They even tried blaming some of their mistakes on us? We spent nearly $40k on what ended up being a below-average job, full of shortcuts with poor quality craftsmanship. My project started November 2020 and I was supposed to get roof patching and front porch windows…read moreinstalled. Corey Simon said it would cost $4058 total and expected 50% down. I paid him $2058 on 12/2/2020 when all that was done was the 2x4 frame work on porch. He said he would have to come back the next day with a blow torn as the roof already had snow on it. He never showed. Once the snow started falling consistently, I knew the project wouldn't get completed until spring. Once it started to get warmer and there was no longer snow on the roof, I contacted him and he still didn't show. Then it started to rain and water started to leak into the house. I contacted him again and he said he would be by the next week. He never showed all week despite my constant calling. I then had no choice but to contact another contractor to patch the roof. That cost me another $1100 on top of what I paid him. At this point I asked for a refund and he kept putting that off. We spoke on the phone and I told him I would be taking him to small claims court which he then replied "you do whatever you need to". He continually cut me off, when I called him a liar and con man he told me he was recording me. After I continued to try to schedule a time for refund he just hung up on me. I'm a single mom and he saw easy prey. I just want my money back!
