I had the absolute worst experience with WWD and Karen. Do NOT be like me and let their fake reviews on Yelp and the wedding websites fool you. Check their Google reviews! Karen didn't even show up to my wedding and had my hair dresser (who they recommended but didn't disclose was affiliated) act as the wedding planner (LOL). The wedding assistants who were very young, showed up late and half of my decor wasn't set up for my wedding. The entire day ran late and huge details like pouring the champagne BEFORE the champagne toast didn't happen, people had empty drinks despite it being open bar etc. Having these amateurs was worse than having nobody. I would steer clear, much better wedding planners out there and I would never want this to happen to someone else on what is such a milestone day to celebrate! read more

I corresponded with Karen and scheduled for an initial phone consultation. I felt an instant connection with Karen and really liked how she tried to get to know me through the phone asking detailed questions. We kept in contact via text as I'm in the process of signing a contract with the venue. Then, MIL called and mentioned that wedding planners can usually negotiate on my behalf. I requested for Karen to see if she can provide a better quote and improve our existing contract. Karen texted back and said she can help. Even though my MIL wanted me to go with another planner, I was completely transparent with Karen and made it clear that I can instantly put down the initial payment upon confirmation of new contract. I received no responses after that. Hey, I get it, no one wants to waste their time negotiating without some sort of upfront payment first. That said, I obviously went with another wedding planner. My husband and I hired Wish Wonder Dream for our wedding at the Vibiana in DTLA on June 27, 2015 and could not have been happier with Holly and the WWD team! We booked them for their "month-of" type package which starts about 6 weeks prior to our wedding. They have different levels of planning packages for you to choose from, so you can choose the one that best fits your comfort level. They were so responsive from the first time that we requested information about their services, we knew it was going to be a good fit. We had a great chat over the phone and we booked them right away. They provided a Dream Book, which gives you checklists of things that you need to do during every step leading up to the big day, as well as email communication in case we had any questions. We had our first meeting at the Pasadena office with our principal coordinator, Holly, and she was awesome! We went over every single detail with her and she took over as soon as our 6 weeks started. She contacted all our vendors for us, got all their paperwork in place, clarified any loose ends, and went to our walk through with us. She was always answering her phone or email even up until the night before and morning of, and no job was too much to ask. On the day of our wedding, she brought a large team with her since our wedding had 430 guests. With such a large guest count, it still felt intimate because the WWD team did such a great job of directing our guests and ensuring that every little detail that was planned was carried out. They even assigned someone to stay with us, so that she could address any concerns or needs that we had at any moment. I can honestly say that the WWD team dealt with every issue that came up on our wedding day flawlessly. I had such a great time at my own wedding and did not need to worry about anything else but smiling and having fun! My fiancé and i were both nervous and stressed about the long journey ahead of us when we got engaged. I instantly called and requested to meet with someone to help us sort out the mess of wedding planning. We were contacted shortly and advised of the three different plans. We chose the middle plan which came with a day of coordinator and 10 hours of wedding planning! The nice woman then explained that our wedding planner would be calling us after the weekend and we could arrange a meeting! I was thrilled when my fiancé and I got the phone call from Cat. She was funny, energetic, easy going but organized and made us feel relaxed. we never thought in a million years that we would become such great friends with our wedding planner. Cat was truly phenomenal. She helped us with every step of the way and I know it was such a great success because of her. She was on top of everything and honestly wanted us to have a fun time planning everything. On the day of, Cat had her team with her who were just as awesome. They were always there if you had a question. And my fiancé thought they were the great because one of them literally brought a case of beer to the groomsmen room as they were waiting for us haha. The coordinator had a team of 4 including herself. There were many parts of the wedding that were beautifully executed but there were critical moments that the team dropped the ball. Their communication was inconsistent causing uncertainty and frustration. The property was large and it required transportation for arriving guest. The entire team of coordinators was no where to be found at the area of arrival. A member of the bridal party had to wait around for nearly an hour to direct guest. Roughly 16 flower centerpieces arrived 3 hours before start time. By the time guest arrived to the reception area, the center pieces were no where to be found. The mother of the bride called the floral company and they informed her that the flowers were already delivered. I'm sure the front office of the property failed to tell us that the flowers arrived but the coordinator had a reasonable period of time to inquire and discover, and correct. When I found the centerpieces on th floor near the reception area, I took one to show the mother of the bride that I found them. The coordinator didn't like that I bought it over and she was rude and dismissive and talked to me like a child. Shortly after dinner, the groom and bride had a special segment that required special music and our attention. No one knew that the activity started including the dj. Communication was simply inconsistent through out the day and the coordinator wasn't professional and respectful to me. read more

I worked with Karen at WWD for our October 2021 wedding. I got the Ciel package -- day-of only. Even though the package was for day-of only, Karen was involved periodically throughout the planning process. She was always willing to hop on the phone to touch base about our progress and make recommendations as needed. As we got within a few days of the wedding I started handing everything off to Karen, which was a little nerve wracking, but I trusted that she'd get it all handled and she did. She was calm and professional through the entire process and she and her team were amazing on the day-of. I don't think I asked too much of WWD, but here are a few details that they handled perfectly for us... 1) Karen met us at the venue for our rehearsal and took charge while also taking alternate suggestions and rolling with our ideas. 2) She followed us back to where we were staying and picked up all of the items needed for the day-of. This included centerpiece items, welcome table items, table assignments, photo booth items, cookies for the dessert table, and all of our alcohol. She delivered it to the venue in impeccable shape. 3) I asked her and her team to do a little work to add fresh florals to some frames for our centerpieces and they followed my written instructions to a T. 4) They packed everything up at the end of the night and put it in my MIL's car so they could bring it immediately back home. read more

We had an amazing experience working with Taylor and the entire team at WWD. We first met with Taylor and her assistant Michael, about a month out from our date, and they developed our master timeline which was so detailed and extensive that there were things I didn't even think of that were very critical to everything running smooth the day-of (this is why you hire a professional!) *I must note, I was hesitant to hire someone because I'm the type of DIY individual. They then coordinated with all of our vendors and on our wedding day everything ran so smooth! It was absolutely FLAWLESS! Their team of about 4-5 people were so professional and on top of it. Michael and WWD took us through the planning process step-by-step and were always available for help. I'll start by saying that Michael Vega at WWD is truly a beacon of light in this adventure of wedding planning! He is a strong manager, advisor, and energizer. I would highly recommend him and WWD to couples who are planning a complex wedding like my wife and I did. Michael brings clarity when there is doubt, bright ideas if you're stuck, is laser focused to keep you on schedule, and brings the energy of the sun to keep you excited and in the right mindset when tackling such a gargantuan and complex adventure. Michael was on point, organized, and responsive from start to finish. My wife and I are most certainly happy that we were able to achieve our goal to host a 1930s Shanghai themed outdoor wedding, and it was executed very smoothly with Michael's help. If there is anything to work on, I would say that there were some minor issues during the wedding, he could have brought more ideas than we did, and we were able to negotiate lower prices than the initial discount vendors gave us for being a WWD customer. To be fair, these are some minor things in which my expectations may have been too high since this is my first wedding (perhaps it's not fair to expect my wedding coordinator to spend more time to plan my wedding than I did, or perhaps I could have hire additional manpower). I do want to reiterate that my wife and I are super happy with the outcome of our wedding and the planning process. We interviewed dozens of wedding planners and we're confident that Michael and WWD would be the best fit for us in terms of being very organized and creative. We hired WWD 3 weeks before our wedding to handle day of coordinating and it was the best money I've EVER spent! Our planner, Holly, was FREAKING AMAZING! From the moment I met her I knew I would love her, the day after my wedding....I knew for a fact I did! You know how people tell you "on your wedding day, things will be so hectic and crazy, things will go wrong, but it'll be okay" ... I was just bracing myself for that moment... and it never came! I can truly say my day was perfect from beginning to end and I totally give that credit to Holly. Holly, was a dream to work with. Her spirit, her energy, her joy...it just made our day that much better! No matter what was going on, she was so calm, collected, and graceful. Holly and her team totally exceeded our expectations. She anticipated our needs, kept everything on track, and were there for every little request. We didnt have to worry about a thing. It was just phenomenal! Holly has no idea how much she meant to us. Planning my own wedding was the single most stressful thing I've done and I was so nervous with how everything would come out day of... I honestly would not recommend Wish Wonder Dream to anyone! My husband (Fiance at the time) and I met with Whitney (the owner) to discuss possible packages for coordinating our wedding. What started out as an appointment with alot of potential, turned ugly soon after. During our meeting, I shared with Whitney my wedding vision and theme/colors... which were very simplistic compared to many of the photos of samples/weddings she shared with us. She kept a smile on her face in the moment and we left the appointment with the impression that we'd move forward and she'd send us more info via email. And boy did we receive an email!!! In the next couple days, Whitney sent my husband the longest, most rude and unprofessional email. It basically stated that we were not a good fit for Wish Wonder Dream because of ME. She claimed I said negative things about weddings and her work that I NEVER stated. One of them being that I said weddings are "stupid". Weird accusation considering I came to her business hoping she could help make my wedding day perfect.... A day I've been looking forward to and envisioning since I was a young girl. As if calling me names and being dishonest about our conversation wasn't enough, she also ranted about how she has one of the most stressful jobs in the United States, even attaching statistics to prove it. Yes, she included statistics! So outrageously odd! This email was a novel long and made a ton of accusations against me like I was some monster. It was so far off, I'm wondering if maybe she got us mixed up with another prospective customer. Either way, there is no reason or excuse for treating a potential customer like that. After receiving such a rude email, I decided to reflect instead of respond to it. Whitney was not worth my money, emotions, or energy at the time. I realized this woman runs a business by interviewing prospective couples who will make HER look good. She's not in it for her couples. She's in it for herself. If you want to have any say in your wedding (which you should!) do not hire her. She wants to put her name across fancy, expensive weddings that she can attach her name to and post on social media and ads.... not simple, personal weddings like my husband and I desired. In her eyes, we simply weren't good enough for her. And instead of being professional, she revisited high school and decided to bully us instead. DO NOT USE WISH WONDER DREAM for your wedding coordinating needs. Whitney is a sad excuse for a professional and doesn't deserve your business. There are so many wedding coordinators in the Pasadena area that will treat you with the respect that you deserve, create your dream wedding, and present themselves with pure professionalism. Hated my experience. Laura sneaked away like a snake because she knew she messed up. My wedding planner left my floral arrangements in a room , didn't bother to check in with the front desk to ask if anything was delivered. Had no communication with those ladies, to let them know if something was delivered for today's wedding to please notify her. She blamed it on my florist, whose job was just to deliver. Not to set the flowers on the table. When I walked in the flowers were off to the side on a table. As they called each table number for food. Her assistants placed the arrangements on the table as they were getting food. My mom was the one who found the flowers. It took only 5mins for her to figure it out. But the wedding planner instead didnt think to ask the front desk who placed the delivery in the office with air conditioning. You pay a wedding planner to communicate. Since day one, I never felt comfortable with her. Wedding coordinator I had was Laura. When I spoke to the owner she said, "maybe the universe didn't want you to have flowers on your wedding." I believe her name was Whitney. I took them to court. It's been awhile since my wedding. I am barely writing this now, because my anger hasn't left me, and I don't want this to happen to somebody else. The reason I am upset at this is because I communicated to Laura this was very important to me in the honey-book planner. I wanted my photographers (which I specifically paid for 2) because they said they couldn't guarantee they would be able to take a photo of the arrangements without the guest getting to the tables first. She worked with all my vendors and my catering coordinator at the venue in such a professional, yet personal manner. All my vendors loved working with her, enjoyed her sweet personality and professional style with every detail leading up to and the day of the wedding. I can truly say that I would not have been able to pull off a magical and successful day without her help. Cat went above and beyond to be there for all the details and revisions, and worked hard to get everyone on the same page for the big day. Interestingly, we were able to see Wish Wonder Dream grow and add incredible staff. Towards the end of our wedding planning we worked very closely with Holly and Taylor. At first I was a bit hesitant because I loved Whitney! Not to worry though, not only was Whitney still available along the way, Holly and Taylor were just absolutely the best to work with! They are supportive and have all the answers you need. We left each meeting feeling more excited and prepared for our wedding. Most importantly, our big day completely fulfilled our dreams. Holly truly listened to our vision for the wedding and executed everything beautifully. There were even some things my husband and I forgot to pick up. When I told Holly she came up with an awesome idea and it didn't matter that we forgot to stop by Home Depot. Holly was there right by our sides for anything we needed- she also brought our signature drinks which was much appreciated! WWD was integral in making our wedding day absolutely fabulous!! We ended up being assigned a new planner halfway through the process and Laura didn't miss a beat. Our day was flawlessly executed so we didn't have to worry about anything but just enjoying. I wish wonder and dream about hiring a different wedding coordinator. My wedding day was amazing, but I would say that is despite Whitney's efforts. On my wedding day, I was very behind schedule. I ended up being so rushed that I didn't have time to finish my hair. As a result I am very disappointed with my photos. Also, none of the groomsmen had their boutonierres delivered to them so none of the groomsmen have them in their photos. I also didn't get to do my bridesmaids shots or romantics prior to the wedding like we had planned. Whitney was supposed to arrive at 3. When I called her at 1 and told her that I was concerned about things getting done on time, she said, oh I do these all the time, don't worry. When I told her how upset I was that she didn't check on me to make sure I was running on time, she said that it wasn't her responsibility to manage the vendors ( uhm, that's exactly her job?) and that she was too busy herself to check on me. Isn't that why I asked her to come early? Also, for our first look photos we were supposed to have two bunches of helium balloons. On the wedding timeline that she herself prepared, it said 'WWD to prepare balloons'. Guess what? No balloons for the first look. She then apologized and said she meant that I would provide them... I don't even know what to say. What decently intelligent adult would say she was preparing balloons and expect someone else to know that she wasn't bringing them? As a result, I was majorly stressed for the first look and of course you can tell in the photos. I wrote an email to her stating all of my complaints and she basically lied and said all of the vendors, my mom, my groom, my MOH all told her what a great job she did. Every single one of them denies this. Also, the vendors I was able to speak to personally all complained about her. The hair and makeup team and photographer had to change her time line. Because her time line was unrealistic, we had to pay the videographer for an extra hour that we weren't prepared for. Also, she didn't check our menu and she said she never got the correct order even though I cc'd her on my final order to the catering team. We received the wrong appetizer to our meal. She did a good job of setting up the decor. I will give her that. The room was exactly how I wanted it. Absolutely terrible and rude! My fiance (now husband) and I were considering using Wish Wonder Dream as our wedding coordinators for our May 2016 wedding. We contacted them and even met with one of their representatives in November 2015. The lady we met with was very nice and we felt it was a good fit. We were ready to sign a contract to work with them and dealt directly with one of their owners/managers to figure out the contract. She sent us their contract, which allowed them to retain rights to take photographs of our wedding and publish them. Since we are private people and didn't want photos of our wedding published by our vendors, we didn't feel comfortable with this clause and asked them to take it out. The manager agreed to take it out and sent another version to us, but we noticed the same clause was still there. We emailed her again, asking for her to please take that clause out as she had promised to do. She then rudely responded, saying she didn't think we would be a good fit and completely stopped communicating with us. Their contract was very strange generally. All our other vendors, including our photographer, respected our wish for privacy and did not contain any such clauses in their contract or give us such a hard time about it. The way Wish Wonder Dream treated us was both unprofessional and rude. I am SO glad we didn't go with Wish Wonder Dream as our wedding coordinators. I can't imagine how big of a disaster it would have been to work with such unprofessional people. We ended up going with another company (which I will review separately) and had very professional and wonderful service. We had a lovely wedding day and our coordinators were communicative and polite at every moment. On your wedding day, you have enough things to worry about and shouldn't have to worry about unprofessional service. That's why I will caution all my friends against hiring Wish Wonder Dream as their wedding coordinators. read more

As a wedding DJ I cannot tell you how important it is that we get along with the coordinator of the wedding we are working on. We are a double-team that will make the dream happen. I cannot say enough how much I appreciate working with Laura Seguin from Wish Wonder Dream! She is how only perfectly professional and stress free but so much fun to work with! Wish Wonder Dream is amazing! We did try shopping around, wrote a few emails to other wedding planners , but after doing our research WWD was clearly the best. You can tell how professional and caring each one of their planners are from the moment you contact them. It took less than 24 hours to get a response any time I had a question (and I had a lot of questions) and all of the vendors they suggested were just wonderful at making all our wedding dreams come true. We started off working with Michael and while we were worried about starting with a new planner after he left, Laura made the whole transition seamless. As for our wedding day, their "Dream Team" ensured that everything went smoothly and thanks to them my husband and I really got to enjoy our wedding. We were referred to WWD by a family friend that went to school with Whitney and I am so thankful we were connected. At the start of our wedding planning process we hired a day of coordinator from a different company to oversee all the details of our wedding. Unfortunately, we did not get the caliber of service we were looking for and decided to turn elsewhere. That when we were referred to WWD. About 5 months prior to my August 2015 wedding, we met Whitney's team and knew it was the perfect fit. We decided on the package that allowed us full access to our coordinator the month of our wedding since my mom and I had already nailed down the majority of the wedding details. Let me start by saying that I was not the bride. I was actually a very active and opinionated MOH. I wanted to share my experience as well since the bride and groom may enlist help from friends and family when choosing a wedding coordination company. Laura at wish Wonder Dream is Aaaamazing! She coordinated my good friends Annette and Cesar's wedding this past May in Santa Clarita, CA. Laura was fantastic and was always there for us anytime we had questions. Not only did she have to work with the couple, she had to also deal with a third wheel (me). She was patient and really helped us navigate through all the different ideas and choices. There are so many details that go into planning and executing the special day. Laura kept everything organized and on track from the vendors, the to-do lists, the couple, and the timeline (to name a few). It paid off because the wedding with 200 guests in attendance went smoothly. From behind the scenes I saw Laura orchestrating the day. She made sure the venue and décor were set up accordingly while continually checking in on the Bride and Bridal party. As the MOH I wanted to make sure the bride was stress free and happy. There wasn't much I could do while getting ready so it was all on Laura and her team. Well Laura and her team made it all happen and did an amazing job. We hired WWD as our wedding coordinators and it was by far the best money we spent on the wedding! My now husband and I had very specific ideas of what we wanted at our wedding, so we felt we didn't need a wedding planner, we just wanted a team of professionals to coordinate the wedding and make sure everything went on time. We got the "Month Of" coordination package. Tiffany was our lead coordinator and she was so sweet, genuine, and very accommodating. The timeline we put together with her a few weeks before the wedding was so detailed and thorough, even our other vendors commented on how great it was. The day of the wedding we wanted an assistant coordinator to be with us at the hotel while we were getting ready. Kylie came and was fabulous! She was so sweet, very easy to talk to, and any minor things that needed to get done on that day she was on top of and took care of it. She was so calm and kept the hair and makeup on schedule, as well as made sure we got in to the limo on time. When we arrived at the venue, Tiffany and her team were there setting up our decorations and making sure everything was in place. They made sure every little decoration was in the correct place. During the wedding Tiffany and her staff kept us on schedule, helped with any issues that came up, and through it all were so happy and enthusiastic. This review is for Holly Brown from the Santa Monica office. We hired Holly for our wedding planner/coordinator. The 6 week package. We hired 6 months before the wedding and wow! Our first visit went amazing. I had met with other planners and Holly was the only honest one, i did most of the hiring and planning and she pointed that put and offered her help where i would need it so we went with her month of package which is 6 weeks before the wedding. I spoke to her via email throughout all of it and met with her 4 times in office and 1 time at venue and we spoke over the phone for the week of to stay on the page for the day of. Well We love her. Shes amazing, sweet, positive person. My guest and family loved her at the wedding. She was my life saver for a lot of bumps i had with my vendors and venue. Im so glad i hired her. Planning a wedding turned out to be so much more work than my new wife and I thought it would be. My wife and I got married on June 13th at Calamigos Ranch. In the year leading up to our wedding we ended up making so many good decisions. Our wedding turned out exactly how would have hoped. One of best decision we made was choosing Michael Vega as our wedding coordinator. Michael and his staff at Wish Wonder Dream were truly amazing. As the groom, the only thing I cared about was that my wife would get the day she had always dreamed of. In order to get that, I found out that there are thousands of things to prepare and even more plans that have to be made. When I walked into that venue on my wedding day, everything was EXACTLY how my wife wanted it. It gave me such a sense of relief that I could just relax and enjoy; I knew everything was going to make her happy. It was no accident that everything turned out perfect. Michael is a meticulous planner. For our wedding, Michael prepared a 15 page timeline that was incredibly detailed and well thought out. He was in constant communication with all of our vendors making sure everything was getting done exactly how we wanted it. In the weeks leading up to our wedding, I received numerous calls from my vendors simply to tell me how amazing Michael was and how much they appreciated his timeline. I am not kidding; this timeline was down to the minute! On the day of our wedding (and our rehearsal), Michael showed up calm and confident. He knew exactly what to do to have a wedding go off perfectly. There was not one moment where my wife and I said "that wasn't right," or "I wish that had been different." Michael had 4 other people working with him the day of the wedding. They were like a well-oiled machine with their headsets on and running around working hard to make everything PERFECT! His staff was also friendly and courteous. They had somebody with both of us at all time making sure we had everything we wanted. Michael and his staff also set up everything, took everything down, and even loaded our car for us. I can't give this man (and his company) a higher recommendation. A five star rating does not seem to be enough for how well Michael did his job! It can't possibly get better than the service and attention we received. read more
