leave bad reviews. I purchased an iPhone 5 charger I thought was new on November 29th. I haven't had a problem with it until early this morning. I woke up and the charger was plugged into my phone and about to catch on fire!! I called this morning and talked to someone who didn't seem to want to help. I asked if they sold refurbished iPhone chargers and he said yes, I told him what happened and he said okay?... Okay? My house could have caught on FIRE!! I asked if I could bring it back and get my money back. And he said they will do an exchange. After I told him I didn't want an exchange he told me to just bring it in. His answers were short and his tone was rude. He almost seemed bothered by my call. It was only $16 but I don't think I care enough to take it back by the way I was treated on the phone.
