My wait was only 5 minutes before I went back to see the hygienist, Jessica did a great job and "didn't hurt me", always checking to see if what she was doing was ok with me. DMD Bills was very personable and didn't seem to rush and took the extra time to explain what I needed to do to improve my dental health. She's not bad to look at either!!! Concerned of potential damage to their permanent teeth that were starting to hit together in front, I got them in with Dr. Lucas. He was incredible. First, he knew when to start, which meant waiting a year to not start too early. Then, when the time was right, he put them both in an expander, top braces across the front, and a reverse headgear. Sounded intimidating at first, but my kids were so resilient and pros in no time. In less than 6 months, both kids' bites were corrected and no longer hitting. They're on track to get their braces off soon! So grateful to Dr. Lucas and the team for their expertise, friendliness and patience to 2 young boys, and saving those permanent teeth from getting damaged. They'll have a 2nd set of braces when they get older, but now they have room to grow and their bites and smiles look amazing!

Had a filling done here and had pain ever since I got the filling. Came for a follow up and after a…read morebite adjustment because it was too high I was still in pain but the dentist said she had no logical idea what it could be, offered no follow up plan, and did not offer to redo the filling. So I was left to be in pain for rest of my life if I saw no other treatment. Sought a 2nd opinion which immediately determined upon examination that the filling was compromised and needed to be redone. The 2nd opinion was communicated to this dentist. I sent an email and went in person to give this office the chance to redo the filling, release my insurance claim, or refund for out of pocket costs paid for the last filling. They refused all 3 options and closed my account. I later went to my pcp and was prescribed oral rinse which got rid of most my pain when used per the instructions. I got the filling at the 2nd dentist (as the pain would come back when oral rinse was not used) and the pain was gone the day after treatment. I am so disappointed that the dentist would rather choose a complaint to the dental board, filing with insurance appeal, a bbb complaint and negative review on social media sites, and the possibly getting sued instead of just taking accountability. This could have been easily avoided had you offered to redo the filling at the follow up (Like any other good Dentist would have done) OR just released the insurance claim OR paid back the $300 I paid out of pocket. You might be ok here with a dental cleaning but anything else that is irreversible Caveat Emptor. (Or in other words if this office makes a mistake beware you will foot the bill)

Cuts the time of waiting for a doctor to come and check after a cleaning. Though there were lots of brochures of different types of available services/products to purchase, there were no pressure or questions asked on whether I wanted anything or should purchase a specific service. I love that. Also no shaming, questioning, or hinting as many hygienist do with flossing or teeth color. My teeth aren't yellow but I do drink a lot of tea and coffee so they aren't white either; it was cool that as long as teeth are healthy then it wasn't mentioned.

The biggest issue I face is that I've been cursed with ultra-sensitive teeth. And most people who work on my teeth just butcher their approach. They eagerly whip out the Cavitron, my mortal enemy that ejects sprays of cold water, something that simulates my teeth being ripped out with pliers. Lazy hygienists seem to prefer this approach over simply scraping away the plaque by hand. After circulating through at least 15 dentist offices in my life, I finally found Laser Dentistry in Franklin. The drive coming down from Nashville is absolutely worth it! At this welcoming office filled with wonderful employees who genuinely care about their pateints, they respect my wishes to avoid the dreaded Cavitron, carefully removing the plaque between my teeth one gentle scrape at a time. Before booking with this trendy new dentist, I highly recommend giving your insurance company a call to ensure that you're covered ... Really, this is a good practice with any medical or dental service. I got the green light, and confirmed with the receptionist upon arrival that Tend accepts my insurance. The interior is clean and chic, with some fun patterns and tooth-themed decor throughout. I also appreciate the thoughtful details like having my name on the TV screen when I got to my room, and the sign that said "This space has been cleaned for you." My hygienist, Karen, was kind and knowledgeable throughout the appointment. She offered several great suggestions for oral health, along with genuine conversation. The dentist, Dr. Leonard, was friendly and thorough. During your cleaning, they allow you to wear noise cancelling headphones and watch a TV show of your choice on a screen on the ceiling. I got dental insurance, and processed it through the Tend app 2 months ago, Made an appointment with the treatment plan given, and called for an estimate. Where I was informed 24hrs before my appointment that they still haven't verified my insurance and are unable to give me an OOP estimate. So they moved my appointment to allow time, I called back again before the next appt, STILL nothing. That was a month ago. The past 4 days. I've been stuck on calls with the call centers that wont actually give me any information as they're saying my insurance wasn't verified since I didn't have an appointment.... Which I did in DEC that I had to cancel due to their lack of help. So Another appointment is made, and I ask for an OOP quote and they said nope, still not verified, cant quote anything. This does not make sense. How does this company expect to get clients when they're not helpful or giving answers. I called a dental office down the street from Tend today, and they were able to process my insurance and give me a quote with in 15 minutes. For a "trendy aesthetically pleasing" dental office thats all they have going for them, as the lack of helping customers.

I've been driving out to Franklin to deal with adult braces and was getting periodically cleaned by the orthodontist, but it turns out that I've had a tiny cavity on the back upper row that I had no idea about. They got it out quick and painless. I was in and out of this office in half an hour. They've given me great products (that were most definitely needed) to help with my dental health. However, my personal experience with the dental hygienist at my very first visit is that she was extremely aggressive. I honestly felt like I was a toilet bowl she was scrubbing the inside of when it came to the tooth polishing process - it was literally comical! I had toothpaste and water all over my face. This is not normal folks! Not to mention how painful the actual cleaning was. She did not use a manual scraping tool but rather an electronic water pick type tool which she was so aggressive with. After I came home my entire mouth was hurting for hours. I brush twice a day and floss every night. I have had nothing but excellent cleanings. But this lady said I had deep pockets that needed to be cleaned. In the past when I have had to have deep cleaning they would anesthetize you...this was not done. She just dug right on in there with her electric cattle prod instrument! So needless to say I will NOT be going back.
