We walked across the parking lot from another tasting room. My wife went in to ask if they were dog-friendly and found out that they had a shaded patio area we could sit at. We were only interested in tasting reds and the tasting room person made that happen. We enjoyed their Sangiovese, Syrah, and Malbec. All three were full bodied, fruit forward, had a nice balance with tannins, and had a luxurious velvety mouth feel. So... Friendly customer service and knock-out wines. Heartily recommend! read more

We happened upon Wit Cellars and decided to try some place we had not heard of. We had so much fun on a mellow Monday. Met two of the owners who were easy to chat with, as was the tasting manager! We even got fresh cherries from one of the vineyards from them. The wine was superb. Can't wait to visit again, and will also plan a trip to the Woodinville tasting room. We visited this winery to kill some time as we were staying in a hotel. We have been in the area many times but were not familiar with this name. The people that work there are more than friendly and very knowledgable about the wine (Bonnie and Jessica). The tasting room is very nicely decorated and quite large. They are dog friendly. We tasted several wines and were quite impressed with some of them. Especially for the price range. Enough so that we joined their wine club. Again reasonable prices for a wine club. Also a different way to order. They require two payments during the year. The money just sits there and you can order what you want, when you want. We like that aspect. We went Prosser's WIT Cellars site for my husband's birthday celebration. It happened to be the weekend of the Prosser Wine Festival so I called ahead to make a reservation. I spoke with Gina and she was very accommodating. We had never been there before but got the wonderful surprise of, immediately upon arrival, being escorted to our "reserved" table for two right in front of where the band was going to play. We ordered a wine tasting and were able to conduct it right at our outdoor table (which was a walk for the person who brought out each wine individually and in a timely fashion). We then each ordered a glass of wine to drink during the entertainment, chose some cheese and crackers from their indoor retail refrigerator and had an experience better than we'd ever hoped for. We also purchased 4 bottles of wine (all from the tasting) which were ready for us to pick up on our way out. Wow! Thank you so much to Gina and the staff at WIT! The band was also great. We were referred to try this winery from a local friend. We walked in and did a tasting. The staff was friendly and advised us that if we did a tasting and purchased wine it would not be charged. We ended up buying two bottles. They charged us the tasting fee. We advised them of this and they said they cancelled the transaction and reran it. However when they did they charged us for two tastings but it didn't matter as they credit it back on the bill. It did appear as if they were not familiar with how to do that as everyone was having to help fix it. Well, we ended up getting charged twice for the rerun of the correct price. They did cancel the original ticket but how we then got charged twice for the second transaction I'm at a loss. I called 3 times and left voice mails. Also calling the alternate number they list for Gina. A full week pasted and no one ever called me back. I then called and spoke to Robin today. Absolutely no help. I will never go back to this establishment again. Ridiculous customer service. I just had to file a dispute directly with my card as they were unable to solve the double billing.
