Went here last night and it was pretty busy!! The wait time for the 8-9 spot was long. They have rules about arriving at your designated time no more than 10 minutes early, 10 minutes late but it honestly doesn't matter, because all general admission had to stand in the same line. Fast pass was $10 more...ultimately that extra 10 was worth saving me the amount of time I would have wasted standing there to wait to get in. Each house takes about 5 minutes to get through and there are only 3. You're waiting longer to get IN each house, than you are to actually go through them. So that's a tad unsatisfying. We had been waiting...about 20-30 minutes to get into the houses before we decided to get the fast pass. Literally no one was paying for fast pass so we were able to just go right in. Getting the fast pass guarantees you go first. Which causes the wait time for general admission to be longer, because they stagger YOUR group. Literally no one is wearing masks nor are they social distancing, so go at your own risk. But! They also don't make you go in with strangers! You might run into people depending on how long it takes you and them to walk through. I tended to take longer because I'd stop walking if I got scared. Unlike THHE (the Hills Have Eyes), this place offered a few carnival-like games and seemed to have food. I mean literally no one was playing the games, eating or drinking though. I'm on the fence about how to rate this place. I'll say this, this one was just as expensive as the THHE and had less to offer, so that's a no-thank-you. But it was only just as expensive because we ultimately found it worth it to pay more to save time with the fast pass. Time is precious! We would have been waiting over an hour just to get through 3 houses that only take 5 minutes to walk through. I will say this though!!!; WF was scarier than THHE, just IMO. But like, kudos to WF because the last haunted/scary house of WF had almost no one working in it. It was PITCH black, with a light flickering on so often. And it was maze like. So I was already scared going in because I had no idea what to expect in the dark. I actually enjoyed that aspect, although my friend thought it was lame that no one was even there to jump out and scare you. Finding this place was easy and parking was straightforward. I don't think the experience was worth the price, however I can't be that mad because I had fun and that was the goal. read more

I've gone to this haunted house many times over the years and this year met and exceeded my expectations as usual. Three different haunts that you get to go through each one more fun and at times scarier than the next. They have added fun stuff that you can buy and concessions in the last year or so and I think that is a great added feature to browse while you wait. From people in the lines scaring you all the way through to the end very entertaining and a scary good time. read more

SCAMMERS!! Do not go here! The cashier had our card in her hand. We told her we didn't want the tickets and she AFTERWARDS swiped the card. She had plenty of time to just give us our card back. She swiped the card and said " no refunds". THEY CHARGED US $108 after we told her to NOT charge the card. She was extremely rude and we will not recommend or be back. This is TERRIBLE customer service. The staff was terrible and the dishonesty was terrible. Avoid at all costs. read more

At the second entrance of the haunted house this woman broke out of character and started accusing our group of "not following the rules" when our group had done nothing wrong. I joined a group of coworkers last night and took in the 3 haunted houses at Wisconsin Feargrounds. I put a little effort into researching local haunts and found this one to listed as one of the best in the nation...it definitely didn't disappoint. If you plan to go, order tickets in advance. You can save $8 off the normal $30 ticket price that way. You will also want to bring a group of 6 (or mulitple groups of 6, naturally), so there isn't an odd person or two forced to go with another group. There was an hour wait to tour the first house. You're herded like cattle cattle through a maze while occasionally being shown a video explaining the rules of the houses and plugging a few of their sponsors. Everything is extremely well organized. Everything about all three houses impressed me. If I had to choose a favorite (which I'm doing because you do have the option of only going through one), it was definitely the second house. While you know the actors and props on each set are not real, not being able to see things adds an element of surprise to the experience which I thoroughly enjoyed. Not the best option if you're claustrophobic though. I did have one of my coworkers scream they were having difficulties breathing as the "walls close in on you". I could babble on about the experience, but I really don't want to toss any spoilers out there. Will definitely be bringing other friends to this one! read more

Went here for the 3 Haunted Houses this year and really enjoyed myself. We took advantage of the early bird promo, which was $20 for all three haunted houses if you arrive before 8pm. I accidentally booked tickets for the wrong night and the event director/manager kindly swapped them out for me and confirmed with the front desk to ensure that my party and I could still get in. Awesome! Even though we got there early, there was still about an hour's wait. The first haunted house was so-so. I was startled a few times but not outright scared. The 2nd house was really great, though. You had to feel your way through pitch black, duck, navigate curves, and you really never knew what to expect. The 3rd house was actually an outdoor maze, which was also pretty good. You could see people coming at you but they were still spooky since their costumes were so crazy. I'll def go again next year but may buy the pass to skip the line! read more

Wisconsin Feargrounds is advertised as the #1 haunted attraction, well I can't say that is true for sure without going to them all to compare but I will say it is definitely a good one. A friend and I headed there on a Saturday night to get our scare on. We got there early to buy our tickets for all three haunts and it was a good thing because we already had to wait about 45mins to an hour and that was getting there right after it opened. While waiting in line, you can enjoy watching different things they are piping through the tv's hanging from the ceiling and get greeted by the ghouls crawling around the barn. Yes, I said barn. You wait in lines inside where they keep the animals during the fair. Kind of got that cattle feeling going through the lines, it was pretty funny. Lines moved pretty good, wasn't a bad wait at all EXCEPT for the fact we didn't eat before going and our hunger was taking over and getting us antsy. Found out the next day they had pizza and passed it around in the lines at 8:30pm. Our luck, this was right after we were out of that line!!! Pretty cool though, it was a sponsor that fed everyone. Nice touch. When you buy your ticket you have the option to do 1 haunted house, the main one for $13 or do all three for $30 (if you are thrifty, you can get a coupon for $5 so it only costs $25 for all three) House 1 - Morgan's Manor Another one of these extremely dark haunted houses where you have to really squint to make out any scenery, how sad. You go through in groups and if you are not quit enough you will get run over by the group behind you that is terrified and running into you. Unfortunately by going through it so quick you miss so much and it's over before you know it. I was disappointed. House 2 - Tourment This one lives up to it's name. If you are at all claustrophobic, avoid this one for sure. You are in pitch black darkness working your way through things that hand from the ceiling and the inflatable tubes along side of you all while trying to find your way out without smacking into walls. This one can get scarey for the simple reason people get in a panic and start to push and shove and it's too small of an area to be doing that. Not cool people! If at any time you can't handle it, you put your hands on your head and say "I quit" and they come pull you out, no need to push and shove. House 3 - Unstable After you leave Tourment, you proceed down a cornstalk lined path to the horse stables. Super cool surprise in store - enough said. Stable are awesome, great idea and the characters interact so well with you. So overall, there were a few bad parts that could be improved but I really liked this one and would definitely recommend it to anyone. If you can't handle 3 or don't have the time, you can just purchase 1 admission for the main attraction. Great characters, great interaction and unique ideas. read more

Best Haunted buildings ever, especially the first one with the 9 evil sisters. I was terrified! You can tell a lot of work went into the production and it paid off since it's was truly a spooky time. I'm going back to try out the Escape. I guess it's like a game to get out before the time runs out. You solve puzzles to open doors to exit and not get murdered. read more

This was our favorite haunted house and we go to a other of them! I've worked in haunted houses when I was in college and I'm seldom impressed,however this one was fabulous. Great costumes, props, sets, entertainment, actors, scares, and wonderful staff. read more

I enjoyed this haunt, I had a great time and I would recommend it to anyone who has not been before. The three haunts in one concept is great, except I didn't have any thrills in Black-Out, in which myself and other patrons fumbled around and tried not to knock into each other. I'm glad I went once, but unless they update or add anything I probably won't return. read more

This haunted house was awful!! Previous years it was pretty good, and had 3 haunts. They changed it to 2 haunts this year and the 2nd one isn't even a haunted house?? You literally walk through a maze with strobe lights. Altogether both lasted about 25 minutes and that was it. read more

Hmm... I didn't think the first and last haunted houses were that scary. I do think there were good props but it was very dark and you couldn't really see anything. You were pretty much just trying to figure out which way to go. If lighting was better, they might've been decent. But it was just a lot of dodging things hanging from the ceiling. Besides the 2nd house which is meant to be a maze of pure darkness, which was kind of cool, I won't be back here especially because of the initial 2 hour wait. read more

I've been to nearly every haunted house in the SE Wisconsin and this was the most disappointing experience I've ever had. Not because of the haunted house(s) themselves, but because of the way they did a 'bait and switch' on the tickets and timing. We bought advance tickets with a time of 8 pm. We got there at 8, only to find that there was a stated 'wait time' of an hour. OK, that was disappointing, but we'll tough it out. We get into the line, a back and forth corral like at a bank, and after 40 minutes, had only moved through 2 of the 8 lanes. So the wait was really more like 2 1/2 hours. So, between the promise of an 8 pm entrance time that had nothing to do with the actual time we were getting in, and an estimated wait time that was off by an hour and a half, we just bailed. From the other reviews, this clearly wasn't a one-off situation. We will not be back. read more

By far the WORST "haunted house" I have ever been to in all of the MIDWEST. Actors barely stayed in character, didn't care much to actually scare people walking in. I went to the three haunted houses and didn't do Hex, my group felt like we should've been paid just for walking through! Are you serious?? This is what you call a haunted house?? There was only ONE person who managed to scare my group and he was in the first house towards the end in a mask and actually did his job! I really wish I could've received a refund. I wish I can rate this half a star, only because of of the only gentlemen who did his job. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE haunted house! I could probably get scared better by elementary school students. There were barely any actors! And the ones I did see were hiding in the dark! Didn't even come out or run past us. I get you guys are tired, but then reduce your prices so your customers can expect such shitty service! read more

My husband and I are from Chicago and were up in the area to visit his parents. Needless to say, we have access to some great haunted houses. But I'm always up for checking out new haunts that we normally can't get to, and his parents told us about this one. The location is easy enough to get to, there's a well lit parking lot with plenty of space. We chose to book tickets for the Escape Room first. I've never done one before, so it was an interesting time to say the least! Would recommend if you have time and want to put on your thinking cap before going to the haunt. The haunt is comprised of three different houses: The Manor, Unknown, and Unstable. You have the option to buy tickets for just The Manor but trust me when i say you should buy for all three. This is a ridiculously good value for what you're getting, as all three haunts took us about an hour to get through. The Manor is a fun walk through a decrepit house, thoroughly detailed in every room and crawling with actors ready to drop trap doors and come around any corner. Unknown is unlike any haunt I've been in, more of a maze than a haunted house. It's pitch black and you need to feel your way around while being bombarded by sudden noises and appearances by characters. Unstable takes you through a barn setting, filled with neon paint and other creepy characters lurking around. The amount of actors is fairly large, and everyone stayed in character. I don't think I would change anything about this place, it seems to have a solid head on its shoulders and the price is right. If you're in the Waukesha area or even a little farther out, I think you should make the trip! read more

I have been going here every year for at least the past 6 years & it's one of my favorites! 3 different houses & 3 different themes. They really go above & beyond to scare you. Sometimes I wish I could go through with the lights on because there is so much detail. I don't get scared by the costumes but the unexpected coming out of no where from a snake to a werewolf to a clown always gets me. They disorient you with lights & smells & you end up going in circles. Then there is the claustrophobia area. A little something to scare everyone & get you in the mood for Halloween! But your tickets online & take advantage of the savings. Do all 3 houses for the best time!! read more
